What happened to the engine mount video on the driver side I saw the video once and now it disappeared what is going on with u guys send can u put video back
Great info, Thanks! 2011 Sonata GLS not sport suspension. I am not sure I have that part my rear mount is this one example DEA / MARMON RIDE CONTROL A7170. I looked at the engine from the top and could not see it. I can't get under it right now. Any comments on that. Thx. Note on my year there appears to be a sport suspension option. And if you do not know the history of the vehicle, say you bought a used car, and one mount is bad, I suggest replacing them all. If 1 and 2 are bad, 3 and 4 are the same age and have been overstressed for a long time due to the failure of 1 and 2. Then 3 and 4 fail in a 12 months and overstress 1 and 2 leading to at the least vibration and motor movement and early failure.
My Hyundai Elantra is vibrating when I stop at a traffic light when in Drive position, once I start moving is all good . A mechanic inspected and told me that the same part, engine torque strut mount, was damage. My question is...changing just that part will fix the problem or do I need to change all the mounts?
might want to also have the torque converter checked as well that can also happen when they start to wear out that same thing happens in a 98 park avenue ultra
Hey my 2011 Hyundai Sonata vibrates a lot when it’s on drive and my foot is on brake. It’s doesn’t have a check engine lights on but I changed the spark plugs and ignition coils, also replaced all 3 motor mounts but it still vibrates badly. What could be the cause
You ever figure out what it was? I’m literally going through the same exact thing. I changed coils and plugs and was just about to replace the mounts until I read your comment. Any fix for it?
Open the radiator cap and start vehicle. If the coolant rises, congrats you have a blown head gasket. Loss of compression will cause rough idle, hindered performance and similar issues.

This car is obviously a 2.4L GLS but the mount is for a 2.0L and so is the link in the description. I'm confused

that mount does not support any type of weight from the engine XD it just that the engine doesnt move back and fort so u dont need a jack at all
