I thought about just gluing them in place. I've cleaned the liner and inside of the liner housing and just put a very tiny bit of lube on the outer part of the o-ring. It still does not work they move every time. The next step for me is getting a carbon fiber tube that will fit over the liner but inside the liner housing and push each one into place but I will try the glue thing first. Ernest, can you please have FX make these part? I just changed out my slug liner in my Wildcat and that small thin o-ring fell out with the 2 liner o-rings. So this easy liner change has turned into a nightmare.
I'm new to air rifle shooting. I shoot with a field target group. (.177 an under 20 foot pounds). I have a FX Dreamline. Do people swap liners and change the caliber of the rifle often? Or is it better to buy a new rifle in 30 caliber to hunt with? I have a Benjamin Marauder in 25 caliber. I am looking at lower cost large caliber options. The idea is to improve my skills with the low caliber high shot count Dreamline and use a lower cost hunting option. Thanks for the video ☺️👍

Then why doesn't fx put these in all their products? My impact came with 3 plain black o rings. Sometime they would shift around when taking the liner out or putting it back in.
Why not just add a bunch of O-rings for support? Only three supports in the middle seems to be asking for vibration of the long unsupported sections. Choose O-rings that are tight at their ID on the liner; and less tight in the barrel sleeve.

Try to lubricate the o rings before inserting. I don't know. Just a suggestion

Put O-rings in place and wrap electrical tape on either side.
This is the best solution so far
