I agree. IMO Jack is calm water...I think there is great depth to Jack...I sure like to see more.
But then; I'm an introverted type A scorpio and that makes me very guarded and private. So...
      Jack,

Troubleshooting/fixing electronics and mechanical systems has got to be one of the most valuable blue water sailing/motor yachting skills to have. Only bested by sailing knowledge and medical. My wife is a ER PA and I'm a retired surgical first assistant so the medical part is covered. Sailing knowledge is coming along but I have no idea how to learn fixing electrical/mechanical "stuff" as well as Keith does.

A few years ago I was on a cruise from Civitavecchia to Fort Lauderdale, with several stops along the way in France, Spain, and the Canary Islands. The night we left Toulon, we hit the Mistral Winds with winds of 60 kts gusting to 70 kts, and seas 3 - 7 meters... all of which I freakin LOVED! Having done most of my seafaring in the US Navy on a fleet ballistic missile submarine... cruising smoothly under the weather, it was exciting to see what ole Mother Nature could throw at us. :)

Seeing the world and learning things through your passion. Finn learns math and entrepreneurship through his music. All of them, learning how to problem solve and function as a cooperative team. Verses reading about life locked in a classroom worried about bullying and cancel culture. Sailing, a beautiful life. Blessings!

The key to achieve this life is what Renee said at the beginning. They owned some oil and gas businesses, grew them and sold them when the time came for them to move on. Many people aspire to live in a boat and make a living out of it, but have no savings, no 2 year plan, no solid income. To achieve this huge hack on life, it's necessary to first grind and do the other stuff that's not YT friendly, while saving and planning realistically how to buy the boat, afford the constant expenses, plan the trips and then go and make it real.

I got a flashback watching Keith make his own set of brushes. In 1978-80 I was serving stateside in the Air Force, bought my first car, a 1973 Chevy Impala Custom, 350cu in with a 4 barrel carb. Shortly after buying it, the starter failed... I knew nothing about it, but figured if it's broke, what harm could I possibly do by taking it apart and looking at it... just like the fan motor, it was obvious the brushes were the problem. I had to use my bicycle to go after parts, so I went to the closest place I thought would have brushes, an appliance store. Bought the first set I found that looked close but not smaller than the set that came out... took them home and used a regular file to trim them down... It was my first car and my first attempt of any kind at auto maintenance... when I finished putting everything back together and turned the key I was never more proud and excited hearing that 350 motor rumble... Ok, got kinda long winded there, just wanted to add, those kids are miles ahead of most high school kids in the States, you can't put a price on the kind of education they're getting. The only thing they are missing would be some of the social events of high school such as dances especially a Prom... and team sports, there is a lot of value participating in team activities. All in all, I'd put their odds for success well above most people their age...

Respect on the brushes!:) Great job. We travel in an rv, I have simplisafe and cameras everywhere that send alarms to me. Also a spot gps that would tell me where the rv is if someone attempts to move it...

Nothing will ever replace this part of life that they lived growing up on the boat. Well done mom as you said all the things you learned in school but forgotten long ago.

Your kids are lucky to have had the opportunity to of had the type of education they did and that's because you are the ones that are deciding what they learn good job mom and dad yes they are getting older and that worries because at some point they may decide they don't want to sail anymore then you guys will take a different path and I just love watching you guys on UA-cam

This video! I enjoyed watching Keith retrofit larger brushes to fix the exhaust motor on the boat, I loved the Fox News bit learning about the kid’s learning real life skills. You align with my personal values that I hope I helped my kids with. I love what you are doing and wish I could do the same. Who knows maybe someday
