@@stefanfreestylez Even then, a luxury watch like a Rolex (or other luxury watch brands like Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin, Omega, even Tudor, which was _created_ as a "budget Rolex"), while still being of astounding quality, isn't something you buy for its value for money: you buy it as a status symbol or as a gift to yourself (or someone else) for something important and therefore will only be used for special occasions. A Casio (especially a G-shock) is something that's _made_ to be used and abused in the wildest environments until it breaks (except it can't be broken). I have both a Tissot PR100 (not really luxury but definitely a watch on the more expensive side of things) and a Casio G-shock DW5600E. Both watches are great at what they're supposed to do and bad at what they aren't supposed to do: a DW5600E will never work in a formal setting like a PR100 will never work for more than 10 seconds in salty waters (or in any waters for that matter). In the same way, luxury watches aren't really comparable to G-shocks for two main reasons: 1- The enormous difference in price (with even the most expensive G-shocks clocking in at "just" around the thousand); 2- The different use, because, no matter the model, no one with a dailiy salary of less than 1.000.000,00$ will ever use a luxury watch while going camping in the wild.
