Man, I learn so much shit on UA-cam. Thanks for posting your video man. You really help all of us curious guys. Now, you just have to post a video of how it holds up down the line and share what you like and don’t like about the performance.
Nothing really to tell, haven't done anything there in a while other than relax the odd time....too busy in the shop and riding around ontario and Quebec.
had a few brand new 18 XMRs come in to my shop cuz our local dealer won’t touch it because it’s “unsafe”.... crock o’ crap for an excuse but very effective little gizmo for the price.
Very good video. I ride a sportsman 1000 limited and would like to switch to ca am but don’t think the visco lok will be safe on extremely steep trails, you just don’t have time to slip wheels to build pressure to engage wheels. What is your opinion please?
I have a jeep xj with Spartan lockers, it’s a beast . I have a stock 2016 canam 450l outlander ... would it be worth to lock those diffs . It has the visco lock I believe . I’m gonna really start looking into it though more so curious if it’s worth it
Sorry if this has been asked already. How does it effect the steering under normal trail riding? Does it want to pull straight like a full time four wheel drive? With a shoulder injury the power steering is great, I don't want to fight with steering all day. I don't normally ride hard core and up to my arse in mud, but when I have to cause that's the trail I'd like to be prepared. I've got front diff issues now and was wondering if this is the route to go now that I have to replace the diff. Riding a 2013 XMR 650 Thanks
Question. Should I replace my axles before I get torq lockers? I have a 2020 can am 850 XMR with stock axles and I don't want to throw an axle while I'm enjoying the ride.
I have a 2019 1000 outlander and cant seem to find one that will work for it they only seem to be available up to 2018 do you know if they changed anything in the diffs and if the 2018 one will work? Or do you know where I can get one for my 2019?
I've heard one of the big reasons BRP has not put in a full locking front diff is because of the massive torque the rotax makes and coupled with the weight of them and 30" mud tires they would probably go under in broken axle and front diff claims. I've been in some nasty shit with my xmr 1000 and on a few occasions I've been pinned up against the side of a rut and the side wall of one silverback was clenching onto solid ground, as I give it some gas I hear a pretty awful noise coming from the front diff and its allowing some slippage so I dont shatter a cv. I know for a fact on 3 occasions that torque locker would of caused damage.
oh ya for sure - I know that exact situation...used to break axles in my Rzr like that....but that was always my foots fault not the lockers fault:). Right now Can am doesn't really warranty axles as it is and I'm not sure about the front diff.
PowerModz that locker would be good for slow speed crawling. But that visco lock QE under our typical skeg is more then adequate and I doubt you'll notice much of a difference.
Does it truly make that much difference on a 2020 XMR 1000R as well I have smoked my belt 2 or 3 times in the break in phase accidents but do you think I need to have it looked at or adjusted? Wasnt bad but did smell it and saw smoke once . ??
depends on your dealer...most ive heard from dont have an issue with it...but dont expect the front diff to be covered...that makes sense, maybe unless its dealer installed.
I installed mine following this video step by step. So I’m guessing I didn’t disable the visco lock. After installing there is so much noise coming from the diff. It sounds like I’m driving with 2 broken axels.
From what I know, it's probably a good idea to disable the Visco lock but not mandatory. Disabling the Visco lock may save you issues down the road so might as well disable it while you have it apart.
Are you ever going to do other videos? Cuz all these self promotion of items you sell in your shop has gotten very boring. All my friends have already unsubbed and I'm on the edge. Come on man do something else.
Klink Keng are you kidding? so you'd rather i show everyone how to do things but not be able to make a few bucks now and then? you think this channel doesnt cost anything to make so you and your buds can watch it? have a heart man...in the last month ive put out 20 riding vids and 8 vids where i show people how to install things...install vids that i happen to sell. if you dont want to watch an install vid then dont watch it...but something tells me if you buy something from some other shop you might check out my vid on the install...and i don't have an issue with that. thanks for watching.....
Psycoticbean i have no idea what these guys expect lol. free entertainment 24/7 i guess. i invute him to come work a day in the shop right now with this heat wave lol.
I like your how to videos after learning how to do something I can go out n make my own videos instead of sitting on a computer all day waiting for something exiting to watch. 124 thousand subs man I don't think you will miss this dude.
Huge fan of the Torq Locker, Great install Louis
honestly at that price they should come with this standard....

PowerModz half the cost of anyone in my area, business is not at all slow lol

Looks like a mini Detroit Locker!

Aren’t you suppose to take out the visco lock before installing torq lock?

Thanks
I plan to buy a 6X6 Defender this fall. Would this locker fit that unit? Looks very impressive.
Isn'the torque sequence in disassemble the same as in assembly only reversed? To keep from Case distortion.
You didn't take the vis lok out?
I got a 2023 850 Xt outlander will they fit in that
The powermodz link doesn't work.
Where can I get a torq locker for my can maverick trail
i have a big problem with outlender 1000xxc because it has abs system, can i install torq loker on my differential
Did you show in this video disconnecting the visco lock. ??
Question. Should I replace my axles before I get torq lockers? I have a 2020 can am 850 XMR with stock axles and I don't want to throw an axle while I'm enjoying the ride.
Id rarher break an ae than a diff, but when they break i replace with rhino or demon
@@PowerModzOfficial Thank you!

How does this locker compare to the Halo lockers?
guess i should be glad my old arctic cat has a locker on the handle bars.. lol cheap bike but goes where most of my buddies cant
😂
I’m thinking about buying a torq locker
Do they make one for a 2011 foreman 500 es?
Are They Expensive ?
We're is your shop I love the work you do bro
Why don’t they come like that from factory? Or make it an option?? Is there a downside or reliability issue?
Because they want you to break them lol.
I need one for my Four Wheeler
Hello, it is possible to install torq locker in can am with smart lok??
No it is not.
is this about Front or Rear differential ?
Front
What kind of torque locker you have
I only have Honda left

I want to buy it
Does this void the warranty on a new machine?

Did you disable the visco lock?
yes vid coming out in a few mins

I have Outlander 1000xmr to

Does this locker do away with the God awful sound the visco lok makes ??? 😂
Will these work on dirt bikes??
Jerome Dor yes
Jerome Dor why would you need something like this for a dirt bike?
jared Noah cause the front tire doesn’t turn:’)
Yes of course, I put it in all of my dirt bikes and 3 wheelers.
