Good stuff! Love the micro truck. Might have to design / print one myself!
Lower those wheelie bars down.. the front is coming up way to high at tha launch.. remember... you can’t steer with your front wheels in the air..also add some weight to the left front.. it will help it launch straighter
Beautiful racers. That micro dragster is the shits..👍👍👍
Thank You! Brotha for the Awesome video and the Vette body is absolutely awesome looking and you just helped me with making up my mind on what body to get it was originally between the jconcepts Mustang and the Vette but now that I actually get to see the Vette body on a Team Associated B5M I’m sold on it because I have a RC10-B6 and a RC10-SC5M that I have been working on and I cannot wait until I get done with this badazz Drag Whip I just ordered my TRINITY BRUSHLESS 2.5T MONSTER HORSEPOWER GODZILLA DRAG MOTOR!!! I already got a TRINITY BRUSHLESS 5.5T MONSTER HORSEPOWER “THE REVENGE” GODZILLA RACE MOTOR in my RC10-B6 and it is absolutely wicked fast and I have a TRINITY 7.5T D4 BRUSHLESS RACE MOTOR in my RC10-SC5M SHORT COURSE RACING TRUCK and I know how stupid fast they make these race whipz go so I just can’t wait till I get the drag motor and get it put in my drag whip all that I can say is let the tire melting begin LoL ha ha ha ha ha ha 😎✝️😎 GOD BLESS ✝️
Thank you!
That's cool 👍😎!
Bro the Vette body is sweeeet.
Yea that's sik bro!!! On truck adjust wheelie bar. It did chatter but not much. But it would be cool to see a wire chassis flex chassis
Thanks!
Nice presentation Dude..... nice cars to ....... keep it up
Thank you!!
4:13 That looks amazingly like the real cars when they stack em up!
Thanks 👍
I dig the baby Larry Larson s10😉
that truck is sooooo sick!
Thanks! I needs some work but it's a fun concept!
Love that little truck!
Thanks!!
Awesome job man car is killer and I love that micro Mini truck very very surprising
Thank you!!
That’s pretty cool dude!
Thanks!
That’s very cool
Put weights in the front so it won’t come up
I LOVE THE S-10 !!!! I want one !!!! I own a 2000 S-10 extreme extra cab,,,and it's red
I uploaded the first few pieces to Shapeways this morning to get them printed. Once I confirm they are all good, they will be available to purchase on Shapeways
Like the paint on the RC
Thank you!
This is awesome
I love your micro mini S10🏁👍👀👍🏁
Hi want that shell. I have a 1/10 scale crawler s10 shell I need to find a chassis for.
Great runs and nice body’s I just put together a Arrma typhon 6s and stretched it
432 RC Otero BROTHA THAT THING IS GOING TO BE CRAZY FAST MY FRIEND HAS ONE THAT IS COMPLETELY STOCK AND I KNOW HOW FAST THAT IT IS SO YOU ARE GOING TO BE RUNNING A HIGHLY MODIFIED ONE I CAN NOT EVEN IMAGINE HOW STUPID FAST THAT THING IS GOING TO BE BROTHA MAN LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU GET DONE WITH IT COMPLETELY AND PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO OF IT MAKING A PASS OR 2 I CAN NOT WAIT UNTIL THEN WHEN YOU GET DONE WITH IT BROTHA 😎✝️😎GOD BLESS ✝️✝️✝️ SINCERELY CLAY B.
@@claybrown1619 there's a video up on my channel
Awesome setup you have there...
Thanks!
that looks awesome
Thank You!
New subscriber here, looking forward to more videos like this. Try adjusting the preload on the right shock. I'm new to this segment of the hobby but so far everyone says when it pulls to one side, adjusting preload on the opposite side should help.
Thanks for your support! I agree suspension plays a huge part in these cars. I have a background in full scale drag racing and its the same way. I definitely have a lot of suspension tuning to do!
Love the vids man
Thanks! 👍
Great video love the corvette body. Also was wondering what wheelie bar that was and how you were able to adjust it like that?
Thank you! The wheelie bar is from rc racing innovations. It pivots on the bottom to set the height. What I did was adjusted only one side to "twist" it, making one side higher than the other
Great video, thanks. What christmas tree timing system is that being used for your drag strip and timing? Thanks.
appologies, i see it's the Traxxas DTS1 system. thx..
@@kevinvalentine5235 yep its the dts1
What diff oil are you using are you running traxxas motor and speed control
In this video I was running a locked diff, I've since switched to an open diff and have 500k fluid in it. And no, I'm not running Traxxas electronics.
Can you run any esc and motor in any competition or does just depend on race and your car rocks
It depends on the class you run in and your local groups but most don't really have a limit on electronics
I'm building a slaster I'm learning a lot good look. Oh that mini is 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks! My car isn't slash based, but I hope my videos can help you out with yours!
@@FullThrottleRC your videos are very informative those shuttle adjustment help like a real dragster I'm a mechanic and build a few cars in my day I'm retired now. Damn near the same your good keep it up.
@@rawiswar1969able Thanks!
After the wreck...."Eh. It'll buff out." 😂
😂😂😂
If it goes right tighten the right shock
One more question does the c rating let you go faster I run 7.4 traxxas 2s 25 c discharge rate
C rating is essentially the amp discharge, so higher C rating is higher current so a higher C rate battery will push the car faster.
Cool
I think with a little spring and shock adjustment all the way around you could get it even more straight.very impressed either way it’s hard to get a good drag run rc cars are too lightweight for asphalt.
It's definitely running a lot better now. This was some of my first passes with the car.
COOL
👍👍
Adjust your slipper so you don't pop the front end and get out of the hole smoother with more control.
I agree and promis smoother and strai, ter is faster if I were near some ,smoke,..and show how it's done then u can go shove smoke, down all others throughts
I didn't see you mention it, whose wheelie bar are you using?
Rc racing innovations
If you want to get nice Street launches with the front wheels up in the air you need to change the different fluid to a thicker fluid
I actually run a locked diff.
Try using car rim balancing weights. I used a torch to melt 3 together then installed them in the front of my dragster. Works great.
I picked up some clay recently to balance the wheels. Maybe I can try some of that to add a little weight if I want
Do you think swapping bodies helped with the aerodynamics and downforce? It looks like it did
It's definitely possible. I switch back and forth between bodies as I like the looks of both of them. Maybe I'll try to do some experimenting on that
I need to know what the s10 is and how to build/buy one
It's a micro drag truck I built. I have a few videos on the channel about it that you can check out if you're interested, including where to get the 3D Printing files or printed parts.
You should get belted tires for it that would help a lot with the tire ballooning nice job👍
what kind of rc is the mini truck? that thing looks awesome
Its a custom build I made using slot car parts. If you are interested in building one, check out the Micro Drag Truck video on my channel.
Where did you end up getting that wheelie bar for the B5M? Wicked looking builds btw!
Ed Siggy that’s probably a jconcepts sc 6.1 wheelie bar
Thank you! It's actually one of the traxxas slash wheelie bars, I think it was rc drag innovations or something. It's mounted using a bracket that was 3d printed by shapeways. The link to the bracket was on the page for the wheelie bar

Measure the rear tire diameter? Almost seems like you have stagger (like my sprint car for example) cause it to consistently pull right, that or one of the rear springs is sagging causing one corner to bite harder..
Just my 1 cent ;)
Appreciate the input! I think I got it pretty dailed in now... Until I put more power to it anyway 😂😂
Maybe too much Ballooning of rear tires throw it off too. So maybe belted tires. i also agree to add weights
Just wondering why you don't heat your tires up a little bit. Would help with the traction and lower the willie bars down to keep the front end down some. I believe it would hook up much better if you would hit the bleach box and put a little bit of heat in them tires. But I'm no rc expert nore a real life drag racing expert. But I do know some basic stuff
Although I don't actually use water like in full scale drag racing, I still do a burnout before every pass. I've been using a temp gun recently to check the temperatures of each tire before the pass. This helps me stay consistent with making passes at around the same temperature as well as making sure one tire isn't getting hotter than the other.
Maybe it would help if u could use something other than metal bearings for the wheels on the wheelie bar. Some type polyurethane or rubber coating on them or mini skateboard wheels of some type would keep the car a lil straighter being tht the wheelie bar would also have a lil traction to help keep it straight. The lil rubber wheels will grab. One other risky thing is cutting the wheelie bar and adding a couple of mini-z or 1/18th scale shocks in the middle or somewhere along the top of the wheelie bar to absorb some of the wheelie preventing the bounce frm making the car change directions
I actually 3d printed some tires for the wheelie bar wheels out of ninja flex which is basically like a rubber. It works pretty well so far.
Either put the heaviest diff lube there is in your diff or get a spoil. And loosen up the slipper
I have since fully locked the diff and have been having more success. Make sure to check out some of my newer videos to see the progress I've made!
How can I build one of my own 1/10 drag cars ? Also where can I buy wheels and tires ?
The car can be built from many different chassis. You can check out my build series if you are interested in the Team Associated car. There are many different options for wheels and tires especially from Jconcepts and Proline. Look for their street eliminator stuff.
FullThrottleRC thank you very much I was wanting to build like a Supra Verizon of this to look like my car and since I never seen import chassis
Turn down the streeing dual rate to have better control on mid to top end. Looking good.
This! I did this and it's so much easier to control the car now
I think your chassis is twisting a bit under acceleration and adding to the veering problem. Also, check to see that all four tires have equal weight on them.
Not sure about the chassis twist since it's a solid aluminum chassis. I know it technically could twist but I'm thinking the tires are spinning too much for that to happen. There is no way all four tires could weigh the same since the fronts are smaller than the rear.
can you put a lnk for the mini drag car
I have a whole build video with links to everything on my channel. You can check it out if you are interested.
ua-cam.com/video/BLScV7wBHFk/v-deo.html
Are these custom built cars or can you buy them?
Custom built. The Street Eliminator can be built by buying an existing car and modifying it.
Would weighing down the front help
Turn your back tires inside out and wrap the inside with 1" duck tape or electric tape 2 or 3 times. It'll help big time with ballooning on your tires, get you a better grip and straighter line.
Thanks for the suggestion!
I noticed right after you crashed and switched to the Vette body is started launching alot straighter.
Yep! I love the vette body and hate to mess it up, but it helps the car perform the best so far. I have another body on the way though.
Nice set up. What motor ?
The car originally had a Reedy 7t motor, I'm not running a Trinity Drag Master 3.5t
Adjust that slipper clutch or firgue somewhere to launch with less power and have the power ramp in after the launch
I'm definitely working on the launch. The Mamba X has some great features for controlling the power off the line that I'm learning and playing around with.
Can you make a video about the big monster truck rc? And your rc is fast
Thanks! If you are talking about my Axial SMT10, I have a few videos on it on my channel and have some videos planned for it coming up!
I used to drag race slot cars if you didn't have that Willy bar down just right you spell out wreck all the time I think if you lower that wheelie bar down just a 16th of an inch more it stopped coming up on a willy and drive straight you probably get faster speeds
Thanks for the suggestions. I'm pretty happy with the way I have the car launching now. Check out some of my more recent videos to see how it does.
I want to know more about the 24th scale RC drag truck.
Check out the video on it posted on my channel. I'd be glad to answer any other question you have on it!
Is that a custom chassis or a ready to run ?
The street eliminator is an Associated B5m stretched out using the SC5m chassis. The micro truck is a custom 3d printed chassis.
@@FullThrottleRC what is the rim set up ?
@@boostedsaleen6146 Proline on the street eliminator. Been trying a few different tires. The micro truck is pro track slot car wheels and tires
Weigh down the front?
Where do they put weight on front at ?
@@sammygonzalez7627 I don't know where they do but wherever you can and as low as possible
Tires are ballooning waaaaayyyyy to much bruh! Loosen up the slipper a bit
I just changed to a firmer tire and have way less ballooning now.
Not tire foams switch to stiffer foams
Are you just doing sixty foot passes?
66 feet. It's a 1/10th scale 1/8th mile and that's all I have room for right now unfortunately.
Hey man. Where you at? I’m in port Allen. I see the sugarcane and your accent 😂
Small town right in between New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Been doing more testing with the drag car in Baton Rouge lately
I know what the deal is with the car going in different directions.
Those Titus bead locks are Crawler wheels 2.2 by 1.5 with
Your are running proline tires that are for stadium truck 2.2 by 2.0 with.
That means you have 1/2 inch extra meat on tires that creates more sag when your running.
You need 2.2 by 2.0 wheels and if you tape them then you got your self a tire thats wider than anything that is sold by jconcepts and proline for drag racing, more tire on ground means more grip more traction.
But you need a wheel thats going to fit the body because all RC bodys
are about 11.5 inches wide.
RPM makes a wheel that's 2.2 by
2.0 RPM Revolver (Narrow) must be narrow other you need to modify body. Dont look for beadlock 2.2 by 2.0 no one makes them. Or get 2.2 by 1.5 Buggy tires for 2wd buggy those will fit.
The Titus wheels I'm using are actually made for the 1/16th E-Revo. I can't say if they are 1.5" wide like the crawler Titus wheels or wider. I'll have to measure them and see
What scale is the mini??
Around 1/25th
@@FullThrottleRC where did you get the body??
It's a slot car body. I bought it off a website that sells a bunch of slot car stuff. Don't remember the name
@@FullThrottleRC whats the wheel base on it??
Stiffen a spring on the rear may stop it from squatting to much on the right side
I definitely want it to squat but it could be squatting too much on one side. I'll have to get some more slow motion footage and take a look at it.
@@FullThrottleRC yeah you want it to squat or other wise it's to stiff and could blow the tires off the hit, it's pulling right so your hooking the left hard to turn it right if you get what i meanand the slowmo would look cool love the builds tho. if love to see it may just have to make one now
Lock the diff it’ll help with going straight down the lane
Garrett Jacobsen i also noticed it’s definitely diffing out
I have locked the diff since this video was made and it helped a ton.
Nice channel
Thanks!
You did a great job on the paint job on both body’s
👍
this short truck to mod?
It's a buggy with a short course chassis.
Is he run 2s or 3a tho
I run only 2s in my No Prep Car
you should do the dr10
Seems like the bodies have an effect of its forward momentum. Stick with the low profile C7 body
I agree. I think the c7 has more downforce helping the car stay planted. I just picked up the new Proline 69 Nova body so I'll be trying that one out soon.
@@FullThrottleRC the 69 Nova body is better as a shelf piece than a functional drag car body.ive build 3 69 Nova's this summer and that body is not good for drags. I have it slammed and it still catches air and lifts and blows over at speed.
@@johnjunker5595 Man that sucks to hear. I have one on the way already so I'll at least give it a try I guess.
You should tape the tire so it will not pizza cutter on you. Guys here in the 808 doing the 66 feet in 1.5 s /1.6s
I've changed tire compounds and it's reduced the ballooning a bunch. Check out some of my newer videos and you can see it's much better. I haven't had a chance to bring out the timing system on my current setup yet so I'm not sure what it's running right now.
HEY BROTHER WHERE AND HOW ARE YOU GUYZ GETTING DOWN AT YA RACE SPOTS AND DOES THE PO-PO BOTHER YA AT ALL
Where I run is behind town center really close to my house. I don't have anything problems running there because I'm out of the way. The club that runs in my area runs in a mall parking lot and I believe they have permission to run there.
Yea Po Po will bust ur ass if ur caught doing this behind abandoned crack houses ,facts
You may want to swap those titus wheels and those prime tires for a more conventional drag tire.
Look at those donuts on your warmup burn out.
The car looks like a snake going fast in all directions.
Get some belted tires or tape them and you will see a Big difference.
I agree. This was my first test so I was still learning. If you check out some of my more recent videos you'll see that there's a lot less ballooning. I'm also working on another video with another method to prevent the ballooning.
Use like 1000 weight in front shocks
What gearing you using?
Currently running 81t spur and 22t pinion if I remember correctly. Haven't changed the gearing in a while
@FullThrottleRC i designed a 3dprinted dragster but was dissapointed because it only did 17mph. So thanks imma try your gear setup. I was recommended an axial tranny from the wraith, so thats what im running with a 5200kv motor and 26t and a 87t gear setup... Any more tips to get it up to speed?
@@DarkWarriormgc 17mph with that setup is really low. Sounds like you don't have enough power. Maybe a setting in the ESC or something is limiting the car
Right?! Thats what i thought... I was thinking getting a new motor since my esc is already rated for 120amp continuous. Maybe a surpasshobby rovket v4 4turn... Im kinda on a budget but that one goes for about $80
Btw you guys know any group in san diego, ca to race with?
Great video. Launching straight now?
Pretty close! Getting a lot of good tips from viewers that I'm trying out. Seems to be launching straight but still having some traction issues down track. I have a few more tricks up my sleeve!
Wheelie bars is pushing it you can see the right is hitting the ground first causing it to push right just like a real drag car
@@nicolemoore6576 I believe if the right side of the wheelie bar his first it would push the car left. That's not a big issue anymore though as I've got the car launching pretty well!
FullThrottleRC you would think but it causes the right rear to unload and drive right
FullThrottleRC I have a 69 nova was big block n20 big tire car I’m in the process of swapping in a turbo5.3
The wheelie bar has to be almost as wide as the car, & longer than a real car, & barely off the ground just enough for the back tires to compress at takeoff.
I'm curious why it should be as wide as the car. A wheelie bar that wide seems like it would be flexible and not stay rigid from side to side.
awesome! that 1/24 is cool at 21 mph.. I have a1/24 funny that does 40 mph..
Wow! Bet that's pretty hard to control!
@@FullThrottleRC Insane!! will post a vid to my channel and tag you in it.. also running a 1/24 top fuel thats been clocked at 37.6.. Give me a minute and I will paste a link to that one..

@@makeitpunk6716 Looks pretty cool! Maybe its just that video, or the carpet, but that doesn't look like it launches near as hard as the 1/24 car I made. I'd never guess that could do 32mph based on that video.

Look into JDS racing for rear wheels pro track tires/rubber isn’t the greatest
I'll look into it. Thanks!
FullThrottleRC no problem
You need to put some more Weight in the front
I suggest check out some of my more recent videos to see how the car is performing now. Everyone's suggestions have helped a ton!
try running a gyro for stabalizing.
That's not allowed in NPRC rules so I can't really do that. It would take a lot of the fun of tuning and driving out of it too honestly.
I’d say take the tires apart and tape them. That should help alot
That was my first thought. I'm currently trying the stiffer compound tires and they seem to balloon way less
FullThrottleRC you want a softer tire and just tape them and reassemble the tires
I have had issues with those wheels. Those are the 2.2 prolines right? Any suggestions? I run 2s in a drag slash although I am currently building an Associated based drag car.
@@davidwlee0351 yep they are the Proline 2.2 Beadlocks. What problems are you having with them?
If you would add some anti-squat to the slash, it would keep the front tires on the ground so you could actually drive the car. Pulling wheelies is absolutely useless
Make sure to check out some of my newer videos to see the progress the car has made!
Man the body got twisted up sorry I love that body mine is green maybe check it out love this older video 👍👍💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yea I was pretty surprised how banged up it was without cracking! That body is now more of a show piece in my collection 😂😂
I wanna see u convert the times to real scale times. I may be stopped because if it's already scaled to 1/8 mile is that mean it's running a 2 sec pass. ? Somebody help me math makes my skin itch.
Since I scaled down the 1/8 mile to 1/10th scale, which is 66ft., those time would be the actual "scale times". Yes that does seem insane but these cars do have a lot of power for their scale.
@@FullThrottleRC Tru. Thanks. That's insane
do people say u sound like Bobby Boucher aka the water boy
Never heard that one before. A few people have been saying my voice is annoying so I'll take Bobby Boucher anyday lol
put some weight in the front to keep helping it stay down
I'm actually over weight for the street eliminator class already and don't want to add anymore. I may try shifting the battery forward a bit if the wheelies hurt my performance
@@FullThrottleRC yes because if it wheelies down the track that will be a problem
