As a fat old man trying to get better I really appreciate yalls videos. I don't MX race but I have learned a lot from yalls videos that has helped me with my trail riding. Stay safe
We sure appreciate you watching. It’s feedback like this that keeps us motivated to keep making more videos to help people like you.
Same here man! Love your guys videos, picked up a few things that I didn’t really need just to support you guys
Same here fella's! I'm old and broke up too but I love watchin your stuff. Your teachin some good stuff thats good for all us
Add me to this group! I'm 73 and not racing anyone but you're helping me get through the day safe and sound!
@@michaelsupple6081 Man that is awesome. I ride with a few fellas that's in their 70s and they don't cut it no slack. Rex is 75 I think and has ridden with some legends and still do from time to time, but he will tell you riding keeps him young. Stay safe
I'm a beginner to dirt bikes, just got a KLX 230R for some trail riding. I know this is different from track riding but I really feel like the advice given here is going to help me have some more confidence. This guy seems to know what he's talking about. Thanks
I could not thank you enough, I wasn’t really sure if this was gonna work or be super effective just because I wasn’t sure how good I needed to be at cornering to begin with. But I did what you said and put my weight on the side. Sitting on the seam between the seat and the plastic, while putting a lot of weight into my foot peg, and I was hitting those corners great. Even though the bike was sliding, it wasn’t going down and I was railing into the straights. Thank you so much
An awesome rider that is an awesome instructor, and that's what makes the difference.
Thanks for this vid bro. I've been trying to get comfortable keeping speed in turns like these. I didn't know how to position my body differently. Makes a huge change. I'll add for me, I have to keep telling myself to look way up and out of the turn, it's much easier to hold the balance and not over correct mistakes.
Clear& easy to understand as standard in all you’re videos. I’ve improved 100% since subbing. Regards from Great Britain. Keep up the good work. 👍👍
Amazing, thanks so much for letting us know that. It makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside 🔥🔥🔥😎
Very helpful! I’m new to dirt biking and I find your videos entertaining and educational!
I like how your videos are concise, detailed, and interesting. This is something I'll use out on the trails. I already do this fairly well. I'd be interested in technique for traki.g a turn while standing. In Enduro, we don't necessary sit down for turns.
Good point, a standing turning tutorial would be helpful. Thanks for the feedback and for watching :)
i got my dirtbike for the very first time. i rode it so well idk how but i got it. i started riding it around in my yard and i took and turn and my back tire slid because i remembered what my stepdad told me he said “you have to lean the bike with you as you turn” and i slid. its scared me so im trying to get better at it thank you bro
Good video, something I've been trying to practice a lot recently
Thanks 🙏🏻 this is my weakness and now I’m getting better on a flat slippery turn. I used to be so scared on a flat slippery turn
You guys rock! Keep on going, looking all your videos few times each :D As I’m begginer,it’s very usefull ;) 👌
Another great vid from the best mx channel on youtube I will be practicing this technique on my 250 2 stroke on this slick georgia clay thanks again guys
Best mx channel on youtube? Sweet, we'll take that compliment any day of the week :) Thanks!
Un gran saludo desde colombia gracias por enseñas buenas tecnicas
The real pro is the camera man 💯👌
Thanks for this! I am planning on getting a dirtbike soon and in my area there is hard packed ground i trail ride mostly
Good break down, I need to watch my body position more.
I dont see why your channel is not more popular
You have the best d.b channel on UA-cam man, you could charge for these vids .99 cents a pop .
Another great video tutorial ! My big issue is with cornering, I don't have enough confident doing it fast - especially ruts and berms
Bro confidence is key man, on any motorised bike. Respect it but dont fear it.
Always helpful tips 🤘🏼. Got a corner just like this on my home track hopefully this can help me improve.
Hi, Thanks for the tips, Now its time to do it in track... tomorrow and day after tomorrow I have my race, I am riding Royal enfield 500 CC on dirt track... once again thanks fro the inputs.
Those Royal Enfields are such great bikes. Good luck at your race!
The Mx Factory hello buddy,
I have won the dirt race on 🥉position, and my bro win on 🥇position thanks for the tips it was really helpful for us..
Thanks a lot
Great job! Thanks for the update! Glad to hear the tips helped 👍🏼
That’s so awesome man!! I’m really glad we can help!
Love the videos! Keep them going!
This is very helpful. Thanks.
Love your sound effects bro
Yeah its hard to sit hear as a motorcycle racer and not go a little crazy but that's the way things are ,people get nervous and forget everything,so as multi type racer u doin a awsum job, those of us that had to learn the hard way are just jealous,so we can't say to beginners, what we wish hopefully u have piece of flat ground if your totally green it don't take long to get the basic riding controls figure out, the, u can start trying out the different kinds of dirt,as a beginner just stay out of deep ass sand till u get really good its more like skiing on a motorcycle than anything else, the bike kinda floats, have fun take ur time, and learn thanks that was no fun that turn was really slick....rose he put it in my pocket....jack in the box....
I always forget to like UA-cam videos and this time I liked because you made the importance of liking the video adamant ha
same lol im like oh yeah thats a thing i can do
There's a lot of details, but good video. You have to judge when to use gentle throttle (I said gentle) and when to let it breathe. The best advice would be to roll on the throttle and go a little faster each pass until you get to know the flat corner. I think you can be a great rider, but if you haven't taken the time to understand the terrain, you could find yourself washing out ... :D
you are a happy guy......i hope. enjoy your instruction.
You guys need to teach us how to do big rollers!!
Thanks so much it helped a lot
Your a good teacher with out you and and my dad I would be doomed with out you to
*two
Great Content❤
tank you for all your vids it helps alot
Good job thanks 👍
Your videos and riding are so on point I don’t even notice the man bun anymore... well mostly... You rocking this shiiite! And yea I liked it...
Great video.
Great video, thanks
Cornering in general, flat or bermed, how do you know how many gears to drop on your way in? And how do you prevent locking up the rear wheel without using the clutch?
Great video!
nice. It's time to practice
Thank u for great tips and riding techniques, I have question.. What about the inner leg.? Didn't see u throw it to front wheel..! Or on flat ground should be neutral position?
Keeping the inside front leg slightly bent and about 6-12 inches off the ground is a good rule of thumb.
I paused.. exit full screen, liked video.. then continued watching...
Same
u could just scroll down
but ok
this video is awesome
Tyler, great video again man a lot of useful info. I have a question though, when you’re going around this type of corner you’re trailing your leg as apposed to having it up high and straight out tight against the shroud like when cornering a rut. Is there any specific reason for this.
yep running in yard and playing on the trails here Arizona and making my turns hit hard pack front end slide out and down i went and head hit the ground not hard wasnt going that fast yet. so my question is on the road u crash you get a new helmet cause its been impacted i noticed that when someone crashes on the dirt bike they dont go out and biy a new helmet like you would for a road bike ?
Oh shoot you all are in Austin, I’m in Houston. I’ll make sure to swing out there!!!!
Hey, any chance of a turn down tutorial? Also do you guys do training? Mx holiday on the cards ✊🏻
Yes we do training! That’s what we do best 👌🏼 Email mxfactory254@gmail.com for any training inquiries. And we haven’t filmed it yet, but a turn down is literally the next video on our list 👍🏼
What year was that race where RC jumped ET3 in the corner for the pass in the clip you included with the awesome video.
How do you feel about leaves and mud together
Not sure if you have a video for this but Im a beginner lol and I need help getting down rocky hills... any tips or maybe a video 😩
We'll see what we can do. For now, look ahead and make sure to keep your knees squeezed tight to the bike. That's solid advice for that situation :)
Hey love watching your videos even though I dont ride MX stuff. But I was wondering if this technique still works/applies on larger ADV bikes?
I don't always get advice from a guy wearing goggles with a man bun but when I do...it's excellent advice! This video also helps to disprove the ol "a two stroke doesn't need to run good at 1/8 throttle, it's either closed or pinned."
mestandard those are sunnies bro
@@caza00caza lmao
Are you ever coming out to Cali I would love to ride with you
Great breakdown! I give it way too much gas in the corners.
It would be cool to go out there and learn some stuff at yalls track
We're always open for business! Email mxfactory254@gmail.com for more info about our upcoming schools. We LOVE having our subscribers come out to train with us.
Hey could you guys please do a tutorial on whoops
Cameraman was sketchy!!!!!! Hope you paid him well. I saw him in the shadows.
Seriously appreciate the videos. Light and humorous but very informative. Thank you sir.
Hi i have fall down all the time when i do right turn but on left side is ok how to fix this problem (how to practice)
yay my suggestion
is there a suspension setting that would help me get bit more comfortable on practicing flat slick corners?
Could adjust the sag and see if it's more comfortable.
Bro where can I get apparel bro ur dirt bike gear is tuff where can I order
Thanks, That is just what I asked for. Just would be great to incluse the slippery sand berms with the power sliding in them.
Tnx✌️
And not to forget about counter steering
We slick turned it I hope you guys learned it
Estou gostando de ver
You’re awesome
Austin Texas?
You guys should make a video on how to shift in mid air
We have one! Check out the bonus tip on our How to Properly Shift video 👍🏼
It’s called a whip
Great video Tyler do y’all have a water truck up in goin?
TripleXpert Why do You need a video on that? It is exactly the same shifting, even a bit easier to implement because You are in neutral position with the bike and usually in that case You don't have any forces to interrupt You. Just need to train a coordination of your foot/ If You need to slow down after the jump shift down, if You want to accelerate shift up
Andrey D yeah true I guess
Great video, though as a physicist, I have to cherry pick a bit. You don't have that body position to change the force of the tire into the ground. That force is the same no matter how you sit on your bike, you can't put more force downward to create more traction. You position your body like that, so that you can move the center of gravity more easily. And so that you can counter the bike moving around, if you'd ride the corner as you would on a road bike, you couldnt react to the bike's movement end wind up crashing.
I didn’t know Peter Griffin was a physicist 👨🔬
@@TheMxFactory Don't you remember that time Peter went to university?... (...Flashback begins)
2 stroke
That’s what I’m looking for
Noticed Tyler's leg wasn't extended completely or tucked tight to the shroud, on purpose or just the way he took the turn?
Just do the Gary Semics circle drill.
I have issues on my turns ,I dont go down but loose speed , I cant pinpoint the exact mistake I'm doing 🤣🤣🤣
I'll get it together soon
Same problem dude 😅
Can you turn on a dirt bike like this on roads?
Sand tips pls
Just out of curiosity if someone was to do a extremely tight flat turn around let's say. A barrel would you need the same technic or does it require an entire new process
Yes, same technique. But you may want to move your head forward more over the bars to bring weight forward on your bike, thus making it easier to swing your rear end of the bike around.
The Mx Factory thank you
This vid is better for those learning the difference between a 2 stroke and a 4 stroke. Its obvious by the bike selections for the segments of right from wrong...c'mon guys...were not stupid. BUt everything is correct withe the lack of explanation that your riding 2 different bikes.
You have really purdy hair....LOL, JK great vid and good tips.
Is it worth to buy a honda cr 125? It would be my first bike :)
Yes! Make sure to watch our Top 5 Tips on Buying a Used Bike. Any bike that moves and is in decent condition is a great first bike. You can learn the skills we teach on ANY bike.
@@TheMxFactory Yeah, i have already checked it and many other videos :) Thanks for all the help!
@@TheMxFactory Even a 1980 KE175?
first 5 sec. tell everything :)))))
I like to power slide through flat corners
I love you
Love you too 👍🏼👊🏼
You shoupd make a video on what dirtbike is better , I bet kawasaki will win
You are soooo funny
hahahah
Are those Pit Vipers?
They are 100% sunglasses
🏁👍
What Goggles are those ? the ones you are wearing
100% brand
I noticed your not really turning that front wheel and kind of keeping it straight and leaning the bike to avoid washing out that front tire, like drifting. I still need practice... Great skillz & video... Fellow Texan here as well..
If you’re ever in Austin let us know, you can come check out the facility! Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Eddie Kelley he's also counter steering when the back wants to come around.
What I leaned is that you don’t put your leg out. And the rest is what I learned
Wow I am 30 mins away from yall
First
How would you do slick turns? as a person that lives in Washington State.
Pause on 1:15 lion king copyrightXD
Did this video help any of you
You have to hit the brakes get it right down low and just give her some gas get it right to get sideways and then you’re gonna hit a thing of traction and it’s just gonna go
Don’t tell me to like this video, I don’t like being told what to do!
But yes, I liked it from the merit of its content, not because you told me too!...
Very good tips, thanks!
But if you don't explain them in Italian, you are legally not allowed to wear those sunglasses.
We'll work on our Italian then 😂
