Idk if it's petty to beat the executives after firing a bunch of people for their own financial incompetence. It'd at least be embarrassing for them

This line from Dwight in the cold open is one of my all time favorites:
Normally, I don't condone leaving early, but I have an appointment with the horse doctor. How that horse became a doctor, I don't know. No, I'm kidding. He's just a regular doctor who shoots your horse in the head when its leg is broken.
Rainn's delivery is impeccable.
Actually one of my biggest issues with this line is that we later see him shoot the casket and other implications that Dwight is perfectly willing to do what a farmer does (sprinkles). Why does he need someone else to put his horse down?
Damn a 100 episodes? Man that means you’ve written/recorded about 100 times. Man this is some hard commitment that is very hard to find in UA-cam. Here’s to 4 more seasons, Chris!!🎉🎉
P.S. I love that last line Michael delivers, it’s a very emotional line and it hits me so hard

The montages are my favorite part of the video. I do think, though, that the Pam's progress one should've included her hot coals walk and at least some of her speech afterwards.
I debated actually about it. I felt that moment had more to do with her and Jim than her career, but it’s a fair point.
@@Mulverine For sure it had to do with her and Jim, but between the coal walk and speech, and Gil's comments at the art show, it was definitely a turning point for Pam, of her becoming more mature and assertive.

You almost ruined the most profitable branch in the company by questioning Michael leadership forcing him to quit making his own paper company and almost resulting being a laughing stock in the next upcoming Shareholder Meeting.

I’d love to see you do a series on main characters growth. An episode per character, not a request just a suggestion I think it would give an awesome new perspective on them as individual characters rather than the show as a whole. Eg. Dwight starts out as a cautious non-trusting person with very few emotional relationships yet at the closing of the series there is an obvious emotional Connection with some of the other characters.
Edit: you do an outstanding job on the episode guides and supreme job on the strangler series.keep up the good work and thank you.
I like how they made Dwight a lonely beet farmer in the middle of nowhere fits his character perfectly I mean beets are good for you but often shunned or considered tasteless and almost utilitarian
A while back when they put the show onto Peacock, they had put up a sign here in Buffalo that said "Future site of Dunder Mifflin Buffalo" !

Why did that Michael Scott montage make me cry
Because he's you. And me. And pretty much everyone else. We're all fish out of water; idealists, hopeful; throwing it all out there hoping to make a difference in other peoples' lives; desperate for validation, companionship, and understanding. Michael Scott is all of us. He's our weaknesses, our fears and our vulnerabilities, and all of our optimism, hope, and unabashed honesty. We're all sorta screwed up in one way or another. Michael Scott represents the struggle we all face being abnormal people in a supposedly normal world.

I do like the episode. Personally I'm kind of "meh" on Michael/Holly because I don't really like either character. I share Erin's view of Holly and I've known too many Michaels in real life to think he's a harmless funny character. But it was a real dick move by DM to be ok with Holly dating a coworker in Nashua but not in Scranton. That is one of maybe three times in the whole series I feel for Michael Scott.

One of the things that I've wondered about from this episode is why they closed the Buffalo branch if it was apparently the "most successful" branch?
I always figured that was just commentary on everyone arguing that they're indispensable rather than reality. OR, maybe corporate tells everyone they have the best numbers....🤔
@@Mulverine That's a good point. Dunder Mifflin was struggling financially from the very first episode. Seems like corporate was never honest with anyone (Michael Scott included) until it was too late

Late to the party but Buffalo branch is closing (you kinda gave it away in the beginning but I alr knew I swear)
That sketch in my opinion was way, way cringier than Scotts Totts. I struggle to get through a lot of this episode due to the cringe, to be honest. I hate the way Pam does the whole volleyball bit (volleyball camp most summa's... Ugh).
It is pretty 'basic' lol! I love the cringe for what it's worth. I can't wait to get to Scotts Totts!
Scott's Totts is still my least favorite episode. The sketch was very cringy indeed, but I found it interesting to see Holly, Michael's female doppelganger-but-more-responsible, screw up tight along with him. I like that her more sensible side has its limits, but does still exist. It's Charles that is too cringy and hateful to take here, though not for too much time in this one. And Pam on volleyball I find more adorkable than obnoxious.
I totally agree about Pam. Something about her voice, or the inflection in it, during that line just plucks a nerve with me.

The entire sequence with the characters and their growth was beautiful, even Dwight and Angela's had me tearing up a bit

I always loved how realistic it is about the Volleyball game. Another show would have Charles get his comeuppance by losing the game or getting hit himself by the volleyball. But that is not what we get. Because real life is like that. But what we get with Jim and Pam's next is more important and rewarding
Nah, Company outings/field days etc are (your) chance to get “even” w/ corporate or work rivalries thru sport. As old as Gladiator Olympics.

i love all the montages! the michael and pam ones felt emotional. michael didn't receive the love as he deserved as a child from his family, divorced parents, jeff, and an estranged sister who would only talk to him if he hired her son. when he doesn't try too hard, people actually love and enjoy the real Michael as he is. There is a deleted scene of taking your daughter to work day (the one that he was on a kid's show), Michael watches and weeps at the moment where all the other kids loved playing with him and all genuinely happy. another little girl whispered something to young Michael and made him blush.
