I just love the blue sunburst dial and big numeral indices. It's a wonderful dial. Good movement at 26k bph and 65 hrs power reserve. This is just a great value for the money at less than half the price of the BB.

Imho, the Certina DS Action Diver is the best dive watch for the money for an entry level major brand diver. You can actually get the just previous version for under 1000, even close to 500. Risky designes get dated fast. This competes well against Tudor. The HC with ceramic bezel today, like mine, uses a free sprung balace wheel and silicon balance spring. When I made my first diver purchase I was doubting between the Aquis and Hydroconquest. The Hydroconquest was only available in 41mm at the time and that watch was nice, but the lug to lug was too long for me since I only have 16,5cm wrists. I also didn't like the bracelet and rubber strap as much as on the Aquis. I don't think the Aquis will ever leave my collection and I still absolutely love it to this day. Don't buy either the Hydroconquest or Aquis at retail though, then it becomes a much less good value proposition.
I was expecting more from this review. These things we already knew. We need to know like More about movement and accuracy of the watch.
Msrp, not rsmp
Date complication destroys this watch - my money is on the Oris Aquis, just much nicer looking imho. Bin the useless pointless date & this would be on equal footing with the Oris . Good review, Cheers 👍🏻👍🏻
Excepty the Oris looks like a Toy. I went with this instead as I couldnt stand the Shine on Aquis
@@tyronnezx owned the Aquis, it's every bit as well made as my Seamaster, certainly not a toy. ... They're both awesome watches, I just despise the pointless date complication. To each their own 👍🏻
Silly comment. What about the date is “useless”? I use the date on my Rolex Deepsea almost daily.
My guess is that people need to know the date far more often than they dive with their luxury watch .
@@carsandchronos you've made my point. You use the date "almost daily" ..
@@stevefox8605 I give up….what exactly is your point?
Sold! To the man with hairy chest! 🥳
the oris is better , the bracelet on this one is dog water, if you are in the market for a cheaper end diver go for a oris aquis you won't be dissapointed
Its a “LoNgines”, not a “Logines”
LONG JEANS? XDDDDD dude its lonjin
Very big and heavy
I think conquest is better looking
🤩
No me gusta su diseño, lo veo tosco
This could be anything but the best diver for the money: 48mm lug-to-lug at 39mm diameter?! 19mm lug width? You keep it!
I agree... Lug to Lug is Too Long, and "Why" 19mm. Straps. 🤷
The horror.
People
Not realizing that a 20mm nato can fit 19mm lug width
@@danielhovet5675 , I’m pretty sure an 18mm nato can fit it as well, but that’s not the point. I’m sick & tired of companies doing things slightly different just to trap ppl into their ecosystem.
well, haters. i just received straight from longines this watch here being reviewed , n i seriously luv it more that my sold omega seamster 2531.80. to me the this watch is literally just perfect. it s just well balanced n now my wrist is wearing it, not the other way around in which bulky 41 seamaster did.
In that price range there are many better watches.
Like?
Lol no there isn't
Still waiting for those better options
Çünkü yok 😂😂😂
Watch manufacturers really need to sober up. Here is the perfect example of how a date destroys the semitry of a dial, horrible. Perfect candidate not to have a date, it would have looked fantastic. No one buys a watch because they are constantly confused as to what day it is. Very backward business practice.
I’m weird I guess because my Oris Big crown Pro Pilot has the Day/Date and I use it for reference every day.
if you like the invicta look
Get your second hand synced with the minute hand dude.
It has 72 hours power reserve. Also, the clasp is not cheap in any way. It reminds me of Tudor.
Wrong the best diver under 2000 is the RE-AU0702B, but our snobbery doesn't allow us to appreciate it. Better specs better looks, better finishing and better quality. And if u have a collection 50hrs vs 80 hrs is a mute point... literally meaning less in this game
Cheap ETA movement, just slightly modified like in omega or tag Heuer ETA2892-A2 calibre
