It's very important what you do, thank you so much. I feel like having a different emotional default is one the biggest hurdles in gaining thorough understanding standing and real comprehension of actualizing autism by the public, is this a good general understanding of autism for the public in large?
Thank you for another great year of insights. Hope you have a Merry Christmas or Happy Holiday (choose whichever one you prefer!) Hope to see you again next year with some more insightful and informative videos. And again, Thank you for your work.
Pam's Stories For Humans - I frequently listen to radio while watching/listening to UA-cam videos and manage both equally well. I am currently watching this video and taking in what Paul is saying while also listening to a BBC Radio 2 broadcast that I enjoy.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Very interesting! I have been noticing that I can focus better or get past inertia if I have something else playing at the same time, but I do go back and forth and sometimes have to stop the UA-cam video or podcast and finish up what I’m doing, if it takes more concentration.
That question about "can you tell the truth" is interesting because I've been caught out not "telling the whole truth" about something many times more than the opposite. I'm not sure if it's because I may be "fawning" i.e. saying something that the other person wants to hear out of insecurity or saying what I believe is the truth, but I struggle to put the concept in my mind into appropriate words and end up using words that could be used or implied to mean something else. Anyone else experience this?
Depends what you mean by that. Most traits of autism aren't unique to autism; autism is when those traits are so numerous they reach a critical mass that impairs social function. There are several other conditions (ex: ADHD, OCD, PTSD) that have enough symptom overlap with autism that there can be diagnosis confusion or cormorbidity.
Thank you for the wonderful work you do! So many important subjects shared in such a nice and personal way. 👍😊

You could have your moderator gather questions, send them to you and start with those till people log on 🤷♀️ I missed it 😢

I bought the tea time right when this video ended
So handsome 🥳
My biggest problem so far in life is communication issues! ☹️
@9:44 I'm working online right now while listing to this "podcast."
I think I have pretty much the same vestibular issues that Paul does.
What is the best way to meet a girl/guy for a date? Online?
Being yourself
NOT online

Hello
Is there such a thing as borderline autism?
Depends what you mean by that.
Most traits of autism aren't unique to autism; autism is when those traits are so numerous they reach a critical mass that impairs social function.
There are several other conditions (ex: ADHD, OCD, PTSD) that have enough symptom overlap with autism that there can be diagnosis confusion or cormorbidity.
@@jliller I have some autistic traits but not enough to qualify for a formal diagnosis.
I enjoyed the Tea Time 🫖 even though for some reason I was very nervous and feeling emotional! Thanks for hosting it.
