Just look at the Mould King 12025 Orient Express and see what could have been possible. Then you know why this set is hated.
They've got their feedback, will see if it changes anything for future IDEAS lineup 🤷
@@brickbybrickuk I can't understand why people submit anything at Ideas. They lose all their rights on the design, no matter whether a set will be made or not, and then Lego alters it beyong recognizability.
Better put the instructions on Rebrickable or cooperate with another brand like CaDA, who appreciate original designs and give the designer proper credentials.
Can't answer that, what I noticed though, there is always a rant on how LEGO alters the IDEAS submitions 😅, impossible to make everyone happy, eh?

Well thats an extensive list 😅 to be fair I liked it 😊 but I don't need much, new lego is always good 😁
And the fact that MouldKing showed what more is possible for far less money put the nail in the coffin for me :(

Of course AccorHotels are trying to promote their luxurious upcoming train carts, you definately can't blaim them for that. But why should Lego and we as customers support this?
I guess most of the Lego customers would be totally fine with a beautiful train without any branding. With a nice steam engine equipped with a motor or maybe just ready for power functions to keep the price down.
Just like a modernized version of the Emerald Night maybe? Or just exactly what the first "Idea" was like and what the fans voted for!
8wide is nice, still compatible with Lego R40 but wide enough to have a nice level of interior.
I really like how they designed the carts, but it could have been even better without beeing gagged by a silly license.
All we wished for was a beautiful, but yet affordable Train - with a stunning detailed steam engine AND lovely cart(s), compatible with Lego Tracks and at least ready for motorization. Looking stunning in a lit up display cabinet as well as on the floor of a childs room. No one really needs a lincense for that.
MK impressively demonstrated that this is possible, even with two motors, 'steam', RC, light, close to 3900 perfectly fitting pieces with near perfect color tones, 32 curved tracks - and all that for only $120 instead of 300€. I even ordered a second set because -as lego demonstrated - two carts look even better :D
Oh i totally forgot to tell how good these speedbuild videos are. This must add a lot of building time on top, but the result is amazing!
I think its disliked because of the massive difference to the Original OE and the Ideas Entry😅Lego made its completely own Version and also build in some serious mistakes and design flaws😅they say that this thing isnt able to be motirized but actually it is😁some fans build in some motorization just a couple hours after release😮 very good video anyway!!😊keep up the great work😊
What works for me is not to have any expectations and I'm happy with every new set 😁 they are all brilliant
