I think you made just the right move to sell the Willard and SPB147. Take your breather, wait six months, then sell your SPB143 and buy an SLA 62MAS, such as the SLA043.
I personally have 6 watches which have been keepers for years. Those are the ones that fulfill me the most and I told myself to not buy another watch unless it checks all the boxes. I am picky so that has been working out for me.
The moment I noticed your Seiko was on the bracelet I was like what happened McMahon!
It took me time, but now I have an appreciation for this channel. Don’t change IMO. Just keep in mind that the performative misery is part of the fun. We enjoy the mental stresses as that is part of the hobby…otherwise we are just consumers rather than enthusiasts. Also, keep showing us your 5 watches as your wearing your collection and talking about it drives home the point that we should enjoy what we own and use it. By the by, the Mad Watch Collector is an abosolute numpty; what you offer is many times more valuable than his garbage.
He makes me laugh and is informed so I like him.
I'm down to six, but two of them are quartz. I plan to keep my Citizen Eco-Drive Radio. The other quartz is probably going to find it's way to eBay as well. I've sold a number of things on eBay over the years, but I think the combination of lower 1099K reporting requirements and the higher selling fees will put a stop to my flipping soon. One day I would like to get down to two mechanical and one quartz.
I truly enjoy your content. Said that, I secretly wish you fill those two slots, or at least miss those two you sold, or else my misery will remain unconsoled by very much needed company

I think you should sell the SPB143 too, then get a SLA017 or SLA043 with the funds available from the watch sale + some of your own .
Fortunately the community has decided that G-Shocks don’t count in a watch collection, so you are free to purchase your Frogman without fear of “kryptonite” 😂
