That rapid cooling does not make the metal softer, it makes it harder. I don’t know why they said it makes it flexible, the video shows the before and after too.
It reduces the tension in the metal making it less brittle and less prone to snapping/breaking. So technically flexible I guess but I think that's what they meant they just bumbled the explanation.
Nothing better than to know that people that have been walking around a farm, has also stomped all over your herbs, that you sprinkle all about the food that you and your family are going to be eating, yum

After quench-hardening (high temperature, followed by plunge into oil bath), there's an additional "anealing" process (heating to medium temperature, slow cooling) that reduces internal strains, making the metal more flexible. This video is missing footage of the second step, and they've taken the description for anealing and applied it to the footage they have of the quench-hardening process. Very sloppy!
You'd think a series like this would run the clips past somebody with an engineering background but it seems they don't bother. I've lost count of the number of times they've got tempering arse about face or confused soldering, brazing and welding.

Then just a couple of weeks time to make money and off they go again. Not to mention the safety factor, as I said, by taking it apart and rebuilding it some 10 times a year. There's all the working hours for the personnel, the cost of the water, cost of transport. And then I'm not even talking about insurance and probably other things as well. These are not the kind of fairground attractions that should be moving around in my opinion.
Normally fairs like that charge by the ride, and when you can pack 6 in a car and have multiple cars running at all times, the money can roll in quickly. Especially since they are likely to go places that don't have fixed amusement parks nearby or to areas with the population is less likely to be able to afford all day passes to a park. People can just roll up, pay for a few rides, then head home.

You should probably not read any governmental standards on how much insect and rodent urine, feces, body parts and other toxic contaminants are legally allowed to in foods. This is especial true of fresh and so called natural or organic and "farm to table" foods. Can you spell E coli. The less a food is processed the greater the likelihood of "natural" contaminants. Of course the more it is processed the worse nutritionally it is. So there is no winning. Enjoy your lunch.

Nothing is torn. It's assembled and disassembled. As long as you follow safety measures there should be no problems. Does that mean you wouldn't travel by road, train, plane ? They depend upon periodic maintenance.

Wrong. Mobile rides have been deemed a little more dangerous then fixed rides, based on injury and deaths per year.

When you see workers walking on 26 meter high structures without railing and without safety gear you know they're saving every penny on safety.
