Angelina and Sandro are pretty much the perfect pair on this show. They obviously are both passionate about care and super knowledgeable but having Angela's detailed explanations along with Sandro's more relaxed attitude towards everything makes for a hilarious combination. Obviously the hosts are doing great as well. This show just keeps getting better and better, keep it up! :D
I think the pairings also help a lot too. The best episodes are when Angelina is paired with Justin/Jobe, because they're all very technical & great at explaining how the system is *supposed* to work, what went wrong in this case, why it's wrong, what should be done to fix it (if it can be fixed). Sandro is incredibly knowledgeable, but I think he pairs best with James because they're both just super chill and Bro out over their reactions. No less informative, but more big picture/big laughs, and the explanations are more broad strokes. Nolan & Jeremiah are kinda wildcards, because they can fit well in either context. Technical or Bro-y "For the Boys".
I love the contrast between Angelina and Sandro. Angelina goes into instructor mode and talks about everything going on under the hood, and why it does what it does. Then Sandro looks at it from his perspective as an on the job mechanic, and just says “Shit’s fucked, but it looked like fun.” They’re both very knowledgeable, but it’s how they learned and where they apply their knowledge that’s made them so different. And that’s what’s so cool about hearing both of their opinions.
I love the contrast of Angelina's instructorship with Sandro's veteran shop gremlin attitude. 😂 They're both great and knowledgeable, coming at the problems from two different perspectives.

Former Blown alcohol Pro Mod, TAD, and TAFC racer here commenting on the blown Big Block Chevy fire. The tank that is belching fire is what is referred to as a puke tank. High level blown motors spit up a lot of oil from crank case pressure and they get a lot of fuel into the oil via blowby from the rings and the sheer amount of fuel we dump in. We have to vent that externally away from the engine and away from the tires which is why it's located towards the rear of the car and routed either with special hose, a pipe, or through the chassis rails, This is a must regardless of wet or dry sump oiling systems. As far as what happened and how it lit on fire that far forward it appears the head gasket pushed (Green flame of burning copper out exhaust at bank two 13:25) which then blew the burst panel (Flames by the idler pulley at 13:25) shooting flame forward igniting the vapors from the puke tank. Using a fan to blow the fumes back towards the engine is a bad idea, we don't run coolant on blown alcohol (Save for monster trucks) or blown fuel (Nitro) engines anyway, it would be useful between pulls to help cool it down for the next pull but not during. A burst panel diverter or having the tank in the rear could have prevented the vapor fire. @elliottsw - I don't mean they disagree in the sense that one thinks the other is wrong, I mean, they would disagree on things because Angelina is safety, methodical, do it the right way, by the book. You start by diagnostics and eliminating causes. Santos is more of a " let's try this . Oops, it burst into flames. Let's try this" kind of mechanic. If you gave both of them the same car to diagnose, both would find the problem and fix it, but how they found the problem and how they fixed it would be completely different. They would both be right in the end, but how they got to the end would be different.

Great last point there about cold starts! Engineers design these cars knowing that people don't want to have to wait around for the engine to warm up. Give it a minute or two for everything to get situated, then drive it like normal until it's up to temp before you start going crazy. More and more vehicles nowadays have yellow indicators before the redline to let you know that's the recommended temporary limit until the engine gets warmer, so keep an eye on that as well.

Always love the Angelina & Sandro show. They complement each other well since they tend to agree on the big things but give different opinions on the details. I did a mis-shift on the highway once, 3rd instead of 5th, with no problems whatsoever. That was in an early 90s VW, though. Amazing engine.
The Porsche obviously had a lot of custom work done, meaning the engine would be high strung and close to it's limits already. In a regular car it's set up and tuned for reliability nowhere near its limits so that something like a mis-shift won't immediately destroy it.

Man that engine falling reminds me of working on my Dad's MG and trying to replace the transmission. Lift failed as we were lowering it. Dropped the engine maybe three or four feet, then stopped dead just a foot above the ground. Damn near pulled the ceiling down on us. We had to scramble to build a platform out of wooden blocks and shit we had laying around to hold it up while we went to the store and bought a new lift.

I love to run through my power band, but man, the thought of money shifting really terrifies me. So I don't slam my gears. I take the time to make sure my stick went exactly where I wanted it to go.
I have had problems with the current cheap part plastic radiators separating and explosively leaking. An aluminum racing radiator was cheaper than a factory, and the cars ran much better with a racing radiator. I just replaced the entire damaged wiring harness on my GT500 without instructions. None of my manuals detailed replacing the entire engine wiring harness, and mechanics didn't want to do the job. I wasn't going to a Ford dealer. Their mechanic created the mess. They claimed to have put in a new wiring harness, but all the jerk mechanic did was wrap electrical tape around the damaged wiring. First, I found out when it wouldn't pass emissions, and then error codes started. The dealer claimed no responsibility- it was their best mechanic?
I genuinely REALLY like Angelina and Sandro so much. They're so different in their approach, I really love the way Angelina is so analytical and explains things in enough detail that even someone inexperienced can mostly understand what she means. Sandro, he just fucking sends it with all the chill in the world, and sometimes that's what you need too lol.
15:22 As an engineer I can say even more. Warming an engine by letting it idle for 10 minutes is slowly killing it. Why? Because you are forcing your engine to work while being cold for a long time. The best thing to do (esp. in winter) is letting the engine idle for 5-20 sec and then just proced to drive (with low RPM at first - 1000-2000).
Angelina and Sandro are pretty much the perfect pair on this show. We had to scramble to build a platform out of wooden blocks and shit we had laying around to hold it up while we went to the store and bought a new lift.
I feel like Angelina has a ton of suppressed adult humor waiting to come out
Y'all should get Eric from "I Do Cars" to give you his five favorite engine disasters! I guarantee that man has stories to tell!
I love how you all have fun AND explain a lot.
I found out I'll be on the road for 6 hours tomorrow, for a training sesh, and I already had a whole day's worth of work scheduled!
Argh! Anger! Many Unhappys!
*_Wait, was that Sandro and Ms. A?!_*
_friggin sweet, not a bad day after all_
Just found this channel yesterday and I'm hooked! Angelina explains things very well; seems like a great teacher. Sandro is funny af and they make a great pair of guests! I also liked the episodes with Matt (offroad wrecker) as I used to be a wreckmaster myself. I love the hosts as well. Y'all doing great things together over there and I appreciate all the work put into these videos.
Keep 'em comin!!
0:09 this is why its called a cummins engine
Both these mechanics are awesome. 3/4 of them are super awesome.
11:25 - Ok now that guy... he should be proud of that carnage. I've never in my life seen so many bits in an oil pan lol, that was impressive af...
I love Sandro's reactions.
I love to run through my power band, but man, the thought of money shifting really terrifies me. So I don't slam my gears. I take the time to make sure my stick went exactly where I wanted it to go.
That’s what she said
Honestly sandro has grown on me hundred percent one of the best experts that has been on the show
Lesson of the day: Don't do Meth. ✅
Let's make this serie's motto "For the boys"😂
I've been learning a lot watching you! Love the content, really like all the personalities involved. Great job!
Angelina should teach online classes and Sandro can teach me how to look cool while at the same time being the teacher's pet
Angelina and Sandro!!!!! WINNING!!!
Angelina and Sandro are indeed the dream team
Angelina and Sandro are the only two guest host I tune in for. Bring them in more!!
I love these two as guests. I mean just hire them full time.
I'm with everyone else: Miss A amd Sandro are awesome 🤘🏻
Angelina and Sandro are the best
So I would love to sit and have a beer with Sandro. Dude seems so chill and genuine.
Sandro is funny man! I be looking for him in all these type of videos😂
I love how collectively loved Sandro is. Put some Lucas in there 😭
