Join us as we adventure in our own backyard to Garibaldi Lake.
Garibaldi Provincial Park resides within British Columbia, Canada. Some would say Garibaldi Lake is Canada's Bluest Lake, many lakes in Canada are glacier-fed but this one is nothing short of amazing. With less than ideal weather trying to attempt this hike in the early fall, we knew the mountain would challenge us quite a bit, but none of us were ready to wake up to snow the next morning.
Getting to Garibaldi Lake is no small task, leave a comment and let us know what the most physically demanding adventure you have experienced?
Filmed on location by Parker Hueser, Justis Cooper, Ben Czegeny

I was loving the vlog then you mentioned Ryker's dad and I loved it even more if that is possible and got emotional. This was an awesome hike. I can totally relate to how hard that can be. The first time I ever did a serious hike I found myself going up Mount Kenya when I wasn't ready had nasty altitude sickness and a hip injury but loved every second of it. The best 30 min nap I have ever had was beside Lake Ellis that is 4000 or so m above sea level. Loved every minute of this vlog.

Straight hike to the garibaldi lake was about 20km up and down with just about 950m of elevation (tracked with garmin 64st)... This was a pretty easy hike compared to the 10km joffre lakes hike because it climbs up smoothly without any "real" steep sections. I aint hiked the Black tusk so this will be a different Story. The best experience/feeling that I ever had during a hike was at lake O'Hara and there on the yukness ledges alpine circuit towards the lake oesa trail

They probably shoot their video with a flat profile ( I'm not sure which one, it looks like they carry Canon & Sony but I'd guess Cine4 ) they have transition packs, maybe they use after effects, but it's possible to achieve without it. @@sundayfundayz Yeah my last backpacking trip two years ago my pack was too heavy (thanks to camera gear and a laptop, etc.) and I tweaked my back a little as a result. Nothing too serious but made it even tougher. All part of the fun of experiencing the rugged wilderness.

Not everything is video editing but rather pass the sensation of the moment and this they did very well!
in relation to video and color editing I wouldn't change anything. The video is perfect!
