Ok speaking as someone who lives with both a wrangler and new bronco, the doors are easier to store (to a degree) but definitely NOT easier to remove. The frameless design makes it a lot harder if not impossible for it to be taken off by one person, because you can’t get a proper grip to lift it safely. And while it’s nice they can fit in the trunk, weve never done it because it makes no sense. Typically we leave the doors off/on for a season so long term storage is a bigger concern. And with the Jeep doors we can hang them on the garage walls by the window frame, making them much more practical than the bronco doors. And I agree with the mirrors, but I have aftermarket ones on the Jeep that solve the problem

Wranglers have been in production for a couple decades now and have proven themselves and continued to as an off-road vehicle. They are THE MOST modifiable vehicle on the market. They are built with the solid intention of being an off-road vehicle. Do not expect it to drive like a beauty on the road.

Besides, I used to own a 4WD Chevy Trailblazer and took it off road on occasion until I got stuck on the beach one day and realized I’m taking $28,000 (at the time) off-road doing whatever damage for an uncomfortable ride. I’m running stock axles with a 4.5” lift, 33s, SYE with Adam’s driveshaft, and Truetrac in the front. All work done by me. I’m maybe $6k in parts for the build and paid $8k for the Jeep.
I live in the desert and take it down shit that would make the pavement princesses with their Rubicon JLs on 40s cry. I’m not talking about posers. Everything in life that’s cool has more posers attached to it than there are real MFers out there. 4 Runners are cool but you aren’t getting down the Jeep trails that we run with stock axles. We just drug a guy out of the pits of hell last summer who tried it in a Montero. Guy had lots of money in the thing but there are inherent shortcomings that you aren’t going to make up without spending tons of cash and /or labor. Same with the 4Runner.
Might as well start with a Jeep. I also really hope we are talking the 90’s generation 4Runner at least. These newer ones? Built by playskool.

How about history of each? Keep has a history going back to WW2 and has been building on that since. The original Bronco evolved into more of a full size SUV before being cancelled and then brought back after Ford studied the Jeep and copied its capabilities with a few improvements. The engines on both? Both have their issues but the Bronco has a reputation of failing rather early in its life while the Penestar has issues later in its life usually due to certain parts. That being said, Ford made the Bronco to compete with the Wrangler market while Jeep has been going its own way from the beginning.

Love the look of the Bronco exterior, but was shocked to see how cheap the interior looked and felt in person, not to mention the garish interior color combinations.
Also, until Ford adds an option to have the entire top roll back with the push of a button while driving on the highway, the lack of a Sky One Touch style top will always be a deal breaker for me.
Lastly, the price (or at lease the lease deals) are absurdly expensive for what you're getting. While Wranglers are wildly expensive as well, you can get a great deal on a 4xe after credits, rebates and other promos and even better lease deals.

I can see the Jeep enthusiasts are on here at full charge just annihilating the Bronco. Sure, the Wrangler has its advantages but for me, the Bronco looks and drives so much better. I've driven several JK and JL Wranglers and I don't get how so many people put up with their poor driving characteristics since many just buy them as daily drivers and never actually take them off-road. They're noisy and rattly, they can't maintain a straight line since it's a brick in the wind, you're right on top of the dash since it's so thin, and the seats are firm. The Bronco fixes all of that with proper on-road driving dynamics when you're not driving it off-road. It's fairly comfortable for what it is. And the 60s retro-modern styling can't be beat. They're much cooler than a Jeep IMO.
