I'm happy to find out the Black Jack fig seems to be prolific. I have one planted on the ground along with a bunch of others that all I do is to try to keep them alive with the high temperatures we are having here in San Antonio. I think Alma and Florea are prolific and grow at a moderate pace, unlike Improved Celeste which I will get rid of. It's becoming a monster, something I dislike about a fig tree. Between, the heat, drought, squirrels and other pests I'm fighting an uphill battle, and it happens that mother nature always wins. 😢
