The part where Jim closes his eyes when Pam is sleeping on his shoulder is one of my favorite moments between them. You can feel his longing. They're both great actors.

the scene on the boat might just be my all-time favorite acted scene in a tv show. you can just see every single thought both of them have play out on their faces without them having to say a word. and every time i watch it im able to feel that awkward tension like im right there with them

one thing I would’ve wanted to see and that they never showed was the beginning of the relationship. They jumped from being asked out on a date to already in a relationship. I wished they had showed the in between stuff
When Pam threatened Jim in the surplus episode, it sent shivers down my spine. Given the title that should easily have been the final clip of this compilation, for it to not even be included is borderline unforgivable.

One of the things I wasn't a big fan of is how they didn't show them FINALLY getting together properly, it was all off screen. I always found that unsatisfying because they did such a good job with this relationship beforehand, where you were frustrated enough to want them to get together but the dynamic was so well written that it flowed naturally and stayed interesting. Once they were finally together I found myself missing the tense crush/best friend phase between them.
It’s the same in the show superstore incase you’ve watched that. I guess it’s because the writers think including that would make it more of a dramatic/romantic sitcom instead of a documentary style comedy series. But I totally agree

frrr, they have really good moments, but they become few and far between, as opposed to early on, where their romance was like a primary focus of the show

The story of Jim and Pam was the heartbeat of the entire series. They are both great actors.
I can only imagine the comfort and safety she felt leaning to sleep on Jim's shoulder. Sometimes smaller women like taller men because they feel like a pillar of safety to them. That was so cute. Their chemistry was so electric on screen. That's wonderful

It's an incredible show. The first season is good, (and only 6 episodes) but it gets even better in the second season, going forward. Enjoy! 😊😊
I have seen and love The Office, however this happened to me yesterday with Friends. I’ve never seen the show, but there was a recommended video somehow thanks to the UA-cam algorithm about two characters named Rachel and Ross. And now, I just might have to watch Friends. Still deciding. 😅
Please watch both shows!! They are both absolutely outstanding!! The first couple of The Office are a little hard to watch because Michael makes you cringe but hang in there! You won’t be sorry.

I think we can all agree that Jim and Pam are one of the greatest couples to ever grace the screens of our televisions... however, do not let that stop you from remembering that their relationship started with cheating!! You can take that one of two ways - either don't let your fiance/spouse/partner stand in the way of you finding true love (terrible and horrible and disgusting mindset), or the best relationships always start by looking for a partner who is already in a relationship (terrible and horrible and disgusting mindset)
@Notmyname979 yea, it's never intentional is it... it's never the cheaters fault. This entire tirade is just a fun way of saying that you shouldn't let your commitments stand in the way of true love. Just leave. It's painful, potentially devastating, but nothing will hurt more than being cheated on. Roy is not a good husband for Pam. She DID need to leave him. But disguising this story as one of true love is ultimately justifying the notion that it's okay to cheat as long as you really really think you like the other person more

@@J4sse Dwight very rarely gets the better of Jim though (outside of that one time that was more "assault" than "comeuppance"). "Comeuppance" also implies that Jim would deserve it and it's quite rarely the case (compared to guys like Dwight or Roy typically). Roy was a bad boyfriend, an even worse fiance, often violent and borderline abusive at times. Besides, Jim was entirely legitimate to flirt with Pam imo, "all is fair in love and war", if her relationship with Roy was solid she would have told him to back-off and he would have.
Why? Do you think Roy owns Pam? You think she has no say in how she lives her life or who she talks to? If Roy is upset about Pam and Jim he needs to talk with her and get it figured out because it would be obvious that they had a troubled relationship.

Her insistence on Roy made zero sense, she obviously had strong feelings for Jim and seemed pissed at Roy in every scene they shared. It was just weird how long it took her to leave him.
Yeahh, it was kind of annoying to watch but I'm sure that, after being with a man for several years and waiting for him to marry you, it becomes hard to imagine something else if you're devoted enough.. Also, she didn't want to ruin the friendship between her and Jim, which she mentions several times (like to her mom on the phone)

I'm not a big Pam fan for the first couple seasons. Like her but just don't love her like I do in the later ones
@@BrittanyBritt fair enough, I think majority of people liked the thrill of seeing the outcome of that relationship. Once they were together it got a bit boring for a lot of people.
