We used the older version and it worked well. We had a Presonus studio live mixer the drummer and keyboard player used the app on their phones to control their mixes in ear mixes..
Thanks for sharing... That's in my phase 6...
Its active if it has battery. Passive does not require a battery. Fyi
Hello, sorry for my question, I totally have no experience. I record music at my home using my ssl2+ audio interface and my in ear monitors shure SE 215 (18 impedance). However, when I contact my in in ears monitors to the interface I get very bad quality sound. So my question is, will this P2 help me with my situation?? Or do you recommend any other solution. Thank you for your time 🙏
honestly i do prefer an in deepth evaluation work rather than a basic description of a so intuitive piece of gear. Pro? Cons? Quality? Build? How much batteries last? Alternatives on the market? What is the effect of the stereo switch, if the unit has a single combo input socket? This means that the TRS also accepts stereo signals rather than balanced ones? Being your music track "out of polarity", i guess so.
Musicians can control their mix with mixers phone app. Just select the right output in app and you have almost full control. (dont mess with channels eq, or your soundtech will be mad, because that will effect also FOH :D) I think, its even simplier than controling p16
True
Question Ajay, can this be connected to analog mixer too? Either an aux out or sub group out
Yes
I sing on the worship team. I need and affordable in ear to hear the levels on all voices and musicians to know who’s Sticking out or if we’re to loud or soft in house and online. Can this do the job even if I move around when worshipping. If I have to plug in this means the wire will be hanging from my belt correct? That would restrict movement.
yes it will work but it is wired.
What input connector does it accept ? It says "XLR and TRS", not sure which one these are, can you also input by 3.5mm jack in that connector ?
It is mainly 1/4 or XLR with the 3.5 mainly being for the headset connection
Can you still use this without batteries?
No you cannot
Can you connect your bass right into it to practice with headphones
I do not believe so as you may need more power for the bass
@@AJaytheCEO thanks
Pronounced "Beh-ring-er". The main issues with the P2 is 1) it requires 2 batteries to operate, not passive, no power supply. 2) If you want to hear a stereo mix you must adapt somewhere in your stereo mix send to TRS into the single XLR input jack, 3) there is no stand adaptor, clip only. For $20 more you can purchase the P1 which has dedicated stereo XLR input jacks, external stereo/mono switch, balance & volume controls, mic stand adaptor, and accepts a 9V power supply.
I personally think this is a great option for guest musicians or those situations were it is not needed all the time. And this is a much lower price of entry for those trying to have in ear monitors

How does this device behave in “loud” environments?
How loud? Our musicians go in and I've not heard any issues from the praise team using the in ears
