What I PERSONALLY dislike most about sim’s economy is the cap on earnings. You could get 5 kills in 10 minuets, then die. While some else can get a kill, land, wait a few minutes on then runway, then earn quite a bit more SL and stuff than you.
@@ItzCPU_yeah, I’ve started landing after every kill to wait out the “useful action” BS it shouldn’t reset upon death unless it’s suicide (like you crash)
Played against you in the Swedish Mig21 yesterday (you were in one of the F4s) and you kicked my ASS. Super impressive stuff and this gameplay backs it up. Btw, highly recommend you try out the Viggens in sim. Idk if you have yet but they are an absolute joy.
Hey Nimbal! I liked the video and wanted to ask; What HOTAS setup are you running? How do you handle POV? I run a VKB NXT EVO SC with a TM TWCS, and use my keyboard for the less immediate tasks. I find myself struggling with managing my POV and wondered how you do it.
any tips for f-16a? I've done quite a bit of 10.3 (A-10) sim, and was wondering how the f-16 does. The only thing keeping me from playing is the lack of countermeasures.
@@tubby921 They literally aren't. they said they have quite a bit of experience, and are asking for tips on one specific plane. Personally, I'd stay low, stay fast, and play on maps with more mountainous terrain. Keep your radar off unless you need to IFF someone, but don't hard lock anyone. You have 6 sidewinders and good avionics to boot. just try to sneak up on targets and launch a fox 2 at them, then run away before anyone has the chance to come and attack you. I wouldn't bother with chaff, if you're playing like this, there won't be any radar missile that can threaten you. just stay low or duck behind terrain if you get launched on.
Learn to play at around 11.0 before going top tier, with a fighter. Otherwise you ll probably get your ass kicked and you ll have a terrible experience

We already tried about a year ago, I forget the exact response but it was something along the lines of "most people don't have an issue with it so its not a priority" Just another thing that mainly affects sim players so we'll just have to wait until they feel like changing it
One thing I can’t get is why this thing is 11.7. It’s more competitive at 12.7 than let’s say MiG-29SMT, MiG-29A, Su-27 and even F-16D and C and most of the time it has 10.7-11.7 and 11.0-11.7 matchmaking
@@Loudward__ well then firstly, answer me this: how many times HMD helped you in non-Soviet plane? It does almost no impact and will do no impact until 9X’s and other HOBS missiles are added. Secondly, It has literally the same amount of flares as the F-16C (i mean it has 2x less than the 16C but the 16C drops 2 per pop so it has only 60 pops, S4 has 54 pops of flares which is almost twice as much as most planes below 12.3 have) M2K5F has the same missile count but sits at 12.3 The radar kinda sucks that’s true, but I personally never had problems with this radar, if there is no RWR pings I just keep it off, if there’s RWR ping that means that the plane is flying towards me (in most cases) so i will see the target from up to 90km Magic 2’s on this plane with so cracked FM is the easiest 2 confirmed kills while 6 9M’s on the 16C is just a 500kg of extra weight after merge, 6 r-73’s on the Flanker isn’t that fantastic as well cause of its FM, same for the SMT And this plane that easily beats anything that is not the F-16A almost constantly faces MiG-23’s, 21’s, F-4’s and other 3rd gens

@@Loudward__ 9M’s don’t care about flare’s luminosity and 73 can hit you only before merge and before merge it goes to every single flare it sees doesn’t matter if it has 4CU(big ones) of luminosity, 1CU(normal flares), 2CU(reinforced ones) or 0.7CU(BOL). And after merge … well, it’s kinda hard to launch r-73 backwards cause M2K will sit on Su’s or MiG’s ass without a chance for them to even get their HMD on you

No HMD, low missile count, low flare count, radar lacks non HDN modes
