That " no lava bucket " rule is kinda silly considering this mod was made to make you use ALL TOOLS AT YOUR DISPOSAL. Including lava buckets. If the infection gets bad enough, it spawns airships, siege monsters, spawner beasts, etc. A bucket of lava will not stop all of that. The point is that you may stop one or two infections, but just one infected block left uncleansed will turn into a whole new infection a thousand blocks away in some cave... and from that cave will pour forth monsters that will go infect terrain and with that terrain infected, even more will spawn out in the open and eventually it will have a massive network of infection covering the terrain. Lava buckets are pretty much required and even recommended by the mod maker, as is making defensive contraptions like push traps. Mostly because they will not work forever. It would honestly be cool to see you do a 100 days modded survival inspired by the movie the thing, where you go survive an outbreak of some kind in an Antarctic map with a temperature mod and an abandoned old base you have to repair/repower. Make it the Mustard institute's furthest lab or something, and everyone mysteriously disappeared and you have to go explore it, and you find the infection. You could have a dog sled mod maybe, and penguins!
The facility at 1:56:30 can generate with the info and tools you need to help purify the world the of the fungal infection. Sucks you didn't find anything there. The structures are not very common either which can make finding things a pain. The lab blocks they are built out of are extremely durable and calamities (the bosses) can't break them. Any giant cube/fort thing being built means there's a hive mind at its center. As you saw, it's really bad to have. More boss creatures will be created there like a factory. If you destroy the pods in their juvenile stages (not the biggest one) they will not hatch. The story of the mod itself is that secret research company/government were making this fungal bio weapon and it got out of hand. That's why you'll see some death messages say "you forgot [creature] was a bio weapon." The snowballs, surprisingly, actually do do damage to infected. Just not much. They hate the cold as it weakens them. Not sure if Serene Seasons' colder seasons affect them. Cold biomes will. Surprised you didn't include any extra weaponry like guns. Sure it would make it much easier to fight off hordes and maybe bosses, at least in the beginning, but your ammo depletion rate with how many enemies you were facing I think would balance that out pretty quickly.
That helicopter ending was so cinematic wow! I did not realize that freezies were just a Canadian thing. They were a pretty common thing for us in the summer here in Canada so it’s kinda surprising they don’t have them down south

I hope in the past three months you had time to find a UA-camr that appeals to the epitome of comedic genius that is someone with the name " ppbuttocks " - a clear connoisseur of comedic genius and only the highest brow of comedy.
Lol.
6:27 Sean once said “keep digging” like Robert was a slave 💀🙏
2:27:15
Honestly an infection scenario like this would go hard with 8 or 10 people playing
Bro their entire conversation about Freezies had me rolling😂😂 great video my dudes!
Anyone else genuinely despise the loud ass sunflower seed chewing mid recording 😭
Eating sunflower seeds while recording a minecraft video is peak chad behavior. I wish I had that kind of confidence
Ik a lot of people definitely do, but i personally find it really funny
@@angrydoggi yea, I’m sure it doesn’t bother most people but I have a thing called misophonia where I just can’t listen to people smacking on food
@@larkynblue5257 ahh no i must not have worded it well, i meant i believe it probably bothers most people.
@@angrydoggioh nah you phrased it right I just misread your message mb
1:51:58 “Robert there’s a ghost!” Why did that one sentence make me laugh so hard😭🙏
i cant help but think how adorable it would be to have a Mustard Institute anthology series. The company starting simple but "accidentally" creating nuclear weapons which cause a fallout and then during that time using people/employees to mutate to combat that which wind up going wrong and causing another incident. Then having each different anthology following a different team within Forge Labs itself!
We need compilation of Sean screaming "ROBERT"
“Robert there’s a ghost” - a man dealing with a vanilla Minecraft mob
The fact that the spider monster thing was surfacing IN THE BASE was cinematic and hilarious!!! 😂😂😂
The ant attack was too real. I was playing Minecraft with a friend once and a spider bit me irl, I yelled out "a spider is attacking me" and my friend went "Where?"
I just love how you narrate these videos and how long they are, It keeps me entertained so well
"Researchers were sent out to investigate & research this unknown mushroom spreading its spores."
Researchers:
- Doesn't contain the infected area
- Punch the infected mushroom
- Make soup from the brains of one of the infected creatures
- Builds their base right next to the infected mushroom
----------------------
Also dw; I remember freezies~
bro you're not funny omds please abeg you delete this comment
I mean, it wouldn't spread if they contained it. They could easily beat this thing with lava or containing it in a dome from the beginning, but they don't cause this is for entertainment purposes.
@@cougar9610 Except it was disproven that glass prevented spread. That, and enemies could break glass.
You could make the argument that it'd be also compelling and entertaining to see if they could stop it from spreading, but I digress~
Just when I think he’s covered every apocalyptic scenario, he returns with another!
Can't help but think about Grian's mycelium war...
yall (shadow, forge, robert and kim) should do a horror apocalypse with some horror/scp/parasite-skulk-fungus-infection mod all together. it could be something like I SURVIVED 100 DAYS IN THE END OF THE WORLD - MUSTARD INSTITUTE COLLAPSE or somn
Agreed. But to balance everything out, they also get to use OP mods in order to defend themselves. If it's the end of the world, why bother holding back?
Sean: Let's build a glass dome for no reason.
Winged fungal entity: It seems you need a reason right now.
The fungus creatures look really creepy but cool at the same time.
Update: why so many likes?!?!
Update again: Who where is subscribed to Forge Labs?
I hate that your right
I'm just enjoying the Lolbit Pfp
It’s sadly the same video as his parasite videos but reskinned lol 😂
@@RoyaltyBoxing
Scape and Run parasites and Fungal Infection are two different mods that work completely different from each other. Whilst it is the same BASIC concept, besides from the base of surviving from an infection mods, the mods themselves are very different from each other.
@@voiddragon7549 thanks 👍
0:22 behold, A TREE!
I don't know why but i understand where Robert is going with those spicy sunflower seeds
Foot fungus evolved
Foot fungus: the parasite
Athletes Foot Evolved:The sequel

Its crazy that most of us have went from short format content to sitting here watching 4-hour videos most of us wouldn’t remain in a theatre for. Bravo
usually, eating sounds bother me a lot but the never-ending bit with the sunflower seeds was probably my favorite part of the video. Im so happy this man got to have his snack.
Since the story is that the mustard Institute told you to survey the threat and watch it grow. i thought of a crazy idea where instead of watching the threat grow. u try an infiltrate(go into your old 100 day worlds) and clear out the infections with military force(gun mods, tank mods, ect..) i feel like the idea would be really interesting to see you take down or have trouble to take down some of the bigger bads
I love that idea!!
47:51 the moment sean sees the fish disappeared, his frustration was hilarious
Sean: I don't want to spend the whole video going after one enchant
Also Sean: Goes after 1 chest-piece the whole video
Another amazing video! Very entertaining throughout :D
58:55 a little persuasion is an understatement
Theres no better duo that Sean and Robert
Stupidity and big brain idea
Isn't that just sean?
Sean and Kim
Sean and Kim, total brainrot team
I don't even enjoy playing Minecraft anymore, but I always ALWAYS watch Sean's videos. I love the way he commentates his game. Hoping to see some more challenges versing other players in the future!
the mouth noises from the sunflower seeds is killing me x . x
Hey man I’m just a random long time fan.
Like rally long time.
Sometimes I really miss your halo videos and how forge labs was made as a Forge from halo labs but dude RN you are killing it!!!!!! And I’m sure your happy and pray you are but I’m glad we transferred to curse forge Minecraft….
Cheers to you 🥂
Hello
1:49:00 the village has a lot of cows around it, Sean has bad omen... Kills cows and enters village... lol.
3:06:10 sean building up out of water instead of swimming is def top 10 forge labs moments of all time
"There's a creeper!"
"Aw man."
IM DEAD
Creeper, aw maaaaan, so we back in the mine swinging are pick from side to side, side side to side
Would love to see this as a video!
The legend has dropped another banger 💪
In your next 100 days, could you try out Pathogen ? It is kind of an infection mod that creates mutated versions of different biomes and creatures.
i need that
@@steveplayzzz_muffintime Yep would be quite cool in my opinion
Forgelabs is the only Minecraft youtuber who gets me excited for their videos
1:36:19 The raid probably didn't trigger because the game didn't count the area you were in as a village, since it was a modded structure.
"Robert, the helicopter!"
*STARES AT ABSOLUTELY NOTHING*
MustardLabs might be the reason for the corona outbreak and we wouldn't ever know 💀
I would not be surprised
Sounds about right 💀
Maybe
I love it how Robert and Sean just started talking about freezies
That's why you'll see some death messages say "you forgot [creature] was a bio weapon."
The snowballs, surprisingly, actually do do damage to infected.
We have other more popular options
We have zooper doopers in Australia
Man those sunflowers were doing something to Sean, bro was moaning
Waiting in a railway station. 4 hours to go. The timing couldn't have been more better!
im so obsessed with how robert feels like sean's little evil sidekick. idk how to explain it. but i love them as a duo so much
