100%, thanks for bringing this up, there are quiet a few UI benefits of Abelton that I'm jealous of hahah. Absolute setting helps but its still janky and needs updating
Thank you for making content that feels like it belongs here on UA-cam. Creative, exciting, inspiring, and over all awesome. This is why I’m on this platform. For content like this. Thank you.
If you haven't already checked them out I'd highly recommend Belmont. They fit in with this vibe! I watch everyweek and always in awe of your writing and guitar! Sick work my dude. Love it!
Yes the snap is SOOOOO bad! Just bought at v11, called in to find out why I can’t rearrange channel strips in mixer. Techs mind was blown you can’t. He didn’t understand why you couldn’t.
I don't usually mind working in logic, but it refuses to run smoothly on my 2018 MacBook pro. Crashes everytime I close a project and try opening a new one, constant overload even with the biggest buffer size and now a new bug where I get this clickish sound and no audio plays. It just died in the last couple of months. Really annoying.
I'm not a big fan of this type of 'metal' music, but actually this sounded sick... maybe turn this one into a full instrumental song? That would be really cool!
Depending on who’s using the phrase, double drop either means your not dropping it one octave lower but two times IE: D1 instead of D2 So technically that would just be down tuning if everything is, but the double drop usually refers to extended range instruments where it would be D1 - A1 - D2 with D2 being standard the rest of the way on an 8 string.
The only thing you're missing is Devin Townsend on this jam, you should ask him lol. He would crush any chorus you have in mind for this key and tempo. just saying lol
Smartsnap is truly insane, it’s like it magically knows exactly what I would never ever want.
for REAL
@@nickbroomhallmusic Smartsnap is set to relative value by default. Changing it to absolute value might help.
@@arturpetrovic Logic changed when I found this out lol

Dude your production skills are insane. The way everything pops is wicked, keep these up brother brother !!
Another banger riff! These thick riffs Thursday's have been a huge push for me as inspiration to write more! Thank you kindly!
thick riff thursday: Porter robinson
i approve heavy
tbh this riff could use a little scro
woop woop
Ultimate crossover
The little cuts on the scratches did so much more than I expected
Loving the new BMTH record, glad to see you're adapting that crazy hyperpop/breakcore style in
That's sounding great, glad you're enjoying HyperRig Kiesel!
Thanks so much! This plugin rips!
That was awesome Nick!
Sounds amazing!!
Enter Shikari vibes!!❤
Bilmuri rules. And that lead at 8:49 has Dr Phil energy
Manifesting Ableton Tuesdays into existence. Banger riff as usual!
So fresh and so clean, clean! More stuff with samples and production!
Nick channeling his inner German and making the new Electric Callboy tune before they can
If you haven't already checked them out I'd highly recommend Belmont. They fit in with this vibe!
I watch everyweek and always in awe of your writing and guitar! Sick work my dude. Love it!
These videos are super inspiring. Killer riff
As always, incredible how you just drop a banger out of nowhere every time
Bro pulled a rings of saturn with the halftime record 😂

I so look forward to Thursday
The guitars sound like volumes
I've said this before, but your compositions are always amazing. Best riffs on youtube.
Givin me some Intervals vibes alittle. Diggin!

my favorite thick riff was the sonic adventure 2 episode. im so stoked
Sounds like it would be a song off of the new Intervals album

Thanks dude!! I'm using a couple other kits for layering too
Instant like before I even watch cause it’s the best day of the week!
damn my favourite arch echo song nice job covering
This slaps!

Still waiting for Thick Riff Sessions on Bandcamp!!
I’m convinced this man can write a song in a genre.. discovered or undiscovered 🤣
Please turn this into a full song.
TRT SESSION 2 DATE ANNOUNCED RAHHHH (crazy riff btw holy guacamole)
Enter Shikari used electribes and DnB samples, this sounds a bit like them to me, I like it!
Sithu Aye and Darko have entered the chat
What do you use to find those loops toward the beginning?
I've loved the hyperpop stuff from Trust Fund Ozu. Poison Ivy, SHINIGAMI, and J.K, ROWLING APOLOGY TRACK all go so hard.
yusss
tbh I am not very well versed in hyperpop so thank you for the recs
"part of me want to learn ableton" yo whats good i can teach you
Sick man! 🤟Where are are you getting the samples/loops from?
Let's be honest. It's the 'Bring me' running in your veins.
I can just feel a sort of breakdown coming after that, one that could be sort of similar to the first breakdown in Physical Education by AAL.
What is the key command you use at 7:55? Need to put that in my editing workflow!
Djenter Shikari
Does your membership detail how you make your drums sound that good? Mine sound so flat
Yes the snap is SOOOOO bad! Just bought at v11, called in to find out why I can’t rearrange channel strips in mixer. Techs mind was blown you can’t. He didn’t understand why you couldn’t.
Can we get a if Polaris and All that Remains wrote a riff together next week?
That drum loop sounds like the one for the Powerpuff Girls theme song, lol.
In a world where Nick doesn't quantize EVERY instrument...(scary)
The synth is tasty!!!
How'd you record it at half speed?
I don't usually mind working in logic, but it refuses to run smoothly on my 2018 MacBook pro. New trt always makes me djent my pants😊
Listening to a lot of berried alive huh?
Isn't Berried Alive like super heavy? haha
The rhythm sounds like Racecar
Oh yeah it does 😂
Tbh this would be a great intro for TRT
What's the plugin with loops at 2:26?
an app called Splice
Literally a maidcore :D
Bro since when is Hughie from the Boys making djent beats? Anyways sick riff
How do you track at half speed on logic?
I do it in kind of a lazy way. I just record it at half the speed, then speed it up by using the flex tool to make the region half the length
Start learning ableton and take us with u on your ride man ❤️
by the way, folks, hyperpop is dead, i know this because the pioneers of the genre have said so
😂😂😂

Nick making an anime intro this Thursday?!
Dude two things: can you explain to me what is double drop tuning? The second thing is: you remaind me of Eric Foreman

You need to send this to a singer
You SHOULD learn ableton... (because i use ableton :) )
I'll probably never mix in Ableton but for producing, it seems like the move
Smart mode STUPID. Thanks a lot, Steve Jobs.
