My friend uses hers for her daughter's sleep overs. She cuts grocery bags down to size, drops one in the bowl koozie, drops a coffee filter on top of that and fills the bowls with popcorn. Each of the girls have their own bowl of popcorn. I love the idea. Thank you for the free PDF pattern. God bless you and your family always.
I just found your tutorial and after trying several, I am thrilled to have found this one!!! I am making one now! Thank you for this tutorial and pdf. Your pattern is by far the best one. I didn't want to buy another one project (expensive) ruler.
Thank you Lorrie! I loved how you trimmed the batting down after cutting to size to keep it out of the seam allowance. I am going to start using this method for bags also because I can never seem to cut the batting smaller. It always end up in the seam allowance no matter hw careful I am lol my friend wants cozies for her birthday next week, love your tutorial. ⭐️
Made some for my husband and I and did not care for all the work I had to do to it and the top stitching was hard to do with the batting and material and I graded the seams too. Like yours and will use it for my son, been waiting to find one to use besides the one I used. Thank You Stay safe and see you soon.
Excellent tutorial!! Love it! Detailed and easy to follow; as a tutorial should be. Looking forward to making these for gifts. Thank you for the pattern, greatly appreciate it.
Love this pattern! This will help me get them done quicker. I always have to remind myself that only 100% cotton fabric, 100% cotton batting, and 100% cotton thread must be used for these koozies or they will pop and crack in the microwave. Thank you again.
THANK YOU so much for your tutorial and the free pattern. What a fun project. I made 6 so far and can't wait to make more for my lil' online shop. Subscribed to your channel :) You are such a good teacher
I want to thank you for a great video...I like that you added the extra stitching (total of 8) I've made some bowl cozies watching other video and this one is better. AND the free pattern is a plus, no greed, just about sharing. THANK YOU!!!
I’m so excited that I found you 😃 you give excellent directions. Thank you for the free pattern and the great tutorial. I will be making quite a few of these for Christmas.
Thank you Lorrie for another Awesome video, I Love all of them, you are so Great about explaining it step by step, I have made Bowl Koozie's but didn't have a pattern to follow can't wait to try this one.
I have watched about a dozen tutorials for this - yours is, by far, the best! Any suggestions on how to turn this into a plate Koozie? Or do you have a template or tutorial for one that fits a plate? THANK YOU!!!!
Thank you for the free pattern & great video!! I'm wondering what size bowl this will fit (ounces). Your Fiestaware bowl looks very small. I'm thinking my soup bowls might be too large. I may have to enlarge the pattern. Thank you bunches!
I wanted to say thank you for the free pattern! It is really gracious of you to share . It makes everything so much easier. I saw someone had trouble printing the pattern and I did too when I was using my phone but once I went to the desk top it worked fine. I've printed stuff from my phone many times but maybe a PDF isn't doable. Just thought Id share -may help someone who isn't very techy either. :)
Thank you for the pattern and great tutorial. I wanted a smaller size; how would you recommend I cut the pattern to make it closer to a 9" or 10" cozie?
Wrap and Zap seemed to be better quality batting. When I tried the warm and natural cotton batting it was so much more thin and less heat / cold resistant. I needed to add an extra layer of cotton batting to get it to my liking.
I have been making these for yrs. I love that you have a pattern, this will make this so much easier than what I end up doing. Thank you so much. I have subscribed to your channel and will look for you on facebook. I don't have instagram
Hi I used your pattern and loved how it went together. You are a good teacher. I had trouble doing top stitching and wondered if you ever used a walking foot??
I am so going to make one and see how it goes. If I master it then I will making for holiday gifting at my nieces favorite things party. Super Cute and thanks for reminding me about it.
Thank you Lorrie (love the name) for sharing your genius idea - the template makes it so much easier & saves time. I've made 40 bowls using 10"x10" fabric/batting and it was so time consuming to have to mark all the darts lines. your template will make things go much faster! i used the Wrap & Zap batting.
@@LorrieNunemaker I have made so many by marking the darts..and wow, your way looks so much easier...where can I buy the tmplate ??.Ill keep lookiing, but have not found it yet..
I really like your template. I tried to make one out of stock paper but your template looks professionally done. Can you tell me how I can purchase a template like yours? I like the thickness of it. It looks solid. Thx
I made this to fit a standard bowl. If you want one to fit a plate which wouldn’t need to have the bowl shape, you would need to basically trace your plate ?
thank you so much Lorrie, how do i custom the size of my plates to this pattern? (i am writing it in the middle of the video so may b it is already showed on the video). thanks again, and stay safe! bless.
I would love to make a much larger version of this for serving bowls and also come up with a square version for my little square casserole dishes as well. Hmm time to put the thinking cap on
Thank you so much for the template it makes it easier to do...I watch a lot if your videos you are very good at explaining what to do and I love the extra tips that you give...is there anyway that you could do a pdf file for the round and scallop bowl koozie for the ones that don't have the cricut?...or can these be downloaded? Again thank you
oooh ... i can see this with a lace or ruffle edging - and/or fabric to match your dishes - or bone china. nice gift, if you know the person's china pattern. Thank you! This is very nice - and easy.
Just cut a square 11x11, make a dart on the center of the sides using her template as a guide. The onlly difference will be in the size of your square, not the placement or size of the darts. I hope this helps.
Hi Lorrie. First, thank you for this wonderful video. I was wondering if you would share what your hard template is made out of. Is it balsa wood? TIA, Debbie
I don’t have a computer I have iPhone 13 Pro and can’t download a zip file. Can you make it all into pdf file so that I can save it ir print it thanks.
Love the pattern. Makes it so much easier to turn the material. I learned a lesson to not use material that is a little thicker. Broke my needle, darn it. I see you have the rounded and the scalloped design. Do you those in PDF also? Thanks.

Lorri your products are so much nicer than others posted. Also, thank you for the freebies
I'm new to sewing and computer. This is really wonderful. Much easier for me than to understand the pattern I received from a friend.
I loved the ease of the tutorial. It came out great, but lots of details to follow. Thanks.

have made these awhile ago I needed a refresher. Love your template. thanks

My pattern took 2 pages
Thank you for the pattern and great tutorial. I wanted a smaller size; how would you recommend I cut the pattern to make it closer to a 9" or 10" cozie?
make sure to use cotton thread for sewing...micro wave won't like polyester
Great video, love the way you show how to make these Cozies, I was afraid to try one.
Thank you for the detailed tutorial. Looks pretty easy. I will make a few now for gifts.
Your pattern is so easy
made a bunch of the 12” for both microwaves and popcorn n did a 20” for popcorn .. tnk u!

Hi I tried my dual feed walking foot and boy it was a breeze to sew the top stitching. I made 4 so far. Thank you for the pattern and instructions
Lovely Finnish 🌼
Wonderful tutorial. What is the standard bowl size?
Hi I used your pattern and loved how it went together. You are a good teacher. I had trouble doing top stitching and wondered if you ever used a walking foot??
You can absolutely use a walking foot. I typically don’t but just because I’m too lazy to switch it lol
Kuuzy?? K-ooo-zy! Haha
Thanks for the PDF!!!! 💜
I’ve made a bunch of these for gifts. Great tutorial! 👍🏻
You are so easy to fallow. Thank you so much for all you do. I’m going to make this. Because you made it so easy.

My favorite.

May i ask what kind of topper fabric is microwave safe? Any 100% Cotton works?
I would love to make a much larger version of this for serving bowls and also come up with a square version for my little square casserole dishes as well. Hmm time to put the thinking cap on
Can this pattern be decreased so I could use 10" squares?
Thank you so much!!!
Love it!
Does the fabric need washed before putting them together?

The warm and natural has a polypropylene in it...does that not melt in the microwave?
Wow cool.Thank's for this video.
I also couldn't download it. But I'd love to have it!
Can u give the sizes for a bigger bowl

What thread does everyone use? Also I think you should sell the wood templete like you have..
Thank you for sharing Lorri.
Love watching your videos I'm am waiting for someone to discuss how to make one for an odd shaped bowl
Thanks so much!
Great job and thank you for the freebee!👍😍
