- how to hike + camp Garibaldi Lake & Panorama Ridge (how DIFFICULT is it?) the panorama ridge hike has one of the most scenic views in garibaldi provincial park. the panorama ridge viewpoint overlooks garibaldi lake near whistler bc. this hike takes you to garibaldi lake, garibaldi lake campground, taylor meadows campground, views of black tusk, and the panorama ridge viewpoint.
Visitors will need to reserve free day-use passes ahead of time to visit panorama ridge/garibaldi lake. The passes can be reserved one day (starting at 7am) in advance of the trip, and can be reserved online. If you have a camping reservation, a separate day-use pass is not required.

Nice hike. Where do you put your backpack before you hike up to Panorama Ridge. Is it safe? At your campsite? Must you pay for it? Where do you buy a filtering device? What brand is good? Thanks for sharing!
We left our gear at our tent pad. Yes - you have to pay a small fee to reserve a camping spot. All my backpacking gear including the water filter is linked in the description! Thanks for watching :)

Would you guys do this hike again? It's my dream to do this hike but I've never really hiked before. I've only done Joffre Lakes when I visited BC. I would need people to hike with and I have a loooot of work to do to get in shape for soemthing like this 😂
if you can do Joffre you just have to pace yourself for Garibaldi Lake. Panorama Ridge you have to camp for though, it's better enjoyed that way
