Got new flanker, its got better with rwr but scan speed of the radar and 10km hmd don't allow to react fast, which is required with R-77 because of their range. It is difficult to force yourself to play it when you can simply enjoy western jets without these problems.
I played SU27 against a 2000 on afghan and yes it's too hard to see him in 1st in the mountains because the radar of the su27 is really not very good and you get fooled by a MICA without understanding where he was... In Mig29 smt easier but still not at the level of the 2000 level detection in the relief.
Great vid. I hope Gaijin actually acknowledges to the issues with the Su-27's radar especially the SM. It's TWS scan rate is atrociously slow compared to everyone else.
At first i thought gaijin nerfed the mica cause it got 50g and then when i watched the dev server and played it i feel like they didn't fixed the wobbling and it got to much drag like the magic and r530 it barely get a plane at 40 km flying straight and if they move at 30 they can out manoeuvre it
Do you use a track ir? If so. Is there any delay from ur head movement to the in-game head movement? I'm considering getting one. I tried the webcam thing but the delay is like 1.5 to 2 seconds.
Have you tried it with ai track too ? also you need to get a fast camera or else thé camera delay will add up I use a webcam and i get a delay but it's good enough for me to fly with it and dogfight, can also track fairly ok (it's not amazing either but for 50 buck it's ok)
I use track IR (which comes with the camera) and there’s a delay but it’s so insignificant that it’s not worth worrying about. I had tried Delanclip before track IR and it had like twice or 3x the delay and gave me motion sickness. Track IR is a game changer. You won’t regret it.

Now we all have to boycott and make "LOUD NOISES" so we can get "modification" costs lowered or overall RP gains increased for every action. Maybe even get the "Crew locked" system thrown out. Hell individual battle ratings for vehicles based on the specific modifications you have unlocked. We need to bring the focus of the game back to fun, not just grinding our fingers to dust.

afaik along with the tech tree mirages, the J-11A, F-16AM as well as the Harrier Gr.7 all have 360° MAWS capability

They say that the F15J(M) have a MAW system IRL
but what would be good is the IRST pod or variant that can guide its AAM4 in the future

I live that Jet and I agree with the TWS on the flanker. Something is bugged. TWS in RB is fine. SIM is not.

nobody talking about comlink on sims would make gameplay 100x times better
