IMO. To give the best possible experience to Rivian owners, Rivian needs to give the infotainment the ability to send and receive text messages, add entertainment apps (netflix, youtube, etc..), Zoom app, and the ability to control (choose color) the interior RGB accent interior lighting. All of these are very useful for the adventurous and working Rivian owners. Also, please update the Sport mode and give the options to select FWD, AWD, and RWD. I'm not asking much, lol. This would make the Rivian the ultimate vehicle, in my humble opinion.
The new update looks great. Looking forward to implementing it & checking it out towing. Keep growing!

This update deployed to my truck while I was in the middle of a 4000 mile towing road trip. It was a very welcome addition! Have my three trailers added now. ("Pato", our teardrop travel tariler; "Mossy Int'l", a cargo trailer made from the bed of an old International Harvester pickup (that is held together by the moss growing on it;) and "touchthebutt" our boat trailer, named for a certain scene in Finding Nemo.)
The efficiency/range calculations were wildly inaccurate for the first few days, but calmed down after that. Navigation tried multiple times to go much further between charges than was possible, even knowing the trailer's efficiency correctly. And a mismatch between navigation expected range and vehicle expected range. One example was a stretch where it wanted me to go 160 miles between charge stops. At the beginning, the instrument cluster "guess-o-meter" said I had 170 miles of range; navigation said it was 160 miles to my next charger, but that I would arrive with 40 miles of range remaining. And the trailer screen showed "range at 100%" with my trailer of 200 miles. Doing the math based on the efficiency it knew my trailer gets by the range it thinks it could get would have resulted in a battery capacity well in excess of even the Max pack's capacity. (And I don't have a max pack.) I stopped at a charger at about the 100 mile mark, and had only 40 miles of range remaining, well under *ANY* of those estimates.
But, again, it got better after a couple days/thousand miles. By the last day of my trip, it was spot on.
Now I just want to be able to plan trips ahead of time in the app (or even on the nav screen) specifying a specific trailer. And better integration with the now-Rivian-owned A Better Route Planner. ABRP plans my charge stops while towing really well. The Rivian app don't let me pick "towing mode" to plan for, so that makes trying to pre-plan a towing trip using Rivian-branded tools useless.
One highlight of my trip - using 15 different Rivian Adventure Network stations. All were flawless and fast. Unlike multiple major hiccups with EA.

Love my R1S and I’m grateful for the updates. Rivian mentions they are listening to their customers.. and I’m sorry to be negative, but there are so many things that are small and simple and used on a daily basis but a much larger audience that need to be improved or made right, rather than this. I get it, it’s an adventure vehicle. But I doubt realistically there is a huge % of R1 owners that use things like this more than the simple things, like being able to select a song when connected to Bluetooth, or or music streaming services, or simply letting me plug my phone in and play music that way etc.. plus many more. Thank you Rivian for being awesome, we love our R1S, let’s continue to make it better!

Nice update! Since trailer weight is calculated by the vehicle, hence only an estimate, hopefully future software changes will allow driver to manually input / override this weight with a more accurate value if the estimate is too far off.
MORE IMPORTANTLY - please make it more of a priority and focus on providing in each software update significantly reducing the ridiculous high vampire drain!!
My vampire drain is pretty good actually, better than my Model 3. There seems to be a wide variation on people's experiences.

Would be nice receive a video on the whole service centre construction situation across Canada. I've been on the waiting list for an R1S for over 3 years now and it would be helpful to receive some news on how and when these service centres will appear ( in my case Manitoba ) so we can get some renewed hope on delivery
I’d like to be able to have bed view when hauling as well as towing. Also, app access to the cameras and playback of recordings would be awesome.

Regarding 2023.38, the Base Dual Motor needs gauges too. It was advertised as a feature for all models; it's on your Stories site, says it's for everyone! RJ said at the Code conference that features would not be omitted if the hardware can support it. I bought an Adventure vehicle and am missing part of this adventure...

None of the rivians qualify for rebate, rivian did a bait and switch for Reservation holders. U pay the price of when you get the invite not of the reservation. RJ scamminger

As a shareholder, thanks for promoting Rivian and trying to put Rivian's issues in a positive light. Rivian's vehicles may be overpriced, lack basic features and have many more flaws than others, but it's still early. If we don't get investors and buyers to stay motivated and buy more shares and more Rivian vehicles, then Rivian will never get the traction needed to become a mass production BEV seller. And Rivian will soon go bankrupt as the CEO has stated Rivian will run out of cash in about 18 months
