@@aspenisthebestCrochet shoes are actually a thing! You pretty much take a base that has holes around it for you to build off of when you crochet. I believe Jenna Phipps has a video where she makes crochet shoes using this method

That's a nice outfit you made for your friend. When I give myself a deadline I tend to crochet slower and I am a slow crocheter and knitter.
i know this video was forever ago but to anyone who tried this pattern - did the waist end up extremely too wide for you??? all my measurements were as they were supposed to be but the waist ended up HUMONGOUS!!! felt like a diaper space it was so wide. just wondering if anyone else had this same issue???
