I've never been to SFOT, but I went to SFOG many times in the 80s as a kid... it's funny to see big crews at each ride instead of the meager staffing they have now. Cool video.
I just watched all of your six flags videos, thank you so much for the blast from the past!!! I had forgotten about the Air Racer!! I remember that thing was down more than it was working lol. Great videos I bet you had no idea that people you don't even know would enjoy these so much after almost 30 years!!!
Seems much faster when your actually on it! One thing I remember about this ride was passing the "gum tree" when waiting in line. I dont think its there anymore.
I rode the Mine Train in the late 60s when it was very new. Did they EVER slow that ride down. Back then, dumb riders were jumping off as it passed through the Ace Hotel, which is why they sealed it off.
There's the waterfall!!! Glad to see it's back -even if it's only on video.
I was 15 in 1987...we visited SFOT around that time. Fun video to see!
GR8 VID!! 💖😀💖😀THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES!! I was 17 that year and my family went every summer!!

This is the Six Flags I will always remember.

Thank you for posting these! I sent them to my dad. He loved old six flags
#sixflagsovertexas should bring back the cave and waterfalls. This historic ride needs some TLC.

Instant nostalgia from the first second of the video! Thanks!
These are so cool. Thanks for posting!!!
Too funny, those ladies act like no tourist has ever pointed a camera at them before!
It's weird seeing this when Shockwave was the only nearby roller coaster.
The way I remember it as a kid in the 80s..

Holy crap! Mr. Freeze wasn't there.
Thought the same thing. It’s weird not seeing it there!
They need to reactivate that water fountain
