Its sad that Roope and Alexi will never get the recognition they deserve or be seen as the amazing guitar duo they were. Easily one of the most talented duos to play together. They played off each other so well. I think alot of Alexi's best playing was with Sinergy because he got to go back and forth trading solos with Roope. They really brought out the absolute best in each other. Wherever Roope is I hope he knows how much his playing is loved and I hope he gets back out there at some point. Alexi was a straight up heart breaking tragedy seeing him go so young. I'll always love those guys and the music the recorded. Rest in peace Wildchild

alexi has mastered his own style. he OWNS the guitar. if someone blindfolds you and presses play, you can tell its alexi, hes got such violent but perfect riffs he just owns the fucking guitar. and his flying V is badass too

The solos in Me myself and I from 5:49 to 6:12 are one of the best solos I've heard ever. When I got that CD back like 6 yrs ago I coudlnt stop rewinding it and listening to it again and again...Good video.

I'm referring to Stone, Latvala Bros plays Wooden eye (a rare instrumental thrash album, ua-cam.com/video/h11rUgUwkbM/v-deo.html ) and Waltari (!!). Latvala is such an eclectic and creative individual, and I certainly reckon his prior work must have had quite a bit of influence on Laiho during his early years. I love the both of them.

I discovered the solo from a friend in 2004 or something and I've been listening to it about every week at least since then. I think the main reason that aleksi is more celebrated is because he does vocals too and his style of playing is , perhaps a tiny bit more distinguished than roope's . '' ( the young talent, he's the '' image'' of the band)'' But As far as a all around guitar player I think that roope is a lot tigher.. he's also more knowledeable in classical guitar and other things.
