  • In this video I talk a little bit about the change of mindset that helped me overcome the fear of failure and criticism.

One piece of advice that I try not to forget: "failure is not a destination"

🥹💙Thank you! Altho everyone around me is saying “ F your passion “ or “ passion dont bring in money”, and nights spent crying before bed, i still will not give up on my dreams. Because i once did and all i felt was misery, so neverrr againnnn

Critique is such an influence for reaction. Rarely easy to receive a critique. I thank ya much for sharing the workflow encouragement.

Absolutely! Critique is really important but totally understand how nerve wracking it can be 🫣

I have chronic anxiety and depression, so for me it's very hard to do something without carion about what others may think, specially when my own head tells me horrible critiques constantly. I try my best toignore them, but they get too strong sometimes. I wish there was a way to have te view you present, because I would take it over my day to day in every situation.
Thank you, for making me think theres a way to feel better out there, even if I can't find it right now

Thank you so much for that insight! Absolutely, I understand how hard it is to get out of that headspace when you're in it. It isn't so easy to just tell yourself not to care. All I can hope for you is no matter how intense things seem in the moment, that moments of passion and courage will follow, even if only briefly. Take any and all good vibes that come your way and get as far as you can 💙 I'm rooting for you!

I grew up among professional musicians where critique of one's performance was a normal and expected part of your everyday life and none of us would take it personally. The whole idea of having to ask for critique is weird to me because I expect to receive if people care about me and want me to do better. But I guess it's a vastly opposite perspective from that of most people online. When I finally got internet and started interacting with people in Western countries, I had to learn that they take everything personally and it was very strange to get used to since to me detailed critique is a sign of caring.
