Neil - I slowed this down and picked out all of the licks for the short solo and the extended solo. Question - where did those licks come from? There are some beautiful open string stuff, some bluesy elements and even some jazz like note choices. Are these your licks or are you channeling someone else? Jack - Moody Guitar Straps
I think Brent Mason played on the original recording with a Baritone guitar tuned to A and capoed. He emailed me about it a long time ago but I have lost it since. He also played on Lee Ann Womac's A Little Past Little Rock. The baritone really set the riffs off I think. But if a singer is going to use higher keys a standard guitar is ok. Good video.
Man that was the coolest. That's my goal to play country telecaster style.sounds so awesome. Thank u for the video, makes me more determined.
That is some killer kountry geetar playin rat there..... :)

sounds about right that low A stuff is not possible on a guitar tuned to concert tuning.
Very nice work on this fantastic tune. I am trying to find the solo for Anywhere by Sara Evans., Any ideas, anyone???
Great job! Do you have a tab by chance?
Great job. I wish the video was a little clearer so I could see those licks!
