If a mother has green eyes, is left-handed, drinks from straws, and taps her foot nervously, her child has quadruple the chance of getting the horrible disease of autism! Additionally, if the dad is fat, plays video games, etc. etc. etc.

@@dmomnashnash8546 I'm satirizing the "doctor". Autism is not caused by tapping your foot, obviously. We have already advanced beyond throwing women in the lake to see if they're witches. The practice of medicine in the past was cruel because they were still so ignorant. We should progress, not backtrack.

What about insulin resistance causing elevate testosterone in utero? PCOS is caused by insulin resistance and results in elevated testosterone. Autism is extreme male-brain.

ASD isn't yet biologically diagnosed. Current diagnosis is behavior based. You are wrong on nearly every interpretation of the facts.
Autism rates are increasing because we're better at understanding how to diagnose ASD.
    This is horrible clickbait.

Another idiot. Familiarize yourself with Robert Naviaux's work. The "increased rates due to diagnosis line" is generally blurted out by people who've never read a scientific article in their life. Followed by "it's genetic". Completely oblivious to the reality of epigenetics, and the fact not everyone in the family/identical twins has it lol. Should we listen to Caveman/medical professionals with biased 1970's education or the Harvard Psychiatrist who works at McClean and the leading mitochondrial biochemist in the world who solved Alpers. Go play with your pokeball and leave the opinions to the experts
