A few mistakes in every episode... BUT let's be fair, the show is made to be a glimpse into the complex methods we use in manufacturing, not as an industrial reference document.
The dental tech is believe it or not old. With regards to crowns, the dentist does what he needs to, then uses a dental camera to take a series of images. That tooth and void space got into CAD/Cam and the dentist makes a couple of adjustments. The black goes into a machine and is fired. Then it gets a soft fit and he makes a couple of adjustments basically regarding the fit around the other teeth and the result is a crown that you will never be able to identify again.
The gto was build in the sixties. But you are right. There are many cars that sold for much more then 5.5M£ in the last years. This video how ever is from then nineties or so.
Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view!" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment?
The show is the most British thing I've ever seen. From investing so much to restore an old Jaguar who the hell would do that other than a Brit. Also example of fixing bad teeth only to show that they still look terrible. You show so many stereotypes in this video all you're missing from this episode now is how it's made tea.
@@danhammond8406 Resto expert will use patch panels from donor cars or hand shaped replacements, lead is no better than bondo for a proper resto. You end up with a Bondo Buggie or a Lead Sled.
@@ItsMrAssholeToYou I'm aware lead was used in the factories for imperfections back in the day, if the problem was on the roof they would just slap a vinyl top on and send it out the door. This is something else entirely isn't it, does the proud owner have to make sure no one gets to close with a magnet lest his restoration be branded a Bondo Buggy. If it is done right it is money well spent.
That's a funny looking V6! The British clearly had some clever engineering to make a V6 look like a straight 6.
Who else forgets to give it a thumbs up sometimes because you're so into the video?
Quality English workmanship... I chuckled when he said that
Yea.....I did too! Lol
The who restoration project is Of good quality and The price of the quality they can have done is worth the money
Great vid! But restoration is misspelled in the title :)
He calls it a 4.2 litre V6 engine. It's a straight 6. I think his writers need to do their research. A few mistakes in there. :\
I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing that mistake!
The scripts to this series are obviously written by people with limited knowledge of engineering.
As further proof as to Jaguars downfall. This is the tip of the spear of British engineering.

@@blacksheepgargoyle i agree
That is the straightest v6 I have ever seen..
by chocolate factory you mean 'Nutella' factory, right?
British workmanship. British teeth known for their estethics world wide.
The jag restoration is awesome! And germans have no word for "that'll do" the germans do everything to its fullest
So these guys are my goat-to guys for fine kashmere scarfs.
Dentists don't make crowns, dental technicians in the lab make crowns and other types of restorations!
Beautiful car
That chocolate factoryachinery is unreal
Indeed. The Jarmaker can make an awesome Hollywood movie. How about calling it “The Jamaican Jarmaker” ?

Very important to be able to spell.
Restoration maybe.
It's spelled right where the production was made.
Very disappointed! I thought 'Car restauration' would be about preparing cars to be eaten.
Lol

Time to get those bottom teeth fixed...
You DO know - it's spelled r-e-s-t-o-r-a-t-i-o-n don't you !
I thought there was something weird.
It's a European spelling. Similar to how color is spelled "colour" and how airplane is spelled "aeroplane".
hmmmmmm 4.2 v6??????????
Her lady bits. When you're hurting so badly that you forgot about the toothache.
Can this guy stop calling everyone an engineer but rather just call them mechanics. I don't say I went and got the oil changed by an engineer

14:00 original name Kashmir wool not cashmere and it only comes from kashmir land sheeps not as showing in this documentary they all synthetics
Abid al yousef Kashmir is a location. And undercoat hair is far from synthetic. Cashmere is the proper name, and it comes from goats, not sheep.
cant download videos.why?
German restoration expert used lots of Lead and Bondo, owner should get his money back
Lead is an old way of correctly fixing body work. Bondo is not
