I gotta give You credit your GSXR 1000'S are a force to be reckoned with. If Kountry has got the weight disadvantage and less power versus You the "King Daddy" of 2 wheels on a flashed H2. I'd say dollar for dollar a Moore mafia prepped Suzuki is absolutely hands down the way to roll. It's really nice to see real world street testing of these 2 super bikes what they will actually do.
I think Country HAS the weight advantage. Plus he's piped and tuned even lighter and more powerful. GSXR1000s are beasts anyway as are most of the newer 1000s. H2 is so restricted and it still can't be controlled by the best rider. De restricted piper and air filter it should put out around 240hp. Different race then IF you can keep the front end down. But it should be faster considering the price.
I've owned an H2 for 4yrs. The trick is starting in 2cd gear. Put Traction on level 2. Roll on smooth until mid way through 3rd gear. Then full throttle from there on out. My H2 was Moore Mafia tuned, vandemon exhaust and filter. The power management or should I say throttle control is key to keeping that front end down. If I ever whack the throttle in 1st or 2cd it's wheelie time.
@@custommotor No, that is not the case. For a very crude wheelie/"slip" control that is correct, but for more sophisticated programmed ECU's you will have the best result with TC=ON. The best acceleration is when the front wheel is just about hovering.. Any wheelies will lose time, and so will excessive spin of rear tyre. This is just plain physics... I have both a tuned (250rwhp) Z H2 and the new M1000R, and it is "light-years" between those bikes regarding how Wheelie control is handled (or more correct.. NOT handled by Kawasaki). That said.. the best acceleration from standstill is with TC=3 (highest intervention) on the Z H2, but that is only for 60ft/0-60. TC=1 is high wheelie time. TC=2 marginally better. Believe me.. I have been testing a lot... And regarding removing the restriction in ETV for 1st and 2nd gear is not a very smart move really for drag-race/street-roll-on-race.. You will NEVER be able to use the power on 100% throttle anyway. Even on my bike where I have let the ETV table for 1st and 2nd be as they are, the bike still want to "flip" on full throttle with TC=1. The launch control on the Z H2 is pretty bad compared to launch control on the M1000R, at least if you fiddle with the ETV tables (1st and 2nd). I really do not see why most tuners thinks this is a good idea on high powered/short wheelbase "super-bikes" like this.
@@TL1000S97 I love this. It's very interesting how everything will vary bike to bike as far as Traction Control, Wheelie Control and Launch Control. But the consistent factor to every race is spinning ain't winning and wheelies look and are a ton of fun (I love doing them) but they don't help you in racing. Well said here bro!
With cars, you must spin to win. Otherwise maintaining traction under too much power will break parts in the drivetrain but I think that's just nuance.
I have the same issue with my tuned Z H2 when racing my buddy on his ZX-14R. I have the power to beat him, but due to the wheelies in every gear I can keep into it to beat it. I will be right beside neck and neck, but not getting past because I'm pointing at the sky while both his wheels stay on the ground.
Chris, take your H2 to the guy 650ib did & have the internals modified/cut so she rides low, i know those guys are doing 1st gear roll’s & keeping the front down
I told you the 1k would take it. Once you get a stretch on it it should do better. But it’s just ridiculous to have to mod a 35k dollar bike that much just to compete with a Gsxr 1000
HEy man! Loved the video! My dads coming up saturday to get his z900 flashed, cant wait to see what it does! I'll get my 750 flashed as soon as i have the time to change anything on it. Although im sure a flash would fix the throttle response on it even with it stock. Haha. Keep at it, gotta smoke that 1000!
Damn, Kountry’s GSXR is impressing me. How much hp is it making? Is it just flashed, exhaust, filter, and lowered? I’m curious to see what hp/performance increase will be on the H2 after installing the Vandemon exhaust.. That H2 looks badass slammed 😎
Need to shave weight on H2... Get rid of that 200lb exhaust lol 😂.. Ride them wheelies out Chris...I seen you do it the drag strip.. Big Kountry got you today brother.. props to both y'all..peeeeace...
Gloves... I'll never forget the time I saw a guy wheelie and come off the bike at highway speed....first thing I saw was sparks coming from his hands when he hit the street. Had gloves with metal rivets in the palms. I've felt naked without gloves since.
Chris gonna be on that phone. Can you next day deliver a swingarm.(make it 65 in wb). Then the next call to Vandemon or Uncle Brock get that Bazooka off there. Kountry should call his bike Rocky Balboa 🤣🤣🤣
ACTUAL dyno numbers Cycleworld got on a H2, 167hp and 87 ft lb of torque.. that is it. Its like those dry weight measurments that claim close to 400lb, then you find out they don't just mean an empty gas tank. And it would be nice to get an accurate number from a manufacturer, but its like those stock tires they come with out of the box, they are not the same mod.#'s. After 30+ years on sportbikes, you learn a thing or two about hype.
Wings will be completely ineffective at the speeds where wheelies are a real problem, particularly once the front end comes up, then they just make the problem worse.
I wonder what the gearing difference is between the two bikes? Also why would you even try to roll on race in first gear? Second on up would be much better. Third even better. I think that the best option for this type of roll would be a tooth or 2 smaller rear sprocket. Just too violent in first it seems.
When you lower the front with the straps, does it hurt the front shocks. I’m not professional but I sure loading the shocks like that for a long period of time will damage them.
I'll buy some stuff in Friday to win the bike but my dream bike is an R1 I don't even care if it's just an R1 with out the M lol base r1 is my dream bike.

What if you left the rear end stock hight or higher then it might not wheelie as much?? Because the front of the bike will be lower than the rear and it will be pointing down so wheelies would be harder for it to do

Don't forget, the H2 still has stock highly Restrictive exhaust. Once that changes, it's going to be even much harder to deal with.

I think this is the problem with the H2, it either needs enough real estate to reel people in or it needs to be setup spot on so it doen’t wheelie.

Question! Tune a bike before or after a stretch? Going with a +6" - 8" on my kids 10R
Scorpion helmets are the best bang for your buck helmets now
