Hello hello hello! What do you guys think of the vlog clips at the end? I miss vlogging so filmed some additional stuff at the end of the video. Let me know if you want to see more of this!
Hi Janice, thanks for showing my basic Aussie butt where to get yummy food. Were the noodles in your last dish the "thickest" noodles? Or is there another name for them, like "flat" noodles?
@@JaniceFung hey janice, i remember you doing a vlog in a parra cafe. I am today in a japanese restaurant in parra tucked away in a laneway but views of parra river. Awesome service and food run by a small japanese family with cooking from the heart. Its called "tokyo japanese restaurant off philllip street.
it is so strange (but wonderful) to see people out in public without masks! YES PLEASE JANICE, your vlogs feel more real and exudes more of your personality! love 'em
Lanzhou beef noodle is one of my favorite noddles in cold winter weather with chilli hot oils, pig ears goes good with Tsingtao beers (Yummy), thank you for the video now im hungry i will go out and order Lanzhou beef noodle 谢谢你
beef noodle soup yummmmy makes me craving now hahaha so familiar with pulling the noodles up and then falling down and splashing soup eveyrwhere...haha..happens once too much pig ear is the best! always add it to my beef noodle soup!
Nice outfit! The second beef noodle soup is also my favorite. I ate my first one ever in Taiwan a few years ago and since then, whenever I have a chance, that's what I order. Very curious about the large noodles though. I also tried the pigs ears before and I liked the taste and the spiciness but it took me some time to get use to the texture.
Looks so good, there isn’t many good Lanzhou Mian places in HK, seems like Sydney has better Chinese food then here these days. Did they have the marinated pork intestine as well?
I love these noodles. I've been to the 1919 at Westfield in Hurstville (and also the 1915 in Burwood). My personal favourite is the braised beef noodles, then the regular sliced beef noodles. I've been having the thin noodles, maybe I'll have to try the thicker ones next time. I've not tried the "dry" noodles though.
I’m an Aussie currently living in Canada. Can’t wait to come home to Sydney and visit your recommendations! Literally drooling, those noodles look so damn good!! 😝
I tried their store in burwood too.. I tried both the braised beef and Pickled beef soup on separate occasions .. The Pickled Beef soup I liked better for its flavour and alot of meat😋
I love this place. Braised beef and the classic lanzhou are my favourite. The only thing I wish they would change is if they would give you proper soup spoons instead of tiny flimsy disposal plastic ones! XD
be it wet or dry, we asian have our own pasta too 😬😬😬 i think that awesome kid who appears on the first few minutes of this vlog is telling you to add more chilli oil 🤣🤣🤣
Hi Janice, if you are interested I’d love to take you around Thainatown in near central in Sydney. There are so many fantastic restaurants and shops where you can get Thai indregients and and takeout stuff. Michael

@@JaniceFung sadly just some instant cup noddles, didn't quite cut it... Travel can't to be far off, my stomach will have to wait 🤣
Hi Janice, any ideas on where to find a good Vietnamese banh canh cua (crab noodle soup) in Sydney?
Looks amazing 🤩
Awesome video Janice TFS
The noodle soups look delicious! It's quite a workout making all those noodles. 🙂
I know right! He made it a few more times just for the video too
Funky shirt Janice, I like it. Great video,1919 gets a 10 out of 10

Yeah it’s an interesting texture for sure. My raking of the noodles is probs the fry one, then the second and the first

give the dry noodle ago when you get a chance ! i was surprised because i didnt think i'd like it that much!
when i saw there was one in hurstville i am thinking i may have to stop by on tuesday.
I’m an Aussie currently living in Canada. Can’t wait to come home to Sydney and visit your recommendations! Literally drooling, those noodles look so damn good!! 😝
Ahh! What’s the food scene like in canada ??
It’s honestly quite similar to Sydney with plenty of multicultural options. Seafood here is definitely not as fresh as Australia though.
I tried their store in burwood too.. I tried both the braised beef and Pickled beef soup on separate occasions .. The Pickled Beef soup I liked better for its flavour and alot of meat😋
is inter-state travel prohibited in Australia? It would be lovely to see you having food in other cities like Melbourne or Brisbane
that's the plan very soon :)
I love this place. Braised beef and the classic lanzhou are my favourite. The only thing I wish they would change is if they would give you proper soup spoons instead of tiny flimsy disposal plastic ones! XD
The chips with the burger looked very good, were they nice :-)
haha it was okay, not the best burger i've ever had
@@JaniceFung looks like they are trying to make it too "fancy" which always just makes it worse.
be it wet or dry, we asian have our own pasta too 😬😬😬

Hahaha he was so curious
Great vid. I wish I had known about that place when I was in Chatswood
You know for next time :)
Nice really good to see u eating 😋
haha thanks for watching!
I love to move back to Chatswoo....
You should try 1915 Lanzhou beef noodles in Burwood! They're really good as well and you can decide which one is better 😉
I will do ☺️ have you been to both? Which one do you like better
@@JaniceFung I have been to both and they're both very good. It's hard to decide which is better but I believe 1915 has stronger flavours in the broth
Nice noodle made me hungry hahaha I Food Leveling
