@4kCollectivE got it last week after pre ordering it last September. I witnessed the entire filming in my hometown Deventer back in 1976 and saw the movie premiere in the theater that was used in the actual movie where the British troops were instructed by “Edward Fox”. The transfer is absolutely superb and the extras are a treat compared to the bare bones and crappy quality Blu Ray release. Love how they used the different original movieposters for the artwork and not like often done nowadays a new artwork design. My 4K releease of 2024 together with the Godzilla Minus One box! And thanks for showing the inside art of the 4K. Had not seen that thanks to the black case! And I see, from the menu, you also have a Magnetar900 player. Great choice!
Expensive box set, but a movie ,that i can't be without.👍 Thank for for your review, i'am getting this as soon as possible. Saw this in a cinema from it's Premier, this is a truly Epic movie. I love James Caan, and Sean Connery in this. 👏
Remember dragging my sister with me to see this in London, Ontario, Canada when it came out. A posral strike here has delayed delivery until after Christmas and Boxing Day! Thanks for the review... it'll have tide me over until my copy gets here. Happy Christmas everyone.
Over £100 for this. Very expensive for a cardboard box and a booklet over a regular 4K release. Running at over double the cost of recent deluxe colkectors 4k releases and 3 times steelbooks.
I think it is limited to 1500 copies. Rarity and the cost to remaster and get the rights to the movie and documentaries may explain the high price. Will a standard release come out? Who knows.
Perhaps if you live in Freeland. To me, this is a very affordable set, even with the shipping costs from Australia. In fact, it's one of the cheaper sets I've imported in a while.
Postage is a real killer these days. This set is about £55-60 in Australia and New Zealand. We get the same when we import discs from the US or UK. I'm often quoted £20-30 just to mail a single disc to New Zealand. Imprint and Via Vision are the only plus for collectors on this side of the globe.

Preordered it when I first was available and received it two weeks ago. Will watch it with friends in the next month.
Definitely will pick this is up when the standard SKU gets released. I like the extra stuff but its beyond my budget

Hopefully a US label can pick it up on 4K because it'll cost a lot for me to import to the UK.
I’ve ordered my copy I was hoping it would be here before Christmas but unfortunately not. I’m looking forward to rewatching it in 4k
