Ohhh awesome! This all looked very intuitive and well thought out, an excellent add on- and then you showed that stomper functionality 😮 amazing. Thanks for the run down- as if I wasn't sold in your latest base building video, these detailed looks really drove it home
As you say, a really clean and well thought through addon and the stomper feature is quality. There is also a function to make a shattered glass like break which is fun.
Very handy set of addons there. Also I see they have a brick wall addon too; that maybe a higher priority addon for my needs avoiding the use of displacement maps etc.
@@ArtisansofVaul Yeah thanks for the link. Think the Trowel addon has the different running brick bonds which is useful. Either way will look into it a bit more.
Oh, nice find ΛₒV! Love it! This will make quick work to further damage stuff for sure :) Thanks for passing this along. I think my only gripe (along with what you mentioned about the Cracked menu possibly being hidden by the left-hand viewport T menu), is that I wish the cracks themselves could have their vertical angles tweakable. By this I mean, when looking at the cracked angle from the side/thickness of say a concrete slab, I wish this could say defaulted to being more or less vertically straight, and a key can 'skew' this in either direction (when I played with it, I could not find a setting for this). Otherwise, it seems like a great add-on for sure!
So there is a "shatter glass" tool in Cracker I haven't tried yet. But I think for stone you'd need to combine it with something that adds some chipping to the edges to make is visible for 3D printing if that's what you're target is.
I find that looks too messy/exaggerated compared to a real crack. What I find looks better for a more fractured surrounding surface is to use One Click Damage to then add that after I have cracked the material.
Sorry for the delay responding, I wanted to check this before I reply. Yes it seems to work great having a play around. I assumed it would but wanted to be sure to not give some bad advice. I hope that helps.
It isn't but if you'd like to point me in the direction of one that's as good as this and as reliable and creates as good geometry I'd be happy to have a look at it.
As a cracker myself, I fully endorse this addon
🤣🤣🤣 Brilliant
Additional Cracker vid is just great addon to your first one. Thanks mate.
Cheers 👍🏻😁 I thought they'd go well together.
As someone about to make dungeon tiles, you’ve timed this well!
😁👍🏻Great to hear. Hope you have fun!

That's a very cool add-on.
It's great fun. Really intuitive as well (or at least that's what I've found).

I think that more uses the mortar. If you want just bricks maybe try this (depending on the situation): ua-cam.com/video/SomEVY5qG0MY/v-deo.html5qG0M

@dimitriospaleocrassas432 oh that's cool 👌🏼 Nice

That's an interesting idea. Maybe contact the creator. In conversations he's been awesome and really encouraged people asking him about things.
THIS IS EXACTLY WHAAT I NEEEEDED, THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU SO MUCH
@lush_pop 😁😁😁 Great to hear the videos are helping
You can also make glass braking style in the last version. Great plugin. Greetings.
Yeah that looks lots of fun. I found a few odd results from it though.
Long time no see you. I am glad that you are still making your awesome content. Do you htink this could be use as some kind of radius impact?

its really cool, its just really curvy it needs more noise

You know, I’m somewhat of a cracker myself.
🤣
Hey, great video as usual! Do you need to subdivide the model first in order to use this? Or does that happen once you click?
No need to subdivide.. the add-on will handle everything on its end.
No subdivision at all. These were just cubes that had been arrayed and then separated. It's so easy to use with simple geometry.
Does it work on round, spherical or contoured objects?

Thank you! Sorry the late reply to your late reply! Lol! Love your content, keep up the great work!!
@ET-The-E-Man 🤣 No problem my man 😁👍🏻 And thanks so much.
Isn't this add-ons free? There are hundreds of more great add-ons than this, which are free
It isn't but if you'd like to point me in the direction of one that's as good as this and as reliable and creates as good geometry I'd be happy to have a look at it.
