This something Shadow would do in his 100 days on Minecreft.
Sean's script is the epitome of "it sounded cooler in my head".

If I ever did something like this, my ADHD brain would be unable to write a script and would just start saying shit off of notes I wrote. Would go just about as well as you could imagine

When he sticks to the script: "What is this script?? Why did I write this???"

I love how Sean has a literal night vision option for his cameras but never actually uses it
I suspect him from not even reading the controls to anything he ever uses unless it gets to the point he has to
It's clearly because he would see that as cheating, come on guys do better
@@TheCosmicUnicorn1Maybe, but me personally I don't really see why that would be cheating, I mean he only uses it to spectate so why not spectate comfortably?

The thing I like about Sean is that he never reads the mod description and is completely unprepared for the 100 series.

this comment is extremely confusing but that makes it good
What i understand is it means hes still human inside
It opens the door that canonically these assimilated animals still have some control over their body to enjoy the little things in life when they’re not in hunt mode
Or the parasite hive mind is so hell bent on assimilation its willing to spread to even the most simple of little creatures in hopes of spreading the infection

It’s like he’s two different people, Sean and ~shawn~
Sean getting angry at himself and what he writes in the script is the best part of these videos 😂😂
it's the worst part
Can i just say how great the music Sean uses is? It brings such great atmosphere and then he starts playing some silly song in the middle of it, before instantly switching back to the suspenseful music lol.
They said it was impossible. They said no one could survive the parasites, let alone a single man. But that one man, who survived the zombies, had done it. He survived the impossible, with his diamond saber and incendiary grenades and flamethrower in hand.
We salute you, Sean of Forge Labs.
I honestly kinda want to see him re-do this video but with a few friends as well. I'm curious how things would go. If he was barely able to survive 100 days by himself I wonder how long he could go with a group of friends
100 days is not enough for the parasites to get to it’s final form. Most likely that’s the reason he survived
@@Just_a_Piano_bro is putting him to misery
It's refreshing to see that Sean is learning to fight and hunt enemies instead of always running and hiding while screaming. Love this.
Best defense is a good offense
Yea, this specific scenario is perfect for him to learn how to fight because you needed to, cuz if you don't, the parasites would evolve way too fast for you to do anything
Yet it's called the scape and RUN mod! I want a refund! Tbf he did do a lot of running which you kind of have to in this mod.
As much as it can be frustrating to watch you gotta understand if one mob gets a lucky hit in that could be the end of a run, can’t imagine how annoying it would be to be on like day 40 and die to something that does 8 hearts of damage then having to try another 5 runs before you get a decent set up again to survive for 100 days, especially on this one with survival being so difficult.
yea probs to the mod making the parasite much more hostile if u not kill it so yeah probs to the mod
Watching a 3 hour minecraft hardcore mod pack has never been so entertaining, the quality of Sean’s videos make them enjoyable no matter how long they are.

Exactly, 100 day episodes are great and all, but you don’t get to see the how. That’s one thing I miss about good old let’s plays, you got to go through their world with them and attach to it, see how they got from one point to the next, something that most 100 days lack
And it’s as long as Avatar; the way of water
Ikr it feels so cinematic

so, you don't know this, but those hords that come at you each 10 days helped A LOT. Each time parasite is killed it reduses their points. So hord killing pushed away your demise by a large margion.
Not to come crash your party there, but the hordes mod somehow made it far worse for some strange reasons... ^^'
Killing assimilated parasites, what he mostly got, removes a single point, yet night one he got to phase 1, which is extremely huge in a survival world where you don't try to voluntarily make the parasites grow in like let's say in creative.
Probably that for some reason, every parasites that spawned counted as mobs being assimilated, thus giving 6 points for every assimilated mobs that spawned for the horde nights (not counting what those fellas killed and assimilated on the way to turn Sean's giblets into Tacos Bell sceptic tank goo).
Later on the primitive parasites that removes 50 aren't doing much since at that point he's on a pretty dangerous phase (On phase 4, which he did reach by the end, primitive parasites can start spawning naturally, but since phase 4 requires 10 000 points to reach and that primitive parasites only remove 50 on death, so even that reduction isn't much for the number of parasites spawning. (Also I pity Sean for not know that sleeping from phase 3 is a bad idea since parasites gain enormous amounts of points compared to what you can remove).
So yeah, although you are normally correct, especially when he takes down adapted parasites that removes 3 000 points per kills and even pure parasites later on that removes 10 000 points, the hordes mod seems to definitely steroid boost the parasite evolution points.
@@darkritetsuiho519 they gain 6 points for killing and assimilating a creature - assimilated mobs that spawn naturally do not add to the points
@@darkritetsuiho519dude you gotta reply back
I believe they also get points for getting kills, meaning it might end up doing more harm than good, seeing as he got to phase one on the first night
@@the_phantom_cat7912 They get one point per kill and parasites are far more powerful than vanilla mobs. Thus, yeah, especially in hordes, even if killing an assimilated substract one point they gain more than they lose alas... ^^'

@@jameswesten2018 ye
*SURVIVAL TIP:*
If there's *dungeons* like this, you can _repurpose the underground entrances_ into making into a *bunker.* Just line up the walls or make obsidian or stone blocks on all corners/pathways surrounding the stairwells (also add some lava for good measure) and use whatever means to create rooms for storage/enchantment/sleeping quarters. In some dungeons, there's some pre-made rooms complete with lanterns, bookshelf, and a bed like the one here: 42:54.
With flaming barbed wires. put single ones on hallways (if you made those) and scatter around incase if they break in.
yeah but, it's in a dungeon. So not only will you have a fuck ton of parasites but regular mobs that then can be turned into parasites. Which would just cause your death a lot quicker
@@Just_a_Piano_ i am aware about regular mobs + parasites spawning, especially in dark areas, i forgor to mention about placing down torches and destroying spawners beforehand. And they don't have to cover the whole dungeon, just part of it.

Great job getting as far as you did!
This vid is one of my more favorite ones! The struggle to survive. The jump scares. The near deaths!
Honestly, Scape and Run Parasites is genuinely the most terrifying mod (to me). Just the fact these highly infectious beings can spawn everywhere, hunt everything, and can quickly snowball into world domination if left unmanaged just strikes fear into my very soul.
It's one of my personal most favorite mods, maybe right behind Pam's HarvestCraft, but either way I'm loving the attention this mod is getting recently!
Idk why you guys say: if left unmanaged, its not like you can do anything about it since it can developp outside of your fov which is gonna guarantee at least one beacon to reach max level
Fun Fact: Scape and Run Parasites were based on the Flood from Halo
@@summonersriftgarbage4426 It makes a ringing sound when a beacon spawns. It also can't spawn too far away from where you are so you know when one is spawned.

And even if some might seem a bit out of place I see them more on the side of worldbuilding, perhaps the lands always had a parasite issue, and different nations with different advancements tried to conquer the lands but would always ultimately fail. I think Sean's videos about these mods are so good because of his level of competence in Minecraft. He knows what he’s doing enough that it doesn’t hurt to watch but he makes it more realistic by panicking and doing the wrong thing sometimes. If you were really thrust into this parasitic apocalypse, you wouldn't know how they worked or what to do, but you would learn how to defeat them over time. It wouldn't be the same if a veteran played this, knew exactly how to beat them, and was never scared of dying. Never change, Sean.
couldn't have put it better myself.
Yeah although the one thing about the parasites is you never really can control them. For the most part yeah but with how extensive their growth is if you miss even one thing, all the sudden it's phase 5 and your struggling to survive in your nuclear bunker
What happened at the end there is that a Disruptor spawned near Sean's base, they're like a different type of beacon, they spawn those tentacle things and can use an underground web of tentacles to teleport parasites, which is why Sean's final method of defense was getting invaded so quickly.

1:37:23 just in case you don’t know you are able to crouch on a ladder to sit still which might make it easier to hit enemy’s in that situation rather than just going up and down again and again
Wait, you know people who didn’t know that?
@@ImCrowned76 even im surprised, i thought everyone knew that
I didn't know that
I used that in bedwars
About your farming troubles, plants break if they're in the dark, you can just place torches and you shouldn't have any other issues
While watching these videos I am so sure that Sean is his own worst enemy lol
Just watched the original parasite 100 days, then my man posts 3 hour new one. What a good start to a weekend.
Good for you man
27:22 you can tell how serious he was by staying silent, because he needed absolute concentration and screaming would throw him off. This is the man who has survived more days in minecraft, than he has survived in real life
i have been having a really rough week and your videos have been helping me get through each day and fall asleep every night, i just had one the worst panic attacks of my life and just your voice soothed all worry from my brain. thank you for all the work you put into these videos, and thank you for continuing to make content.
This has been one of your best videos.
The editing, music and everything that happened. Thanks for entertaining me so well.
2:35:31 The dead silence and the slow turn around of the parasite killed me lol.
God these videos are seriously highlighting your improvement as a creator over not even years, months. You getting in front of the camera more, the structure, the longer form, you really commiting to the hardcore, all of these things made jt so hard to draw my eyes away wether I was immersed, anxious or just genuinely entertained.
One of your best videos if not the best.
I know right. This video really highlighted Sean's improvement as he creates content.

1:18:26 I love how forge just chucks the grenade first like "oh hell no fuck that shit" before actually pausing to ask what that shit is
I like to think that the parasite that was protecting the door on day 71 is the old Forge Labs from the previous 100 day parasite
I love the way Sean can become off topic so quickly and how he never follows the script making jokes like the new Taco Bell septic tank and the good old river monsters joke
Quick tip: if you have issues keeping track of various recipes in jei, just press A while hovering your mouse over the item you need or want to craft. This way you can bookmark them and keep better track of items.
Hey, nice little tip for ladder combat, holding shift while on a ladder stops you from going down.
its the way his ego goes so high when he has the flamethrower, then he ends up running back inside because of the big parasites he saw
2:42:01
The idea of that being a monsterous looming shadow of a parasite behind him was a cinematic masterpiece
IKR Just imagine if that was an actual parasite just coming up over the shadow as big as the wither storm or something lol
@@Just_a_Piano_ I mean, we have the Dreadnaut. It's one of the bosses.
I love how Sean randomly goes off script to tell his stories, they are my favorite parts, it always makes me laugh, and somehow its kinda interesting, "Shawn's" A good commentator that's for sure.😂
Its sean not shaoeuawn
u edited it but theres still a SHAUOUAWN
@@chickenzaredabest7933 it’s a running joke “Sean” is the hi res mic and “Shawn” is the shitty mic (in game audio)
Man I remember doing something like this with some friends. Most quit but me and another stuck in until we got as strong as we could. But those dam ender men were so much worse in prior updates. They didn't stop teleporting things to you till everything in the area was at your doorstep. They did this in seconds too. By far the most terrifying of the infested creatures as we had to live in a secluded cave under the ocean since we could even touch mainland.
I love the constant running themes of NONONO I FORGOT TONIGHT WAS THE HORDE and HORSE!!! 😂😂😂
Despite the fact that I don’t really play Minecraft, I was fully invested in this video. Amazing job!!
That and Taco Bell septic tanks
Tip for the parasite mod: parasite nests have eggs in them that drop organic samples. These can be processed in a sample refinery to make parasite bits. The sample refinery can be made with other blocks from the nest. Hope this helps.
And what we can do with the parasite bits?
@@ashokkumar-zw8vi The bits are used for lures, armor, and weapons.
@@danieltoomer5679 oh okay. Thank you for the info
I love how he doesnt cut the parts where he choked on the script and just keep it in,it really adds to the atmosphere of 100 days Minecraft challenges
It would be really cool if my mans merged several of these types of mods together to see what would happen, especially if the factions were against each other and grew stronger. Undead vs Parasites while my mans just tries to live a normal life in a village, for example.
The aggressiveness of your seemingly canadian accent brought me much joy
29:40 "Greasy gargantuan monstrosities were slithering out"
- The Forge Labs dude
His name is Sean btw
I just love how confused and mad Sean gets over his script. It's hilarious to hear him get mad over him writing the same joke over and over. I love this.

11:35 Holy shit, one of the best songs from Warlords of Draenor in the background there. Great taste
Love how when sean makes the fuel for the flame thrower he goes through the effort to make stained glass pains when it literally says any glass pane
I honestly can't tell you how satisfying it is to see him finally get some good luck and Power in his hands, it felt like a freaking miracle in a movie when that creeper farm showed up on my screen. I am honestly loving this series.
Yeah this is fire fr
This is a whole damn movie. I will never get over this man’s enthusiasm just to record much more than what was put on screen. Best Minecrafter yet
I love that Scriptwriter Sean and Voiceover Sean are two completely different people and they don't seem to like each other. Or at least, Voiceover Sean does not like Scriptwriter Sean.
