So, i watched the whole clip with anxious big eyes to find out where two of the guys pushed some 'mongoloid person', after reading the comments below. Since i work with these wonderful people, i got very angry reading it. 'Oh nooo, how can some nice looking guys like these do such a horrorful thing??' As you can see, i'm pretty new to the whole boarding thing. Hahaha.
@@HerbNanny not necessarily, when you don't have your feet sideways you can switch between stepping and steering very easily. While still keeping yourself stable. hell you can even step and steer at the same time when your front foot isn't sideways.
CMNOO this is true and for how the terrain is (basically flat) it works well but for me anytime I ride I find it easier and more natural to ride with my feet sideways especially if going downhill. So I suppose it is more personal preference
Don't worry about it! I started skateboarding alone and at first it was a bit awkward since I didn't had much skill and people kept staring at me but eventually I ended up not caring that much (I still do). I aim you to grab it and just go somewhere or search for lonely roads where you can start practicing!
Why does it matter if their pushing mongo, their riding a longboard it really doesn’t matter. I can understand if it’s on a normal skateboard and their doing tricks, but their on longboards.
Longboarding golden rule is to put your weight in the front for stability and control. Pushing mongo puts weight in the back and causes rear wheel steering, which is why it’s considered bad for longboarding. That being said, being able to push mongo can be useful in certain disciplines, eg LDP, dance, freestyle If anything, I’m not entirely convinced that it’s any more important for “normal skateboarding” than longboarding. It seems to me like the reason for it being bad in “normal skateboarding” is purely social, while in longboarding it’s functional, but lmk if I’m missing something
Ive seen people do downhill on pintails, and as soon as they reach a moderate speed, speed wobbles, crash. People don't do their research. Drop down decks are best for downhill longboarding. Trust me.
For the love of God! I know they are cruising. I'm just saying that, pintails are not good for downhill. I have SEEN people do downhill longboarding on pintails. I AM NOT REFERRING TO THIS VIDEO! Just because I talk about something, doesn't necessarily mean that I am referring to the video on which I am commenting on.
Everytime I watch this video it gets me excited about summer time and hopping on my Longboard and cruising

I want a longboard SO bad!!!
Why do they not turn their feet sideways on the boards?
Mikella Murphy having your feet sideways is more stable and it is easier to turn or maneuver

You put your weight in the back when you push mongo and when you have too much weight in the back of a longboard you fall
Nice but the two others pushing mongo just bothers me to much
75X75cm exactly what I was thinking
Whats mango?
Totoro Moon mOngo is a way to push on your board, where you use your front foot to push, instead of back foot.
Just mind your business

What type of longboard is good for dancing? I’m wondering
They all are mongo Mangos! THE FRONT FOOT IS ALWAYS ON THE BOARD AND THE REAR ONE IS FOR PUSHING NOOBS
good video but the mongo pushing irritates me
