I didnt even started watching the video and i just wanna say...yes you should buy it,its probably the best game in the series and you should definitely give it a chance
@@History29993, 4 and 5 are far superior to III. While III has some charm to it, the additional features in it's successors are enough to put it below them.
also its 5 dollars might have to get ir tbh i have been getting into single player game just got done playing jurasic world 2 i have already dowloaded god of war so if i like that im prolly gonna buy this it looks very good
I've been playing co-op online with my buddy for 7 years now. Briefly stopped to play Sniper 5 and we were let down and went right back to 4. IMO it's one of the greatest games ever, especially if you grab the DLC.
@@muxz, what are you smoking?? SE5 is far superior to SE4 when it comes to co-op. 🤣🤣 The only thing about SE5 is that they removed the overwatch mode for some bizarre reason, but they did add the invasion mode.
@H.M.SKingGeorgeV The gameplay and level design suck hard in 5. It's chasing the COD crowd, and it suffers greatly for it in the actually being a sniper department. Feels like a low rent Splinter Cell wannabe.
Never played a sniper game. Just got it on sale for 10 bucks, bunch of dlc. Has a a lot of stuff to find in maps. Looks great. Personally reminded me of a MGS series style. Go gun blazes. Or set up traps and find a nest. That’s at least how it feels to me. Haven’t played online, still on the single player. But right now feel like I won’t get to multiplayer for awhile
Yes. I just bought it a few weeks ago digital deluxe (or whatever the edition with all dlc is called) for $8. I honestly haven’t played it a whole lot yet but only because I’ve been finishing up another couple games but based on the first mission alone it’s a yes for me honestly feel like I stole it for $8 lol. I’d say anyone that likes games like metal gear solid series, splinter cell, would definitely like it. It feels like those in ww2. Long range, medium range, stealth. All work awesome (I’ve spent like 4 hrs in the first mission reloading and trying different approaches basically getting used to the mechanics and studying how the ai reactions to different actions. For example one of the first objectives is to take out a high value target as he says in the video. I set a save in this one section of the map. I killed it up close stealth sneaking through the area. I used suppressed sniper watched them go react trying to figure out where I was shooting from. Then I tried manipulating the ai. The target was hiding in a building and I couldn’t get a good angle so I shot a couple in line of sight timing with the airplane overhead to sound mask the shots. That didn’t lure the target out so I shot a trucks gas tank loud that scattered the infantry in the area and I got a line of sight on the target and took him out. For those worried about the sniper mechanics and difficulty. As said in this video there are multiple difficulty settings. The higher you set it the more you will have to consider when sniping such as bullet drop and wind direction. Levels seem to be structured as mini sandboxes similar to dishonored. “Here’s the map, here’s your objectives, go complete the mission” and I love levels like that. As said in this video and others there are many mechanics but the various difficulty settings including a custom one allow anyone to play the way they want really. I’m gonna play through this and then eventually pick up 5 or play it through gamepass (if it’s still up by the time I beat this.) I’ve heard 5 is not considered as good as 4 but I’m still curious. Oh the guy here said he got it for $5 on pc I think. For reference I got it for my series s. Not sure how often it goes on sale then but even if it’s $30 or $40 I think it’s worth it (with all dlc. I do feel the season passes are a bit high prices unless you play multiplayer too. Just my opinion.
Short answer: Yes Long answer: Yes, because it still holds up extremely well today. I prefer stealth games in the fashion of Chaos Theory to more open world games like this one, but even if you're not a fan like me it still offers lots of fun. Play on easy if you want to be overpowered and on authentic if you want a good challenge.
I remember playing this game back in 2017. The overall map design is better than its sequel. The only downside is poor anti-aliasing tech used in this game which is blurry and shimmering even at 4k resolution.
Im a tad bit late, but do any of you guys recommend SE 4 or SE 5? SE 5 is cheaper on steam and has better graphics, but SE 4 from what i heard is better gameplay wise
@@reels4you2005 A little late, i bought five, i quite frankly dont see whats wrong with five its a good game. (albeit sniping positions are hardish to come by

I just reinstalled it yesterday and have a couple of hundred hours in it. It is definitely the BEST in the series. v5 was nerfed. No big open areas, linear pathways with invisible walls, dumber AI, lots of mine types removed.
good question i did buy it but regret it....silent kills alert loads.a truck blown up feet from an enemy he nither sees nor hears it..a silent pistol that alerts loads of enemy,s a stone alerting enemy,s from afar way afar..a whistle that alerts enemy,s from way afar.deffo not worth buying...sniper elite 5 yes that was more better

The digital deluxe edition is currently £3 on the PlayStation store at the moment, it's a no brainer.

Considering that it is 10 euros more expensive than 5 in steam it says it all
Please do all sniper elite games please
It's now $5 because of the playstation 30th anniversary, which makes the game 75% off.
Yes you should. Forget about 5 if you ain't played them before, SE4 is the GOAT
