My favorite memories of Lake Louise: I walked very fast from parking lot to see it, then turn around to run back to my parents and lead them the way. Since I learned the lake would be on the left after a bunch of trees, I purposely blocked my parents' views to the left till reaching the spot where the whole lake is exposed. BAM, I turned their shoulders 90 degrees then to let them see what's in front. My mom literally gasped and screamed of shock of joy. She wasn't prepared at all for that level of beauty. We rent a boat thing right there and spent many hours again around the lake afterwards.
I drove the whole trip from Calgary to Banff, Jasper for a week since my parents don't drive. I didn't feel tired at all because of the breathtaking views along the way.
Banff is one of my favorite places I have ever visited so far! I still remember that drive from Banff to Jasper like it was yesterday!! I literally cried because it was SO beautiful!!
I just got back from Jasper-Banff. Spent 5 days in Jasper and it was stunning. You need to go back and do the amazing trails up there! I agree with Lake Louise; I didn't enjoy it as much because of the crowds, and I went at 8 pm! I can't imagine how crazy crowded it must be during the day. Was not a highlight, but it was a must-do.
jasper is my home.. explore jasper park lodge, maligne canyon, medicine lake, cruise in maligne lake going to spirit island... check out the jasper rock & jade shop in town... and many more
Hi lala, I've just got booked up to come in December for holiday, 3 nights in Banff then 3 nights Fairmont jasper, then last 3 nights in Fairmont lake louise. I've watched a few videos on it but haven't seen as many videos about these locations in the winter, could you offer me any advice on best things to do? I wouldn't want to miss a thing
When I was younger, every yr for 10 yrs my buddies and I went to Banff/Jasper. AWESOME! Sept is the best, no tourists or kids. Try rent mountain bikes and biking around! Don't forget Canmore even better to stay.
September is no longer considered shoulder season, only until the last week of the month does it start to slow down. It's not as busy as the August Long Weekend, but it's still busier than most locals remember Septembers being.
@@drewskinator0076 It's very variable, it can be very warm and then snow a few days later. The closer to October you get, the cooler it'll get, generally.
Beautiful !!!! I have been to a few countries around the world and done a few road trips. I guess nothing beats the raw beauty of the Vancouver - Calgary Road trip through Jasper & Banff National Parks !!!! Wish to be there again.
Great video! Makes me feel so lucky that I live so close to such a beautiful area. You need to do a second trip and make a part 2 but spend all your time in the Icefields Parkway and Jasper. As an Albertan born and raised, I've ran into so many out-of-province and international travelers who all have something in common with your video...they regret not putting enough time into their schedule for the Icefields and Jasper.
Hi Tina, I'm sorry for bothering! I would love to hear more about how to get more easier to Jasper from Vancouver or Alberta. I will travel this December and I'm trying to figure out my itinerary. Thank you 🙏🏼
Banff, Lake Louise, Canmore and Jasper are awesome! Whenever I represent legal clients in Canmore, Banff and Jasper courts, I get to marvel at the heavenly beauty around!
@@Noahvde great video, but the only thing I would have recommended is that you went all the way to the Ink Pots after Johnston Canyon...one of the best spots on my whole trip there. There was NOBODY on that trail!
I live in Canmore 15min from Banff and better view of the rockies too! Yes I agree, just subscribed💕 love your cinematography, started with your Vancouver vlog and more. Keep it up bro, more travels!
It is definitely gorgeous. I lived and worked in Canmore, Banff and Jasper for about 5-6 years and I loved out...I remember hiking in Jasper to Pyramid Lake several times to Jasper and also hiking in other spots around Jasper....

Who is still watching this beautiful video in 2021? Me...... Thank you very much. I will be starting my trip there tomorrow. This is so good to watch this video.
My family has been going there every summer for the last few years. We spend about 10 days there, with most of our time in Jasper. Last year we also spent a few nights in Banff, but we find Jasper to be more enjoyable - quieter, and less busy. This coming summer after Jasper we will be spending a few days in Panorama. I love it in the Rockies, and my two kids can't get enough. Great video, dude.
Great video and information, three of my friends and I are planning a trip to Banff area next summer. We are childhood friends and now in our late 40’s. Thank you for posting this video!!
Just found your channel and I’m so happy I did. Thank you and your friends/family for such thorough film and travel tips you’ve shared from your journeys.
I live east of jasper a couples hours, love living in Alberta. Beautiful prairies, mountains, lakes fishing. Jasper and Banff are the pride of my province. That and biiiig oil baby !!!!
Went to Lake Louise and Johnston Canyon recently, it was winter and completely frozen and white. So weird seeing these places in the summer without snow and ice!
OMG reading the comments!!!!!! I'm sitting at my kitchen window and can see the rockies right outside. I am BLESSED to live and work in the area and EVERYTIME I come into the mountains I take a big cleansing breath, it is my Heart Home, no doubt! Enjoy the magic of it! Wow, such an amazing video and thank you for sharing! Watching your video reminded me of my trip to Banff! And driving through icefield parkway was so beautiful and I ended up doing it twice! My favorite was Moraine Lake- I fell in love with that place so I ended up visiting that place 3 times. Peyto Lake was my second favorite and luckily I took an additional hike from the viewpoint and I'm glad I did that because it was a less crowded and amazing view. I did miss Johnston Canyon and I hope I get to visit it on my next trip and this time I would probably like to spend 2 weeks up in the Rockies!!!
I took my family on a trip to Jasper, then we went Banff and from there we went to drumheller it was an awesome trip. We're going back this year to take in different sites.
Thanks a lot for this video and tips on places to visit! My favourite spot so far is Mount Paget Fire Cabin Lookout. It was amazing!! Not a single person around. So beautiful and peaceful.
Great video. I did a pretty similar trip last June too. Though the timing wasn't quite right (still some snow about, lakes frozen, and Morraine Lake was half empty and looked nothing like it did while you were there). I'll definitely have to go back sometime. I also second booking places in advance for anyone reading this. I booked 3 months in advance and stayed in hostels and motels, and even then it was hard to find affordable accommodation. I couldn't find anywhere in Jasper, so stayed an hour beyond there in Valemount, and went back to finish exploring around Jasper and that end of the Icefields Parkway the next day (which I also stopped on as much as I could).
This video made me smiled so hard. The cinematography is out of the world. Makes me want to revisit Banff. The last time I was there, it was covered in snow. Miss your “Noah Vde” intro.
Noah, this is amazing footage! I've been to Banff, Moraine, Lake Louise and the Icefields and they are some of my favorite places in the world! Your shots make it look very appealing. Actually one of the most beautiful spots in Banff , especially in the afternoon is Lake Minnewaka. It’s not as crowded and has lots of space and super beautiful. There is even a boat ride. I don’t get why many people who visit Banff don’t go here. It’s so close to the city ... and so beautiful and is a must see .. I would not call any video a guide to Banff if it doesn’t have lake Minnewanka on it .. sorry.
Bit of a miserable comment hey? I could say that about 2 dozen spots in the park. But these lads were doing a road trip. They picked some good spots but obviously not all the spots. I'm glad you like Minnewanka, but there's no need to shit on people because they didn't go there.

You need to stay at least 1 week here to do a lot of activities. Hope you guys come back.
My wife and I went to Banff and Jasper last June/July for two weeks. Best trip of our lives!!!!! We wanted to go to Yoho but couldn't find time. SO MANY THINGS TO DO!!
Drewskinator 007 we went the last week of June through first week and a half of July. Certain areas like Moraine lake, lake Louise, the Columbia Icefield, etc were crowded. But we got up at 4am everyday to go to those, so we missed the BIG crowds. One of our favorite hikes was Hector lake. My wife and I were the only ones there. It was 4:30am and it was the most peaceful hike/lake we’ve ever been to. The trailhead is not even marked, and if it weren’t for the AllTrails app we wouldn’t have been able to even find it
Drewskinator 007 but, the weather at the time we went was amazing. 40s at night and 65 during the day. Until you get to certain elevations it can get down to 30-40 degrees during the day. Loved it!!!
My favorite memories of Lake Louise: I walked very fast from parking lot to see it, then turn around to run back to my parents and lead them the way. You need to stay at least 1 week here to do a lot of activities.
Hope you guys come back.
Hello; i would like to discuss an itinerary via email
I'm planning on going out to bc and alberta for a few weeks next year after i finish uni (in the uk). this just makes me all the more excited
im coming to canada next year! gonna explore all these beautiful places.. cant wait😍
Thanks for the tour Bro! We're on our way there too for a 5 days tour. We live in Manitoba but never gone that far yet haha
My wife and I went to Banff and Jasper last June/July for two weeks. Best trip of our lives!!!!! We wanted to go to Yoho but couldn't find time. SO MANY THINGS TO DO!!
Was it very busy? Im planning on going in late July of next year
Drewskinator 007 we went the last week of June through first week and a half of July.
Loved it!!!
Canada 🇨🇦 is Majestic
It’s good and fun time to do the trip with friends. Bucket list checked
Thanks for the video. We are going there soon this summer.
What a wonderful nature !!
banff lake is insane. I love your style of video 😍
It truly is! Thanks so much!
