For those of you who are wondering, the first song is Helter Skelter from the White Album.
Fascinating, who would’ve thought Paul McCartney was such a fan of Cannibal Corpse
Let’s not forget that Paul wrote what many consider to be the first heavy-metal song with Helter skelter
Those people would be stupid. There were multiple bands at the time, like Cream and The Who, who already put out stuff that was heavier than "Helter Skelter." I wouldn't even consider those to be Heavy Metal.
@@brandonmurphy8047 I’m being objective with this statement, you obviously are schooled in music so you know it is a commonly held opinion by many people….that’s just a fact, do the research
Just bc the lyrical subject matter is dark doesn't remotely make it a 'metal' song. That honor belongs to Black Sabbath.
@@demigod1013 I didn’t say this was my opinion, and it goes beyond the lyrical content listen to the guitar and bass lines it’s almost like a Rage baseline…. i’m saying if you study music history there are musical historians that place this as the first one that’s all I’m saying…. that’s not a lie, If you know anything about it you know for a fact that some people have that opinion…. Helter skelter was heavy for white album era…..
