Great horror list as always Lee seeing your new 2025 video is like unwrapping a late xmas gift. Looking forward to seeing more good videos from your channel Happy New Year 🏴😎👍
The reason I didn't put Woman of the Hour & Strange Darling in either part of the video is because I didn't count them as horror, but they will be in your non-horror movie list. 2024 was wild I had my Top 40 favorite movies of 2024 on my letterboxed and 15 of them were horror movies I already mentioned in part 1. Maxxxine is a good movie but the footage at the very beginning of the movie is a dead giveaway for the reveal at the end. That's my biggest problem with that one.
Kicka$$ list. I saw everything on this one, but I got Lowlifes from the last one. Thanks for yet another under the radar recommendation. Lowlifes rocks.
From this 2nd "Best of" list.... Abigail definitely killed it! Some....I haven't seen,ex. Heretic is a film I'll have to view....liked your description & it's premise!!! It's absolutely been a smorgasbord of horror in 2024.
Still so many I haven’t seen yet. My favorites I did see have been (counting down) Late Night with the Devil, Cuckoo, The First Omen, Nosferatu, Abigail, the Substance, and Long Legs. I fell asleep during Strange Darling after working 4 12’s. Need to rewatch. Haven’t seen Terrifier 3 yet. ❤
I need to catch up on a lot of these, but I have to give a special shout-out to Abigail for, completely unexpectedly, using my favorite Danzig song in a key scene. It just elevated what was already a great film.
Remember times when you could do Top 10 music albums of the year and they still great today. This year I realised I didn't buy 1 CD last year. Wth?? Scary. Good list MrLEE, as always.
This one is not from this year (is from 2023, but got a digital release this year) Strange Darling (2023), a thriller in 6 acts and not in order, is awesome bro, highly recommended.
I would’ve thought oddity would be a bit higher on the list got the most effective jump scares I think I’ve seen in a long time what few jump scares it does have
Another great list, and I know I need to track down Infested eventually. Though you do have one here that I'm saving for my worst list. Since I aped you and did 13 on the last video, I'll round out to the rest of my top 20 for the year. 14. Cuckoo 15. Abigail 16. A Quiet Place: Day One 17. Woman of the Hour 18. Alien: Romulus 19. Smile 2 20. Speak No Evil Two honorable mentions for Godzilla: Godzilla Minus One Minus Color - a fantastic version that makes the carnage feel more horrific, and stands well with the 1954 original. Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire - pretty much a cartoonish tribute to the Shōwa era that is entertaining, if not all that impactful.
yine harika bir liste! dan stevens farklı rollerde çok iyi. onun kesinlikle daha iyi yerlerde olması gerekiyor. godzilla vs king kong new empire ve abigail'i sinemada birer hafta arayla izlemiştik ve beraber izlediğim kardeşime dan stevens'ın iki filmdede olduğundan bahsettiğimde şaşırmıştı. mutlu yıllar!
Smile 2 was my favorite movie in 2024….. off subject, but speaking of Dan Stevens, if you haven’t seen The Guest check it out - that movie deserves more attention!
I always feel that you should give every movie a second watch before making a top 10 list ignoring bland and movies you hated. This gives a better ranking as sometimes your excitement for a movie brings it higher or a movie you liked but were hesitant on doing to how the story unravels shoots higher in your list do to seeing it knowing where it is going and appreciating the direction more.
There's alot of validity in a first opinion though it's so unbiased and untainted. But sometimes a movie doesn't click until multiple watchings its a double edged sword. But always worth the journey to find something you click with
This list is my top 11-20 10. Salem's Lot (Definitely on my own island with this but I actually enjoyed it) 9. Stream 8. Lisa Frankenstein 7. Never Let Go (Same thing with Salem's Lot) 6. Infested 5. Smile 2 4. Immaculate 3. A Quiet Place: Day One 2. Oddity 1. MaXXXine Such a damn good year for horror! Hope 2025 is another great year for horror.
I agree that Naomi Scott was fantastic in Smile 2 and there were some great scenes but I found myself turning the volume off and fast forwarding scenes a lot so sadly, that one didn't work for me all that well.
Yes it's 11 - 20, but they are all A tier. So I wanted to mention them. The sole purpose of my lists, and why I stack them full, is to recommend movies to my audience that might have missed some. Thanks for watching.
I think a serial killer can easily get on a dating show the question is with how dating shows are now would they want to i.e. more multiple people vying for the attention of one or just a bunch of single people that can freely date but must try not to get eliminated off the show. Serial killers by most accounts are just normal appearing people and a background check probably wouldn't get an killer eliminated from participating unless they were already convicted for something outside of their murders (due to the whole death sentence thing or their extremely long prison sentence).
I thought NEON was gonna be next A24 as well until I herd the are putting out Chris Stuckmanns Movie. And im not hearing great things at all about that flick.
Loving those lists man! Keep 'em coming. Also, "riding the Drumdums train" sounds more like the title of a p0rn movie than anything else. You should copyright that shit brother!

Yes! I'm due for another watch.
Happy New Year Mr. McCoy!!! It was a pleasure, as always 🤘
Great horror list as always Lee seeing your new 2025 video is like unwrapping a late xmas gift. Looking forward to seeing more good videos from your channel Happy New Year 🏴😎👍

Awesome list thanks for the recommendations and cool video!👍
I wish you a happy and prosperous New Year 2025 Lee! 🎆
Have a great new year dude.

There are certain movies that definitely straddle the line of horror and non-horror. The Crow being one of them.
Happy New Year Lee! New mic looks dope, man!
Thank you!
Happy new year to you and your family. May you all have a wonderful 2025. Its past 1 o clock new years morning here in South Africa.
Happy New Year to you and yours as well!
I like both your lists. Phenomenal year for horror. One movie I’d have on my list is Stopmotion.
Happy New year Lee and cheers 🍻
Happy new year!
It was a fabulous year for Horror movies!!!
Indeed it was!
Happy New Year 🎉
You too!!
Another great list! I love your breakdowns of these lists, because horror is not one dimensional. I gotta go watch Oddity. Happy New Year!
Happy New Year Akay! Definitely see Oddity. Really solid.
“ thank you for riding the rumdum train 🚂 that did not sound right “ 😂 lol
Damn, this list was as good as the first. 2024 killed it!
Another great list but i have different ...my top 5 from this list . 1 Smile 2 ...2 Speak No Evil ..3 Cuckoo 4. Heretic ..5 Abigail.
Solid lists. Looking forward to the rest of them!!!
Thank you!
Awesome Top 10

Heretic was excellent.

Terrfier 3 is so fun Jennifer. Four 12s is BRUTAL!
I need to catch up on a lot of these, but I have to give a special shout-out to Abigail for, completely unexpectedly, using my favorite Danzig song in a key scene. It just elevated what was already a great film.
Anytime Danzig is in a movie, it kicks it up a notch.
Fantastic second part of this list happy new year 🎆🎊
Thank you Damian. Happy New Year!!🎊

Yep. That's becoming the norm.
i love all these choices. but I still havn't watched a quiet place part 0 or whatever it's called but I will watch it tonight.
It's good! I think you'll like it.
Ive watched Smile 2 like 6 times. I loved it. It made my top 5 in 2024 Abigail made my top 10 & AQP Day One made my top 15
Yes! It's amazing. I need to give it another watch.
I absolutely loved Maxxxine on a rewatch. Gave it a perfect score too
Me too!
Smile 2 is definitely my favorite of the year
It's great.

Strange Darling (2023), a thriller in 6 acts and not in order, is awesome bro, highly recommended.

Oh shit 😂😂
Yeah, only watched part II first lol, gonna check it out now

19. Smile 2
20. Speak No Evil
Two honorable mentions for Godzilla:
Godzilla Minus One Minus Color - a fantastic version that makes the carnage feel more horrific, and stands well with the 1954 original.
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire - pretty much a cartoonish tribute to the Shōwa era that is entertaining, if not all that impactful.

I love it Beth!!
No Lee this Is like the third year straight you've done 2 top 10 best horror lists 😂
Really?! God my memory is horrible. 😂😂
Here's to 2025 🍷
Boom!
Smile 2 was my favorite movie in 2024….. off subject, but speaking of Dan Stevens, if you haven’t seen The Guest check it out - that movie deserves more attention!
The Guest was literally the 2nd review I ever did on this channel almost 10 years ago. I love it.
I always feel that you should give every movie a second watch before making a top 10 list ignoring bland and movies you hated. @@aaronrumph3291 if it’s a movie, I’m on the fence about, I always like to give it a second viewing. So I agree.

2024 is going to be super hard to top.
I really thought Abigail would be left off again; you named some this time that O need to add to my must see!
Yeah don’t skip any of these David!
I cannot wait for They Follow.. 🙃
Me too!!
@@DrumdumsOfficialI haven't seen Cuckoo yet but Dan Stevens always brings it.. 🍿
I watched every movie on this list except for Don't Move.
Nice!
Yes, Danish is correct Lee. But you can only recommend the remake of Speak No Evil for people who haven´t seen the much better danish/dutch original.
True. Very true. The Danish version is amazing.
Maxxxine was meh for me but In a Violent Nature was a nice surprise.
I agree that Naomi Scott was fantastic in Smile 2 and there were some great scenes but I found myself turning the volume off and fast forwarding scenes a lot so sadly, that one didn't work for me all that well.
I didn’t have that option in the theater, but I didn’t need it.
Like your channel, but I’m a little confused with this. How does a 2nd top 10 list work? Is this really your 11-20? The B team?
Yes it's 11 - 20, but they are all A tier. So I wanted to mention them. The sole purpose of my lists, and why I stack them full, is to recommend movies to my audience that might have missed some. Thanks for watching.

Nothing wrong with that.
I might give Cuckoo a second viewing down the line because I didn't understand it my first viewing.
Yeah give it another go Brandon. It's so wacked out.
@@DrumdumsOfficial The climax was something!

I must be the only one that didn't enjoy Abbigail it was good until the third act that ruined it completely
I thought it was so fun.
I really tried to like cuckoo and nosferatu they just didn’t hit for me.
