I always catch her videos as I’m preparing for work, coffee in hand. My TBR just grew by 6 books 😩❤📚 And yes! I love the variety of titles you’re sharing, because I’ll literally read anything.
I really appreciate your delivery of content. I learn so much from you. I really want to add some of your recommendations but my tbr list is out of control. Sometimes I have to ban myself from watching your vids because I know I'm going to want to follow your recs. Anyway keep doing what your're doing. You inspire this ol' lady. 😊
Sometimes, my reason for reading young adult/teen books is that they take me to an ideal teenage life. I love when the dog suddenly appeared while you were discussing You Bet Your Heart. 🐶 Thanks for introducing Danielle Parker, Eric Jerome Dickey. Yes to the Male Black BookTubers! 🙌🏽
My motto for the upcoming monthly TBRS: try to finish the books you didn't get to from the previous month. I got about 7. I do wanna try to squeeze in You bet your heart, and the new releases that are coming in March. Like my most anticipated read, Where the Sleeping Girls Lie
I finished Broken Clocks this past weekend. Grabbed the audio off a whim. It’s the same vibe as Before I Let Go. Both were good. Both 3.5 star reads for me.
Liars Game is one of my favorite books of all time. I read it many years ago. I am looking forward to reading it again. I recently purchased Sister Sister by him. I can't wait to re-read it.
I would definitely like for you to make a video about make BookTubers. I found one that I enjoy so much. I love how you highlight smaller booktubers. I am finishing up the hoop series now. I can’t wait until This could be us comes out. Only for the week was sooooo good! I did a book review on that one.
Great video and great recommendations. Will be adding these to my TBR for March and April. Thanks for sharing these amazing books with us. I would love to see more black booktubers as well.
Just finished this new, original collection of fairy tales, entitled 'Sillies, Fancies, and Trifles' - it was phenomenal and just perfect for the season. You guys would love it! What's everyone else reading, I want some more recommendations to add to the lovely ones here. Keep up the beautiful videos :)
I just saw: If Only I had told her at the store the other day. I didn’t realize it was a book 2. Good to know! Yasss I’m loving the lit fic books on your list. I’m surprised to see My dark Vanessa on your list😍👏🏽 I’ll be done with the hoops series tomorrow. 👏🏽👏🏽 Less than a 100 pegs to go. The Grip series is on my TBR for March as well 😊🩷I love this for us! I’m 70 pages into Where we found our home. It’s really good so far. 😊 And it’s definitely free on kindle unlimited! A Love Song for Ricki is so dang good!! 😍👏🏽🫶🏽 Ahh! Im so happy to see you read and Eric Jerome Dickey book. Great reading lineup! Enjoy!
Trying to get like you! Haha it’ll be fun to read different types of books this year. I hope that I love My Dark Vanessa! & wow, love that you d read so many Kennedy Ryan books! She’s such an amazing author
I recently found your channel and I’m so happy I did. I could seriously cry lol you are so refreshing and positive it makes me want to be that way. It’s been hard for me last few years with having a lot of deaths in my family back to back and I’ve found it hard to grieve and feel like myself again when another one knocks me down. I also suffer from severe anxiety and depression so that doesn’t help so some days it is hard to make myself go to work bc it’s gotten that bad. I work with people that have Down syndrome so it’s a rewarding job and very fun. I smile when I watch your videos and you are just infectious. Also your videos with Alex who I watch now and I watch kahlilah videos too. All three of y’all are amazing!!!! You and your hubby are also the cutest. My wife and I have been married for it will be 6 years this October and together 8 years. Definitely goals to be like you and your husband. I just love your mindset on things such as donating the books and not worrying about if someone may get them who resells. Everyone deserves access to books and to read and if you left none, no one would get help, atleast in your heart you are giving for the right reasons and what happens after that is okay. I’ve donated to homeless people before when I have cash and people say the same well what if they buy alcohol or drugs are arent homeless. Once I give them the money it’s theirs . If they want a drink or cigarette to cope with the hardship in their life that’s their choice. I don’t understand people. I also love how you talked about the importance of having books about people like you and it meaning the world. I know growing up there was not a lot of media or books with lesbians characters and when it was it was seen as bad. I’m so happy there is so much now out there in the world for the younger generation coming up and that I have access to now. Same with books about people of color and so on I’m glad we have more. We could do even better but I’m happy they are available. I don’t know that I would be here without reading. It was escape and honestly books were my only friends. I was bullied in school really badly also while being abused at home so books were everything to me. My favorite day was library and I’ve have a stack taller than me and was reading way above grade novel lol I know this was not all in this particular video I’m just so happy I found your channel. It’s like a warm hug and it makes me happy we have people in the world like you!!! 💛 you are such a giving a giving person and are beautiful inside and out. Cristal :)
I just purchased "If He Had Been With Me" based on your book rec. That will be on my March TBR and a few others. Thank you for such a through video on your March reads.
My Dark Vanessa was an interested read. I remember enjoying it, but I don't remember the age of the characters, I just remember that he was older than her.
I so enjoy your vlogs! My reading has expanded so much more since I discovered your channel. I just finished The MixTape on Audio it was so good! I think I can say I am hooked on Britini Cherry. I also finished reading the The Kingmaker and The Rebel King by Kennedy Ryan. I loved Before I Let Go. I have Tia Williams Love Song For Riki Wilde on hold at the lib. I so enjoyed Seven Days In June by her. And OMG I hope Kennedy Ryan and Tia Williams comes to my area. Looking forward to your thoughts on Eric Jerome Dickey. Once again I have more books to add to my TBR from watching this. I enjoyed how you separated the books as well. Looking forward to your reviews on the ones I added to my TBR.
My Dark Vanessa brought up a lot of emotions for me. The writing is honestly exquisite. I rated it 5 stars! I’m interested to hear your thoughts after you read it!
We do not have the same reading tastes (I lean more towards horror and fantasy) but I love your personality so much I just keep watching! I, maybe, who knows, I'll be encouraged to find a new romance or thriller that's a hidden gem
I actually met my husband when I was 16 and he was 22. We’ve been happily married for 27 years. However, I was a very mature 16 year old. I had just prayed that I would meet the man I was supposed to spend my life with instead of having to date a lot of different men. I met my husband within a few weeks after that prayer. I do agree that in many instances it would not have ended the same way but I’m positive that God brought us together and I’m so very thankful.
Here's my tbr for march since it's women's history month i decided to read books by female authors or that focus on female leads The sporty one by melanie c memoir The island of missing trees by elif shafak The glass castle by Jeannette wells memoir
Not sure if you read it yet but the natural series !!! Sooooo good!!! I am still on the first book but so close to finishing it!!! Sooooo amazing !! I had to stop reading just because I couldn’t believe one of the outcomes that happened !! lol 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
!Kia Abdullah is a phenomenal authorn you should read next of kin. Her work is seriously unpredictable! I've also been using Spotify audio; I use Libby and Bookbeat; fell in love with audio books this year, and ah.
Hi! I just found you. I love watching your videos and so far all the books you have shown. I have inherited the complete series of Janet Evanovich books minus the last one that either just came out or is due out. Just wondering if you read the number series and what you thought.
Ok. Very serious question for the people who don’t curse out there. Does the narrator voice in your head replace curse words with words that sound like that specific word? Ex. Fudge, heck, shoot. Or does the voice say it how it is lol. When I read I have a narrator in my head reading with/to me lmao. Idk if that’s normal but 🤷♀️
I used to curse all throughout college so I definitely think of the words when I read them hahaha.. but people who’ve never cursed in their life, I can’t say whether they read them in their head or not haha
I think I might have to add my dark Vanessa to my TBR … I had a similar situation where I was 17 in a situationship with a 21 almost 22 year old and he would always say “you’re so mature for your age” and it freaks me out now!
I always catch her videos as I’m preparing for work, coffee in hand. My TBR just grew by 6 books 😩❤📚 And yes! I love the variety of titles you’re sharing, because I’ll literally read anything.
Yay yay yay!
Eric Jerome Dickey was my favorite author to read when I was in my 20s. I also love Fly Girl by Omar Tyree. 5 Stars!!
Thanks for sharing!!

I don’t think I’ve ever read a thriller. I want to try 1 or 2 out before I completely rule them out + say I don’t like them. Any suggestions?
Never Lie by Freida McFadden or The Couple Next Door by Shari Lapena are both great thrillers!
Can you recommend like tragic romance?
I think magnolia parks would be considered a tragic romance! but don’t quote me on that hahaha

So true! I don’t read many books that are over 15 hours so it’s a nice little deal for me since I’ve already had premium for years 😃🫶🏽
What the hell is considered cursing? 👀
I try to only say things I could say around my mama haha.. i just think about her looking at me sideways if I said something out of pocket
