Looks amazing on you. I have the 214270 and I prefer the taper on the bracelet vs. on the 40mm as I only have small wrists. Wear yours with pride and never sell it! Stunning watch.
Another parrot who has never even tried the watch on. The 36mm measures 35.5mm and is aimed at women with its dainty bracelet. The 40mm measures nearer 38mm with a bracelet width similar to the Submariner. Do tell everyone what other 38mm watches you deem "too big". Provide a list.
@@coffeeboyclips1973 Watches filmed or photographed close up look larger than reality because of lens distortion. The 40mm has a 2mm larger watch face than the 36mm. How does 2mm on a 35.5mm watch suddenly make it huge?! It is absolute nonsense. Perhaps you should visit an AD like I did and try on the 36 (35.5mm) and 40mm (38mm) plus do the all important mirror test, which really does reveal if a watch is "too big", not that your own eyes looking at your wrist couldn't tell you. The EX1 36mm is smaller than the DJ 36mm. It's tiny! Rolex's positioning of this watch is "his n hers", which is precisely why the 36mm is so diminutive. It looks like a kids watch even on smaller wrists. The bracelet tapers to 14mm, which is dainty and almost jewelry-like. It's 'for her'. Rolex released the 40mm because sales of the 36mm were so poor. That's 'for him'. And that should also tell you something. Watches of Switzerland sell $2bn of watches annually. Their own data has 42mm as the most popular men's watch size. The EX1 40mm is actually 38mm. It is the only watch I ever hear in online forums and YT comments as being "too big", despite the case and watch face proportions being the same as countless other competitor watches at 38mm. And that's by people who have formed an opinion based on a few videos and photos, they don't even own the watch nor have tried both sizes on at the same time - just like you. This cultish favouritism of the 36mm is amusingly childish and clueless.

@@coffeeboyclips1973 perhaps the older model, the new 36mm looks tiny because it is - 35.5mm.
Aimed at women.
