Why must I wake up?..
This song dates all the way back to the middle of the 20th Century…or at least the essence of it does.
It’s a mystery where inspiration comes from and why and when it chooses to arrive
I first sang this melody to my mum when I was about 5 years old and trying to get out of going to school:-

Why does she have to be so cru-uel?
With a little artistic license and application, and the addition of Andy’s magnificent arrangement…a song is born!
It’s been a long time coming…but sometimes mornings are like that.
