It's unfortunate that in 1986 I was so deep into the Los Angeles/Orange County punk scene that I didn't even know about this band....but then back in the day, there was no cross over.. metal and punks didn't mix, except for Motorhead. Still I'm glad I have found out about X and am in love.
I can see why u liked the punk scene in the 80s it was hardcore + metal back then was glam and glam is wack not enough talent at least punks did it for the music and of course thrash metal also did it for the music but x / Japan just on another level metal as fuck and can bring punk rockers to like this music style
@@orangegreen3769 rumor had it that he got an accident that broke his wrist, so he couldn't play as good as before. and the wildest rumor that I read on an old japanese blog was that it was Yoshiki who actually ordered the driver to accidentally hit Jun because he was in bitter disagreement with him at the time

高井さんのギターは歴代X JAPANの中で最高のテクニック。
脱退したために二度と演奏されない曲がここだけで聴けるのは有難い。
YOSHIKIのショックはそれだけ大きかったという事。
これ観に行った！たしかここ、ニチイの中にあったと思う。Toshiの声の抜け具合がいいわ。凄い映像出てくるな。

Not true. Metal and punk bands played shows together a lot in Japan in the 80s. Even X played with Masturbation and G-Zet.
Metal and punk mixed a lot, just that the bands doing it weren't widely known. English Dogs in England, GISM in Japan, british stuff like Sacrilege.
