Dear friends, we'd love to hear about your morning routines and if you've tried bright light therapy before? I'm always nervous talking about my mental health but I hope it can help someone feel they're not alone🕯️🍁
More people should talk about their mental health. I struggled for several years after my mother passed. Hearing other people talk about their coping solutions helped me a great deal. Thank you for sharing. It's important.
I had no idea how sunshine helps our mental state until I happened up with depression. @It's A Charming Life it is a good thing for you to share this with everyone , sometimes we feel alone but there are many people that have the same problems and we dont realize it. 💜
Seasonal Affective Disorder or SAD was how it was described to me. I lived in northern Idaho, where the winters were very cold and dark too. When I went to counseling for my depression, they introduced the concept of light therapy to me. I am not exaggerating when i say it helped save my life. I agree that talking about ones mental health is a vulnerable thing, but by doing so, you help remove the stigma from it. More people are likely to get help.
Your video is lovely. Someone recently recommended a light therapy lamp since I’m having some problems with depression this season. We had two deaths in our family last year at this time and I’ve been feeling so sad and not my usual excited self. Thank you for sharing your struggles too. ❤️
My morning routine i wake early and enjoy a tea, and feed my cats, and my dog. I take my dog out for a nice walk and let him get exercise. I don't live in the paradise you do but I like my home. I like to tidy up and I love candles while I was in sleepy hollow I visited the candle shops and bought so much I sent them home ahead of me. I have a yearly visit to the sleepy hollow to spend Halloween 🎃 and be a kid for a while, I get a great deal of comfort watching your videos I appreciate life when I get out and celebrate creation. Thank you both for such lovely videos they do help. I do like to go, saddle up my horse and ride a bit. Lots of trails to ride and my dog goes to he sits in a basket in front of me. He is a little Yorkie he is no trouble
Dear Lindsay, you are both such lovely and precious people. ♥️ It was so beautiful when you prayed before your breakfast. I hope you like the soaps and candle I sent! I'm Romani (gypsy) and have had a fear of the dark since I was little. My sweet grandma told me that only old souled people are afraid of darkness and the long winter because we remember the ancient lifetimes when we didn't make it until spring. She believed we were born again and again until your soul learns all lessons, then you can stay in the Light close to God.
You're such a lovely couple. My morning has a very set routine still. Take the animals out, feed them their breakfast, have a cup of tea or coffee with my hubby, then prepare his breakfast and lunch for the day. A kiss goodbye and a moment for reading or watching a video or sitting on the porch with a tea to share a few moments with my own resident chipmunk😊 before cleanup and going out to feed my chickens. Now time for cleaning, planting those last few tulip bulbs! I hope you continue to see, live and share all those beautiful moments each of our seasons bring with us. Taking the time to listen to the chipmunk chatter, the breeze rustle the leaves and even during the peaceful winter the delicate sound of the snowflakes falling onto the fresh snow covered ground. There is so much joy in taking in even the simplest things.
You are very fortunate to have each other and it shows that you know! You both are kind in showing us positive ways to spend our days! Much respect and appreciation!
I feel like I get my fill of sun during the spring and summer. I always welcome the early evenings in winter because I wake up pretty early each day and it helps me wind down. It gives me a chance to get out and start a fire which is super soothing to my soul! 🔥
Lindsay, I know that sharing personal experiences about our mental health is not easy, especially since we so often feel completely out of control. I have suffered from C-PTSD and depression my entire life, but it wasn't until 2020 and Covid that I experienced SAD for the first time. Being an essential worker on public transit, I never saw the sun. I had never experienced anything as helpless in my life. I am so proud of you and grateful for you Sharing your experiences, as well as how you take care of yourself. 💜💜💜
Oh my dear, thank you for sharing some of your story, it isn't easy to open up about the things you feel helpless about as you said. At least we can know we're not alone (or crazy lol) 🧡
Autumn 🍁🍁🍁 greetings from New Hampshire! I'm finding pressed maple leaves in cookbooks, as I get ready to explore fall and winter recipes once again. A fond memory of a past woodland walk, as the leaves slip out of the pages. Here, we need no calendar to know that winter is approaching. A promise of snow ❄❄❄❄ in these crisp mornings. The sound of my mate, this morning, as he makes his way down the cellar stairs to stir up the stove embers before breakfast. You remind me to "press" these memories into my heart.

I am 72 and retired so my morning routine is whatever I want it to be for that day.😃 Don't be nervous to talk about your mental health. Lots of us have problems in that area and I think it helps to share. Hope the lamp helps you. Loved the video.🍂🍁❤
This is stunning photography, I have been a lot places but the falls in the east are second to none. And I too feel depressed I will be watching this. I have problems in the fall and winter., I will check out the link you provide you both have excellent taste your beloved cottage shows that, your videos are in itself calming for me. They are very well presented, you are a beautiful couple. Thank God for each other
You are right. Being outside as much as possible is the best thing you can do. I have PTSD. I have difficulty sleeping. Then when l finally sleep, it is difficult to get out of bed but l know l have to. The lamp sounds like a wonderful idea. I also practice yoga and this helps. God bless you both! Your videos are so peaceful and your husband a wonderful artist
My mornings are walking around the garden with a favorite cup of tea or coffee, enjoying the last blooms. I find this time of yr hard in the evening, 6pm feels like 9 to me. I'm so looking forward to the winter solstice and come Dec 22nd the days get longer, nights shorter every day by 2 mins.
Hello! I try many things because my stroke has made my brain not care for the gloomy months. I was also extremely Vitamin D deficient so I must take it daily now. Have you had levels checked? My Happy Lamp (from Bed, Bath and Beyond) and trying to get out of the house daily just to pick my mind up helps. November and December seem to be the hardest months. Hope these tips help!
Thanks for sharing your tips Harley, Vitamin D is so helpful and something I wish I had known about when I lived in Sweden lol it's so great you're taking care of yourself during the darker months 🕯️
My morning routine begins with prayers and Bible reading. Then shower & breakfast. I don't have SAD, but I do have anxiety and I've found that I need a regular routine to deal with it. Fortunately, I live in California so we are still enjoying sunshine & warm temperatures. 😎 Thank you for this video.
Morning routines are soo vital bc they tend to set the tone for the day..I start with a Devotinal reading and also focusing on gratitude and just being Thankful for all God has done..I don't suffer from Seasonal disorder but I do know about it and know some folks that have it..Daily excersise and getting outdoors is key for overall well being even if it's just for 30 min...I pray you feel better during this winter season when the days are short and night falls sooner..Thank you for sharing ❤
I have a light therapy box, and here in the PNW it’s needed! Thank you for the reminder. I need to to break it out. Helps a lot. Along with vitamin d and walks outside. Even in the pouring rain.
I enjoyed you video on morning routine - thanks for sharing! Love when you held hands to give thanks. Sweet. I’m enjoying your tea - so good, love the tin!
There's a lot to be said for fuzzy long underwear. I bought some a couple years ago and it allows me to enjoy the outdoors even in winter. Just getting out and about lifts the mood.
I'm happy for you to be learning how to manage your winter mental health. In Fall and Winter I am my happiest due to where I live. But summers are so hot that I pretty much stay indoors. My morning routine is the same as usual, getting up doing my morning hygiene and letting the dog out. I do what needs to be taken care of outdoors before 9am when it starts to heat up. I've learned to try and stay as busy as possible indoors with some hobbies and reading. I love the red maples. Watching you both brings such calm and peace to me.
This was such a beautiful and relaxing video. I love to watch and listen to the sounds of you two cooking. The colors on the leaves even with the rain falling is wonderful. Love the photography as well. I used to have terrible seasonal depression when I worked at a call center with no windows but now that I'm not working (I'm disabled) I have time to sit in front of a bright window for 30 minutes - an hour a day and I feel so much better. I can't afford any therapeutic light but I do believe they are very helpful. Thank you so much for this and all of your videos!
I deal with intrusive thoughts that aren’t so nice. Sometimes they are with me for a couple hours and sometimes the same thought is with me for two whole weeks. From the moment I wake up till the moment I fall asleep. They can be quite hard to manage but with God I always get through them. And my husband is also very supportive and over time has been becoming super understanding. I try to keep busy to keep my mind on other things but sometimes the intrusive thoughts are so strong and leave me paralyzed. I’m also an artist and sometimes it’s hard to work on my work bc the thoughts leave me depressed. I just recently found your channel and your videos help me get through my day and being joy to my life. Thank you ❤️
Beautiful video! It's nice to see fall content still coming out! So many people immediately shift to Christmas after Halloween now, but part of "slow living" for me is gradually shifting seasons in a more natural way.
Thanks, I couldn't agree more! November is such a Moody and beautiful month and I want to embrace that Scorpio energy. Plus when the leaves are at their peak around the cottage you have to just enjoy the shift from season to season 🧡
For my morning routine, I take my dog out first then feed her and the cats (we have three). Then I make coffee and sit at the table to drink it (being more mindful to sit rather than trying to multitask). By then, our teenagers have gotten ready and are off to school. I used to make their lunches, but they make their own now! Sometimes I love to sit on the back porch with my coffee and dog and let the sun shine on my face as it rises. 🥰 Thank you for sharing your routine and I’m also looking to get a lamp to help with seasonal depression which usually hits me right after the holidays.
Thank you for sharing your new morning routine. Lindsey, your challenges with depression and, during the increased darkness time, SAD, are things my family has stuggled with too. I think all the steps you've taken that you talked about in this video are going to help and I'm sure it will help your viewers to have some new ideas about how to cope. I take a walk every day no matter the weather and that always makes me feel better. Sending love and hugs your way.
I really enjoyed this. I have a rare opposite seasonal affective disorder that affects me me the opposite of most. I love the short, cool crisp days of autumn here in upstate New York, getting dark earlier and my second love winter. I hate spring, summer and sunshine and that does to me what others experience with darkness. It’s so hard because no one understands the depression that starts for me as winter leaves. This really touched me as we have to learn to live with what we have. Thank you for a heartfelt, beautiful video❤
Same here!! I love fall. I’m not a big fan of summer. Funny I moved to Arizona and the summers are so hot. I hibernate in the summer months and come alive when the temps start dropping.
@@wandac396I used to live in AZ so I more than sympathize with you. I moved to the Midwest with my family. I love having the seasons and can enjoy all of them now since I am out of AZ's oppressive heat.
I LOVE the marriage you guys have!❤️❤️❤️❤️ Going for walks, holding hands and creating together! It's such a rare and beautiful thing to Cherish your Spouse so much!! ❤️❤️❤️. You captured Fall so perfectly!!! I SO could understand your Depression!! I've struggled with it since I was 4 yrs old. Love your videos!! Love from Canada 🇨🇦
Hi folks, thank you for sharing. Absolutely beautiful landscape and colors. Where we are living in Hamburg Germany we are having these nice and beautiful Sommer days almost like your husband knows from back home but in the autumn and winter times we got very few hours daylight compared to the summer. Sometimes with claudy skies it feels like it's never bright daylight. First at all I dont like it and second it really makes me feel less productive and sometimes kind of "moody" plus I do sleep longer but don't feel fresh and alive in the morning. I know my vitamin d level is lower than during spring and summer because it will be checked every three months because I'm a dialysis patient since 1985 and I am taking some vitamin d in the darker month of the year. I like the idea sitting in front of a light like you are using while I'm reading or doing some leather work or whatever. I 'll check the internet if I can get one light like yours over here. I' ll let you know if I can feel a different. 🙏💡😀🕯️🍂🍁🍃🏡
Hi Michael, I very much relate to what you said from my time living in Sweden, so many cloudy days and that feeling of always being in a fog, it's hard to find the light. I wish I had known about Vitamin D supplements when we lived in Sweden but now I get my levels checked too. I hope you're able to give light therapy a try, I'd love to hear how that goes for you 🕯️
So good for you to share. We were given a light therapy box, but no instructions how to use it, so it was good to hear how you use your lamp. I begin my mornings in prayer, do some stretches, than drink coffee and read, watch a few UA-cam accounts, and eat breakfast. I have RA so it takes me a couple hours for the stiffness to leave.
Don’t feel nervous I think it’s a common thing . I think it’s important to stay busy exercise really helps when it’s too cold out I use workout videos Leslie sansome is great she keeps you motivated and routines are easy. I also like Lee Holden Qi Gong videos very easy to follow one of them is called mindfulness and I’ve got many others and they make you relaxed and calm
Thank you for sharing this was a great video. I take things for granted often and I don't take enough time to check in with my mental health enough I struggle with depression and this time of year the darkness can make for such long days. I love the slow living content and will check on the lamp I need something like this in my life 😍
Aww glad to hear you want to start incorporated self-care and slow living into your daily life! The winter can seem bleak but there's always a light in the darkness 🕯️
I luv watching and listening to ur soothing vidoes. I live in Co but hail from PA. The fall video esp filled my soul with the beauty and peace I always found in the fall of the year. Thank u for the beauty of ur video and the luv u 2 share. It touches my heart. 😊
Thank you for being so open, Lindsay. I have the opposite problem, in that I tend to get more depressed in the summer because it is too hot where I currently live to be outside for long. Outdoor time is so valuable and precious, I feel it is absolutely necessary all year round.
As always my dear friends, I am watching late at night as a way to relax and hopefully get a few hours of rest if not sleep. My mornings since you asked are always the same. I shuffle out with Impy racing between my feet or just in front to beg for a few treats and a belly rub. I then fill the kettle and put tea in my pot awaiting the boiled water to seep it in . I take my many supplements and prescribed meds during the wait and then once the tea is brewing I prepare my toast and jam. I then sit and enjoy both while catching up with friends who live in other countries while they are ending their days before fully starting my own. Each day is the same as I am a creature of habit. I watch the birds, I putter about the cottage and play with Impy and watch a few programs on tv. I try to move about or get a walk before it's once again tea time. Nothing exciting and nothing nearly as charming and romantic as your mornings , tho you do inspire.
I love to watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee or tea. Feeding the cats is a morning ritual and sending up prayers of thanksgiving for another day gifted. After breakfast I like to head to the bookstore to find treasures to keep my mind traveling throughout the slow and restful hours of winter. Sales are often and welcomed. I also shop for craft supplies on clearance. My interests are many from painting to needle.crafting. Last, but not always least, the fabric shops are places where the many quilts are waiting to be crafted. I love just sitting in the sun and listening to the quiet. Whirlwinds of leaves will at times rustle me out of a dream state and into the kitchen I go for for comfort foods to prepare for dinner. My secret to keeping seasonal depression at bay is to keep busy with varied tasks. I am careful as to what I allow myself to be subjected to. Try to keep it positive. It helps.
Our landlord has said the Japanese maple is probably over 100 years old and it is one of the biggest we've ever seen! It's feels like the protector of the cottage 🍁
Thank you for another wonderful video. I'm in long island ny we've been getting a lot of rain. The leaves are falling in so many colors. Take good care you two ❤💕.
All is lovely, the place you live, the house ( inside and outside 😊 ) , your cozy routine , the way you are enjoying time together and the so soothing sound of the rain. Thank you very much for this sweet sharing 🧡🧡🍂
Very nice filming. Love the fall colors and crispness. Morning routine? Usually I smack the alarm button, give my pillow, long, lustful, looks. Regret I didn't get to sleep until 2:30 in the morning. Stumble to the kitchen to make a cup of coffee and find a bite to eat that doesn't require cooking or dish washing. Glare at the news and curse the luck that didn't make me an heiress of some wealthy clan that has more money then they'll ever need. Rush to get dressed after my second pair of hose got a run from a snag on my finger nail and try to hurry up and open a new tube of "Blurring Primer". Usually around noon I recognize people who come into the office. (Well, maybe more like 11:30). I guess I am a night owl.
Dear ones, I live in florida where the opposite holds true. In the summer I hibernate to stay out of the scorching heat. The winter is when we get out there and enjoy the crystal clear days of no humidity. You are welcome to my cottage anytime this winter if you are depressed. My morning routine, year round is to always light a candle, brew tea and pull a card for the day. Today's card was from the lightworkers oracle and reminded me to get off the treadmill and rest. Wishing you a lovely day!
Beautiful video, I’ve found that having a routine has helped my mental health so much. Thank you so much for opening up about your struggles and the things you are doing to try and get ahead of things. You got this xx

When you were cutting the apple, it sounded like metal rubbing metal. The sounds of the kitchen, strange, but alive, functional. Thanks for sharing, today....e
I have used grow light to help me. Also a good vitamin regimen. In certain long term counties including alaska vitamin D supplements are recommended. I also seasonal eating helps to.
Lindsay this was so calming and wonderful to watch. I think I’m going to make myself that oatmeal and go take a walk this morning. I really want to create a more mindful morning routine but with kids it’s tricky!
I recently semi-retired from being a massage therapist for 15 years. I spent 15 years of my life bent over a table, putting wear and tear on my body while I cared for strangers. 8 hours a day, in a dark and windowless room. This included every weekend and it made it so hard to see others enjoying the outdoors, enjoying their weekends while I was inside working. Please don’t get me wrong, I LOVED being a therapist and helping my clients. But when it came to self care, it was always put on the back burner because after giving so much of myself to others, I had nothing left for me. I’ve probably had a total of 10 massages for myself over all these years. Deciding to semi-retire was the best decision I have ever made. I miss my clients terribly, but I have never been happier to have time for me. I’m able to give so much more to my family now, because I’m taking care of myself more. My body doesn’t ache daily and my spirit feels free. I feel so much empathy for those who work inside, with no access to outdoor light because it is so important for our psyche and spirit. I can’t thank you enough for discussing your mental health. It’s a brave thing to do but as you’ve said, it helps others like us know we are not alone. I am SO THANKFUL for these videos you create! They have helped me in more ways than you can ever know and this particular video is a reminder that I need to get into a routine as well. You are such an inspiration. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Ohmygoodness I've always wondered how that must be for professionals like you who have to spend their time in dark rooms when helping others. I'm so glad you're able to take care of yourself now.🙏
I think that might be part of my problem. I don’t really have a “self-care” morning routine. I get up and give my dog her medicine, take her out, then feed her. Then I have some time to get ready/have a quick bite to eat and drink tea or coffee and then I work (I work from home). I’m stuck in this not so great rut. The perks of the 9-5(:30) 🙄😣
Thanks for your comment, and for watching! I understand any routine can be very hard to keep doing regularly especially in the morning when it comes to balance work in the mix. I feel ya! Keep up the good work! :) say hi to your dog from us!
Lovely video of autumn. Seasonal disorder is very real. I am happy you address this during the video. I do have to ask where did you obtain the Lovely great horned round stain glass and coverlet? I am fairly new so may ask questions you have already answered. Does Jona draw and paint the Lovely post cards? I know he carves pumpkins for Halloween. Take care and happy fika.
You have such a beautiful portion of God's Creation around you...Jesus Christ can turn your darkest days into the beautiful Light of His Love for you! You seem to love to read classic books...try reading from the Scriptures...I ask you to read the book of JOHN in the New Testament. I really enjoy your charming life...I was happy to see that you blessed your food. Starting your day in God's Word and prayer will brighten your day and your mood. What a change can happen. Thank you for sharing. Hello from TEXAS!
Hello from N.C. I enjoy your videos so much and always look forward to them. They are calming. The oatmeal looks delish. What do you cook your apples in? I want to try it. Let me know how the light therapy works for you. I recently moved to North Carolina after living in South Florida for 30 years. I am really enjoying Autumn as it is my favorite season. Don't know how I will feel during winter or if it will affect me. Would be good to know if the light therapy works in case I need it. Happy holidays to both of you 🎄🎅🏼💚🤶❤🙏🏻🙏🏻
We use vegan butter for the apples and it's delicious! I hope your first winter in NC treats you well and maybe look into taking vitamin d supplements since you're from Florida. I'm from California and wish I had know about that and the lamp when I moved to Sweden!
I like to sit on my patio in the morning with my fire pit on full blast, drinking coffee, thanking Jesus for this wonderful, soothing season & for healing me. Romans 15:13- “May the God of hope fill you with all joy & peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”

Thanks for sharing your morning routine!
Thanks Audrey, I very much agree that it sets the tone for the day 🕯️
I have a light therapy box, and here in the PNW it’s needed! Thank you for the reminder. I need to to break it out. Helps a lot. Along with vitamin d and walks outside. Even in the pouring rain.
Wow thanks for sharing how the lamp had helped you!
I enjoyed you video on morning routine - thanks for sharing! Love when you held hands to give thanks. Sweet. I’m enjoying your tea - so good, love the tin!
Aw thanks, fika friend!
Dear ones - thank you for this.
Thank you Diana! It warms to read! :)
There's a lot to be said for fuzzy long underwear. I bought some a couple years ago and it allows me to enjoy the outdoors even in winter. Just getting out and about lifts the mood.
Yes, it's so true! I need to get a better pair thanks for the reminder ✨
What a lovely video! Thank you for sharing your morning autumn routine. The rain at the end was icing on the cake for me!! ❤️🥰
Aw thanks Sally, I had to include the rain!
Hobbies are so important! I'm from CA and understand the opposite side of SAD when it's too hot!
Windows are so wonderful, I'm glad you don't have to be in a dark call center now. Thanks for sharing 🧡
Self care is so important. I find that l need to welcome the day slowly and that is what l do:)
That's wonderful you do that for yourself ✨
Thank you ❤️
Sorry to hear you struggle with these thoughts too, but it sounds like you have a good support system which is so important!
That's just the way it should be done! With all the Fall elements and being grateful indeed! Beautiful... xo
Thanks Cathy! 🍁
@@itsacharminglife absolutely! We’re spoiled here in NY. We get to experience every season in it’s full, distinct glory, so why not embrace it!
Thank you for sharing your routine and I’m also looking to get a lamp to help with seasonal depression which usually hits me right after the holidays.
Yes SAD can really hit after the holidays too, your morning routine sounds very cozy!
Thanks so much, Rosemary! I'm really hoping I'll be able to get myself out for a walk every day too 🧡
Oh what a simply BEAUTIFUL share💕Thank you🌟
Thank you Brooke! Appreciate your comment! :)
Happy Autumn! Wishing you a great time :) Glad to hear you enjoy the crisp days a head. Thanks for your comment! :)
@@itsacharminglife love your video and looking forward to the next♥️
Same here!! I love fall. I’m not a big fan of summer. Funny I moved to Arizona and the summers are so hot. I hibernate in the summer months and come alive when the temps start dropping.
@@wandac396 that’s how I am, just live the cooler temps and we sure have had a very long, hot, humid summer
Aww thanks for the kind comment 🧡
Enjoying a quiet morning with a hot cup of coffee and your lovely video. Wonderful way to start my day.
Thanks for sharing your morning with us, Diane!
One good thing about living in Arizona is no daylight savings time. But I do miss the typical fall season. Especially the color change of the leaves.
Oh you don't have the daylight saving in Arizona! I did not know that. I wish we could skip that saving everywhere.
/ Jonas
It can be a little hard to understand how the lamp works but then it's easy to use!
Thanks for sharing your ideas. I love the candlelit breakfast and will try it out.
It sure helps on a cloudy day 🙏🕯️
Don’t feel nervous I think it’s a common thing .
Thanks for the tips!
I live in California, so I get excited when it’s cloudy, foggy or rainy.
I can imagine, it is a rare sight there! :)
I luv watching and listening to ur soothing vidoes. I live in Co but hail from PA. The fall video esp filled my soul with the beauty and peace I always found in the fall of the year. Thank u for the beauty of ur video and the luv u 2 share. It touches my heart. 😊
Aww it's our pleasure Nancy! 🧡
I watch Its A Charming Life Vlogs to start my Autumn days 🍁❤🥰
Aww what an honor to be apart of your morning routine 🍁
Thank you for being so open, Lindsay. I have the opposite problem, in that I tend to get more depressed in the summer because it is too hot where I currently live to be outside for long. Outdoor time is so valuable and precious, I feel it is absolutely necessary all year round.
I understand as I'm from CA and I would feel SAD in the summer there and now in the winter in NY lol
Aww I can just imagine the mornings with Impy at Muse Cottage!
💋Beautiful video! Sending you guys lots of love and light.♥️~Carli
Lots of love and light to you Carli🕯️
It helps.
Thanks for sharing, having projects definitely helps during the winter months!
Love this!! 🍁🍂 I'm so glad you were able to find something to help you with your SAD 🕯️
Thanks Melody, it's so helpful to have help 🕯️

I appreciate you sharing your anxiety issues. I will look into this lamp for my daughter.
Aw thank you and best wishes to you a fhijr daughter 🕯️
I've never seen such a large Japanese Maple. How gorgeous!
Our landlord has said the Japanese maple is probably over 100 years old and it is one of the biggest we've ever seen! It's feels like the protector of the cottage 🍁
I have to say I recently found your channel and I love you guys!!! You are one of my new favorites!

Thank you for another wonderful video. I'm in long island ny we've been getting a lot of rain. The leaves are falling in so many colors. Take good care you two ❤💕.
The leaves have been so beautiful this November!

Aw thanks, it's our pleasure 🙏🕯️
Thanks for your comment! We've all been there, now and then it is easy to give in for the night owl in ourselves! Don't blame ya! ;) Stay safe!
Nicely done! Sharing a bit of your life helps generate warm and happy feelings, as we enter winter here in Idaho. ☺️
Thanks for watching! 🕯️
Just beautiful!!!! We have a chipmunk friend too - named Chippy!

Paint a summer scene mural in your place if you can.... something to gaze at...🙏🧡💛🌅
We have an eternal autumn bedroom that helps 🍁
I live in Florida it’s very bright 😎 No depression here! 😃
How nice! Enjoy the sunshine! :)
Thanks for sharing your morning routine!
Just beautiful
Thank you Linda! :) Appreciate it very much!
Beautiful video you guys are both awesome!
Thank you Angela! It means a lot to hear this. Thanks! :) Stay safe!

Good to know about this lamp. Thank you
My pleasure, I feel like it's going to make a big difference for me this winter 🕯️

Thanks for watching! 🕯️
When you were cutting the apple, it sounded like metal rubbing metal. The sounds of the kitchen, strange, but alive, functional. Thanks for sharing, today....e
Glad you watched the video and thanks for your comments! Be safe! :)
by the way, the metal sound you heard, maybe our apples are rich in iron? ;) no i'm just kidding! We will look into that.
@@itsacharminglife I think it was just the sound of the knife cutting an apple that was very crisp!
Very interesting, this might wrk for my son who has Anxiety
It certainly can help improve your mood and depression and anxiety!
I have used grow light to help me. Also a good vitamin regimen. In certain long term counties including alaska vitamin D supplements are recommended.
I also seasonal eating helps to.
Glad for your tips! Thank you for sharing! :) Be safe!
Lindsay this was so calming and wonderful to watch. I think I’m going to make myself that oatmeal and go take a walk this morning. I really want to create a more mindful morning routine but with kids it’s tricky!
I can't imagine it being a challenge with children but your mornings with your wee hobbits always looks so cozy!
Great vlog 🎃🍁🎃🍁🎃🍁
Glad you enjoyed it! 🍁
Thanks for asking, Jonas does paint all the artwork for our postcards! The stained glass owl was found at Goodwill🦉
Thank you Faye for your comment! We appreciate it! Blessings to Texas!
I hope it helps! If it does, I may get one too! I know many who suffer.
I'll try to do a follow-up of how it works for me!
Light therapy is good - also look into vitamin D deficiency and seasonal affective disorder.
I do take Vitamin D supplements ✨☺️
@@itsacharminglife thank you so much for the reply and information. I will look for a good vitamin D.
I’m late seeing this video and wanted to know if that lamp helps? Love your channel ❤️
The lamp was helpful, though I wish I had been able to keep a more consistent routine in using it.
💚💚💚
How beautiful this life you lead. ...e
Sounds so cozy 🕯️
Take those onion peels, pour hot water over them and let steep. Drink, no onions taste. Will help you feel better...love ya both...e
Interesting! I can see how onions would have a lot of good benefits! Thanks!
Remember, you are not alone when you have Christ in your life..He can help you through each day!
Thanks Faye! :)
