I am a graphics designer and always wanted to customize my helmet I think this is the way to go. I think this can be done with painters tape too. Looks amazing!
I customise helmets with vinyl but never considered this method. Getting the curvature is always an issue, so this solves that. Thanks for excellent video
Awesome video! Incredibly informative. This is exactly how we create templates at ZLT. One other additional thing that I do is put a small ruler on top of the templates before scanning or taking a photo of it (using the scan documents option in the notes app of an iPhone helps to prevent warping in the photo). This helps speed up the measuring process as you can just create a 1"x1" square in Illustrator and match it to the ruler. Love chatting with you and love watching your videos!
