I ordered North By Northwest, and there was only 1 copy available on Amazon. I got the Ultimate, Collectors Edition with Steelbook. I never saw this movie, and I would have passed on it, If I didn't see your review. I also ordered the Blazing Saddles Ultimate Collectors Edition and the Zaz The Collection. @jonathantodd9906 That's impossible. There's been no pre-order announcement for the new T2 on 4k. Unless you meant the previous release which was only a scan of the 3D print of the film

Though don't you think it's odd the didn't give NBNW Dolby vision HDR? Seems a strange omission with this presumably being the definitive version. Unless maybe they're going to do a Sony and re-release it at a later date with DV added?

I know Cameron's movies get a bad wrap online by some. I saw Terminator in it's new 4K transfer in theaters this summer and it looked great on the big screen.

It’s great to see Warner Bros. competing with Universal on turning out perfect restorations of classic movies. It’s exactly what these movies deserve and so many more movies need the same treatment! Can’t wait to see what the future holds.
I went with the slip cover after seeing that hideous steelbook artwork work which to me is an insult to o e of the greatest movies ever made, I also must add that I'm super disappointed for not having this released as a box set, it's such a shame.

After the messy controversy of James Cameron's incredibly shitty response towards his restorations, I was honestly worried about The Terminator suffering a similar fate. Thankfully, it doesn't have a lot of DNR and shitty AI restoration, I must thank you for this honest no BS review of The Terminator 4K release, I think I might have to pick this one up. Hopefully, a future brand new restoration of T2 Judgment Day 4K release is in the works and follows a similar path like this one.

I had a bad experience with my pre-order of Terminator from GRUV. They still have not settled out the problem with ordering and so far it is blamed on website maintanance so I lost out on this steelbook disk for $30. I am still upset but hope to get it tho it is now unavailable. The price may never be the same.

@@ricogomez4020 Glad to hear you enjoyed my Terminator 4K💿 review!💥But on a side note I gotta say your comments about North By Northwest don’t really make any 🤨sense because if you actually sat down & compared that plane chase scene side by side (like I did😉) to the old Blu Ray💿 transfer vs this new 4K restoration of North By Northwest on 4K💿, the new 4K💿 transfer is simply a night & day massive upgrade in colors & image quality over the previous old & now poorer looking Blu Ray💿 transfer!! 🤔So the only conclusion that your erroneously confusing comments leads me to believe is that you either haven’t actually seen in comparison how the old Blu Ray transfer looked in that scene or it’s been so long since you watched the old Blu Ray that you don’t remember how poor it looks in comparison to the new outstanding North By Northwest 4K💿 transfer!! 💥FYI: After I went back & compared that scene again for a 2nd time it’s very clear that the colors & color tones all look more lifelike & are dramatically better on this new 4K💿 & it’s definitely NOT “too much brown” as you erroneously said & the old Blu Ray transfer is the one that looks all heavily brownish & very washed out brown color wise, the new 4K had much more variations & a more natural coloring & better looking overall!! 😉Hope this info helps you out!👍

Of course, the sharpness of the 4k blows away the dvd. @jonathantodd9906 That's impossible. There's been no pre-order announcement for the new T2 on 4k. Unless you meant the previous release which was only a scan of the 3D print of the film
Thanks for another super review sir! I Pre-ordered both T1 and NBNW and am so relieved to hear your good news about their quality awesome! Though don't you think it's odd the didn't give NBNW Dolby vision HDR? Seems a strange omission with this presumably being the definitive version. Unless maybe they're going to do a Sony and re-release it at a later date with DV added?
@@jeremyknight6996 🤔So I don’t think it is ODD at all that WB only did a HDR10 master because they use HDR10 on a lot of their older classic films & (as I shared in this video) it still looks simply outstanding on this North by Northwest 4K transfer & Warner Bothers doesn’t usually go back to re-release classic films with Dolby Vision so this is the FINAL & BEST version we will ever see for North by Northwest & I gotta say your in for a massive 🍭treat when you watch it!!👌

After listening to your very positive reviews, I’m very excited to experience these fantastic movies in glorious 4K Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Great job with these reviews. I always look forward to your next video to learn about the latest in the physical media world. This year has just been simply incredible with all the new releases. Now all I need is the 4K ultimate collectors editions of Forbidden Planet, The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951), and the Time Machine (1960).

💥To answer your question about the upcoming CUBE 4K restoration, I share in all of my studio insider videos that those are all FUTURE projects being worked on & in various stages of development by the studios & each 4K restoration has numerous moving parts that can take anywhere up to 1 year to fully complete & then start the manufacturing process which has its own set of delays going on in the 4K💿 movie industry that I’ve been talking about a lot in videos this entire year! So every 4K💿 title I give all of you a sneak peak behind the scenes on is still being worked on by each of the studios & once I get any more big & new updates on any of those 4K💿 releases I always share (if I’m allowed to by the studios) in my videos!👍

I know Cameron's movies get a bad wrap online by some. I saw Terminator in it's new 4K transfer in theaters this summer and it looked great on the big screen.

Hey James 👋 I'm happy hear you recommend The Terminator on 4k. I pre-ordered this back in September. My only wish is that it came in a limited edition box set like Nightmare on elm st, Wizard of Oz, Twister and other Warner Bros titles. The Terminator mostly definitely deserves this treatment. It’s great to see Warner Bros. competing with Universal on turning out perfect restorations of classic movies. It’s exactly what these movies deserve and so many more movies need the same treatment! Can’t wait to see what the future holds.
I went with the slip cover after seeing that hideous steelbook artwork work which to me is an insult to o e of the greatest movies ever made, I also must add that I'm super disappointed for not having this released as a box set, it's such a shame.
Will terminator 3 come out on 4K at any point as it’s the only one that’s not on the format now?

I received Blazing Saddles and North By Northwest early and they both were stunning to watch and listen too!
After the messy controversy of James Cameron's incredibly shitty response towards his restorations, I was honestly worried about The Terminator suffering a similar fate.
Thankfully, it doesn't have a lot of DNR and shitty AI restoration, I must thank you for this honest no BS review of The Terminator 4K release, I think I might have to pick this one up. Hopefully, a future brand new restoration of T2 Judgment Day 4K release is in the works and follows a similar path like this one.

I had a bad experience with my pre-order of Terminator from GRUV. They still have not settled out the problem with ordering and so far it is blamed on website maintanance so I lost out on this steelbook disk for $30. I am still upset but hope to get it tho it is now unavailable. The price may never be the same.

I agree with you on TERMINATOR 100% but strongly disagree with NORTH BY NORTHWEST. That crop duster scene was too much brown.
@@ricogomez4020 Glad to hear you enjoyed my Terminator 4K💿 review!💥But on a side note I gotta say your comments about North By Northwest don’t really make any 🤨sense because if you actually sat down & compared that plane chase scene side by side (like I did😉) to the old Blu Ray💿 transfer vs this new 4K restoration of North By Northwest on 4K💿, the new 4K💿 transfer is simply a night & day massive upgrade in colors & image quality over the previous old & now poorer looking Blu Ray💿 transfer!! 🤔So the only conclusion that your erroneously confusing comments leads me to believe is that you either haven’t actually seen in comparison how the old Blu Ray transfer looked in that scene or it’s been so long since you watched the old Blu Ray that you don’t remember how poor it looks in comparison to the new outstanding North By Northwest 4K💿 transfer!!
💥FYI: After I went back & compared that scene again for a 2nd time it’s very clear that the colors & color tones all look more lifelike & are dramatically better on this new 4K💿 & it’s definitely NOT “too much brown” as you erroneously said & the old Blu Ray transfer is the one that looks all heavily brownish & very washed out brown color wise, the new 4K had much more variations & a more natural coloring & better looking overall!!

Of course, the sharpness of the 4k blows away the dvd. But I'm a 4k buyer that likes 4k to look like RIO BRAVO, 10 COMMANDMENTS, WIZARD OF OZ or RED SHOES and let's face it this NORTH BY NORTHWEST does not look like those old movie transfers. I think this review of yours was the 1st ever I didn't agree with you in 4 years, so it happens.
